It’s a self made construction fixed on the light in the middle of the car with a stick, complicated but working

Yes, this year I was only able to spend two weekends at the track, but it was definitely a lot of fun 😁
      hopefully more next year 👋

Hey there, I'm the driver of that black Subaru you honked at. This right there was my very first lap on the track so it is obvious that I'm not cornering as fast as most drivers would that day. Still I can't just go straight into the barriers to let anyone pass. At some point I too have to turn the wheel to get around some corners... So as an experienced driver (assuming you are), it should be your responsibility to account for newbies and not the other way round! You honking at me is in my opinion a big no-go. If you wanna pass, then do it when it's save ffs. And in case I ruined your lap time I'd suggest going for trackdays instead of touristenfahrten. Always put safety before laptimes mate. Cheers anyway ✌🏽️

    • @NordschleifeTypeR

Heiko, I understand it was your first lap, but you cannot blink right and then move left, sorry this is an absolute no-go, ground rules of the street and track! How should I account for newbies blinking right and moving left? With such behaviour is how accidents happens, definitely not by honking, and btw honking is used “to alert a driver who is about to hit you” just read driving school booklets.
You did it very well the corner and straight before, but on that corner just accept your mistake. Take care and stay safe ✌️🙏

@@NordschleifeTypeR Didn't realise my blinker was still on at that time. Then I guess I did make a mistake. Nevertheless when there is that much traffic (about 300 vehicles simultaneously) I can't assume that everyone is experienced and does forseable things (like me in that case). Don't get me wrong... I'm not saying you are reckless or anything by any means but you could have waited for the next straight peace of track and overtake me there without any problems. Appreciate your profesionalism here so have fun and stay safe

I agree with you, the Sunday was just terrible, almost half day closed, too busy and when re-open long waiting time; apart of the weather that was excellent one of the worst days of tourist drives

Thing is, you moved over waay to late. He was already taking inside line. You closed the gap in the last second changing your line unexpctedly. You should have been harder on the brakes and take the outside or close te gap much earlier so he wont try to overtake you.

Hello again from California Type R…Just curious if you have considered modifying your Type R? I know in your last response that you mentioned that you push your car to the limit…and I’m sure you have concerns about overheating etc. Have you considered some flash tunes which are reversible in case they cause heat issues? Also are you using stickier racing tire compounds rather than stock tires? Always enjoy seeing you carve up the Nurburgring…especially with a passenger sitting beside you!!!😁👍

    • @NordschleifeTypeR

Hi Martin, great to hear from you, hope you are doing well 😃
And thank you for watching and enjoying my videos ☺️😊
I’ve not really considered any additional mods at the moment 🥹
This year I was only able to spend two weekends on the track, so not that much and not sure about next year; what I’ve upgraded are the break pads to Endless ME22 this year, working much better in terms of fading and pedal pressure 😆
On the tires I moved in 2020 to other wheels Titan 7 T-R10 (US brand) 18 inch x 9.5 width with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 semi slick tires 265/35 R18, this is a massive improvement compared to the stock tires and wheels, way better grip, can definitely recommend that 👌
Have you done any upgrades in the meantime?

@@NordschleifeTypeR I have the Titan TS-5 wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. I’ve installed a Hondata Fuel System,27Won Performance Intercooler,Koyorad radiator,HKS solid boost tubes,27Won Performance Turbo and a custom tune from Church Performance in Long Beach,California. Horsepower is around 370 for now. Waiting to add a Hondata MAF sensor,a performance downpipe, new fuel lines for E-85 fuel,PRL fuel system and Nuke dual oil catch cans. No overheating issues for me at this time.

@@NordschleifeTypeR As you know the wheel and tire size that you and I have is the same as the 2023 Type R(except for the 19 inch wheels). No rubbing issues with the fenders etc.

@@NordschleifeTypeR Do you just prefer T-R10 over the T-S5, personally I’m stuck between both of them in gold but I think one of the two will look great on my R especially since it’s black.

I don’t know, I haven’t spoken with the driver, but it had definitely some mods, from what I saw a full cage/roll-bar inside, surely other suspensions as very stable, wheels and tires also didn’t look original and based on the straight it had more than 250/265 horsepower, I could hardly pass him 🚀😆
