Instagram doesn't have ad revenue, it's just any popular account can strike sponsorship deals, and they usually have multiple popular accounts coz they ask people to go to their other accounts to get more memes. It's disappointing coz they don't care about the memes, just followers.

the funny thing is, the water mark thing would have worked if reddit wasn't such a fucking hive mind. the removers only worked because they were all using the exact same image, so you could just subtract it out.

@@soup6874 what og content? I rarely see "original memes" on reddit or anywhere else, memes are pretty well known for being endless copies of copies. You realize the thing that makes them "memes" is the fact that we make small alterations and pass it around, right?
The solution I used was to put hidden swastikas in my memes. If I found it shared anywhere other than 4chan or Reddit I would point out the hidden swastika and report the image.

@@brenerden lol we shouldn't make this sound like a nature thing with the 'you redditors' lmao I switch platforms everyday but I just find Instagram comment sections filled with less creativity than Reddit, the same way how Facebook has more basic comments than insta. In addition, Reddit mods are purely in it for the connections we create they don't make any money so no one is taking advantage of anyone and the content gains traction solely based on it's quality, not the status of the poster but Instagram page owners just post memes they don't care enough to crop properly and make hundreds of thousands. (So Reddit is kinda like a communist version of twitter and insta is a socialist version). Regarding the videos, Reddit also has alot of videos and most come from RUclips or are originally filmed and sometimes insta.

There was a time when normal people did not know what a meme was. And saying "meme" aloud in public was considered embarrassing and/or confusing.
A really ignorant and annoying thing is that sometimes on Instagram there’ll be memes from reddit that will only have to do with Reddit. For example, the upvote button is red/orange meme would be posted on Instagram, but most viewers would either be confused or annoyed that the poster is so lazy.

Honestly fuck PETA. They pretend to be a rights activist group, yet put down more than 90% of the animals they take in and bully/harrass anyone who questions their behaviour.
I understand sometimes animals need to be put down, but a 90% plus put down rate? They aren't trying to adopt them out, because they don't want to. They beleive it's better to have a dead animal than one kept as a pet. They just suck.
If you don't beleive me, just go to their website and look for information on adopting. There's NOTHING. Only "success" stories on the poor baby animals they "rescued". Even if there was a tab for information on adopting, why wouldn't it be on the front page? Shouldn't adoption be the most important goal? Oh wait, it's not, because PETA is trash and kills animals, then slanders those who call them out. Pure garbage.
