You are so right about her release videos! I could not hold back and ordered Romy and Ashes of Rose. I enjoy the formula and I think this is the most comfortable one Lisa has created yet. Not drying but quite lasting and the shades I ordered are very everyday. I am happy about the refill system in her range. I see me using up Romy quite quickly (really cool toned like the ones I used back in the 90ties) and I hit pan on one of her eyeshadows already.
Romy looks like the nude everyone with cooler tones has been asking for. It would look friggin dreadful on me but I am so happy for everyone who loves it.

Afterwards, I practically sprinted to Selfridges on the very first day of my trip to pick one up. And, of course, I ended up with three shades 🤷♀️🤦♀️😂 I've got Ashes of Roses, Romy and Simone, and they're all absolutely beautiful ❤️
Lisa is completely compelling. I finally bought from her! I love the concept and I’m excited to receive it. I love to see the fusion of past and future. The colours are quite beautiful and I am sure I’ll love the formula.
I agree with everything you said about these :) the colours look amazing on you!! I did see Lisa say she would bring her other formulas to the refills, but she did say that the Velvets wouldn't be coming to it :( Lisa is my fave out of the shades I picked up (Lisa, Ashes of Roses, and Romy) - it's very close to Velvet Petal which she discontinued, and also Sunday Matinee, but I like the shade/formula of Lisa more!!
I think the formula of the velvets might be the reason they would not fit in this format. I look forward to the new shades reveal next year. Ohhh that makes me happy because I have neither of the ones you mentioned and now I know I don’t need Sunday Matinee (have considered it a few times). How do you like Romy?? I didn’t even realize it until after you said it, but yes, the formula is like a more substantial version of the balms - her formulations are always so unique from anything else in the market - I’m not sure how she works her magic- and yes, her charisma is at 100% - I can never say no to at least try a new release once I’ve listened to her video - I’m always charmed by her 💖😍 - I got ashes of roses and Medici and the cooler tones are perfect for me as everyday nudes ❤
I just bought the refill because I don't like the peanut. I had to put it into a holder (like the kind with a mirror) because the cap isn't the tightest , but the refill on its own is wonderful to use and still has that vintage feel!
I am quite pleased with the look of the refill. I was also not enamored with the outside component at first but it has grown on me. Not every lipstick needs to be a straight cylinder some variety is good. Hmm I have not noticed the cap being loose…🤔
Mostly Rose Tulle from Dior with Anjelica by LE on top. I used a tiny bit of brown from the VBB Signature quad too but it is mostly the pinks that are doing it here. I love Anjelica!

Oh no definitely a neutral deeper pink, super pretty but not reddish. I think Lisa's lighting is too harsh and tends to misrepresent colours sometimes. Ashes is awesome...like a rosewood brown but throw some cool tones in there for good measure.

But i must say i really love her lipsticks mostly the Velvet Matt and the Saturated formulas! I am on my second round of Rainbow Spill and Strawberry Shock! I do have a quick question regarding the new Rouge Experience packaging. My top lid is coming off extremely easily is this normal? Someone else has experienced that? 💄💄
I don’t think the top should come off easily - are you talking about the main case or the temporary top of the refill - I heard some of the temporary refill tops are not always tight - but the pretty main case should click in tight and secure - make sure you push down to hear a click - a click putting the refill in the base and a click when putting the top on - otherwise I’d call customer service - mine is super tight and secure
I had that. I made a video and sent it to Customer Service and they replaced it for me. It was really loose and if I shook it, it came off. So there's definitely a flaw in production somehow. I'm not sure if it's the refill that's the problem or the case itself (can't see it can be the case as it's just two pieces - thinking it must be something to do with the grooves on the refill.) I haven't got my replacement yet so I can't see the difference. Hoping the new one is tight - I haven't seen any reviews saying they've had loose lids.

No they will not. The refill is really only suited to her own line. The big ring shape of the refill completes the entire component and would not match any other component.

Ashes tends to pull differently. On Martina (Lily) it looked almost like a red brown and on me it’s definitely more of a balanced brown with a hint of coolness.

Thanks for reviewing LE’s lipsticks. Honestly I’ve got just one LE lipstick “Dance Card” and I didn’t like it at all. It turned out very orange on my skin tone and it is very runny on my lips and doesn’t have any longevity. Am I the only one who has this issue with it?? 😢
Hmmm hard to say. I don’t have Dance Card precisely because I suspected it would not be my favorite in terms of performance. It’s the kind of colour that has a lot of white pigment and those always perform worse. Maybe give another colour or formula from her range a try?

Its hard to say no to LE....my credit card always know it will be used when Save the date mail comes in no matter what it is 😅...but, the products never dissapoints me, I ❤ all that I bought and is most used in my collection....so no regret ;) ...I actually can't wait for early next year already to new shades and CONCEALER

I didn't have any contact with custom in my country (I am in EU) and there wasn't any additional cost. This formula is much better than Balm and I am so pleased because I threw Balm away. Its taste is awful.
honestly if the sentiment behind this refillable lipstick is eco-friendliness, i feel like the actual lipstick component should be interchangeable between brands. to me this is just another brand release. also the issue with something as frivolous as makeup is human nature. people want to explore new beands, try different products, play with different packaging, the act of purchasing and the anticipation of waiting for you purchase to arrive is part of the fun so i don't really see this working, also how often do people actually finish a lipstick or want to wear the same colour everyday. it would just be a 49 quid ornament sitting in your drawer
I think if you buy into the refillable idea, you need to still keep your feet on the ground. I do think the outside component is beautiful and I only need 1 (not one for every new colour), the rest of the lipstick can be re-cycled, but of course I don't suffer the delusion that part of the reason I want it is because it is new and shiny. You would be surprised, many people here have gone trough LE lipsticks. I am close on 1 velvet and several lucents. I hope ideally she will transfer the lucents in this format too since they can go fairly fast. By the way some of the other brands refills are interchangeable...Dior, Hermes and Prada fit into each other's components. However, they are not recyclable. In conclusion, right now recycling makeup packaging is an afterthought and a marketing ploy for most brands. We gotta start somewhere though and I think LE has her heart in the right place. And finally, it is entirely up to the customer, as I mentioned, to actually recycle properly.
Ashes of rosess=Lisa+Simone; Lisa= Milani matte lipstick(discontinued old packaging) +any clear balm; Simone= Velvet Affair + any clear balm to sheer out. I am quite disappointed about the new release,except the aluminum package which feel bit too heavy in my purse, when I drink coffee ,the whole color marked on my coffee cup is so embarrassing.Adore Lisa's artistry,however sad to say the new shades of rouge experience didn't convince/impress me .
I got Lisa, Medici and Romy and am IN LOVE with this formula. Quite possibly my favorite out of all of them.

I tried both and bought ashes as my everyday, medici is an absolute mood though I look how they both pop but are good for everyday harmonious make up!

Ashes is much more neutral and brown, Spirited Away has very strong terracotta ruddy hues.

Too bad you are disappointed. They are cream lipsticks though, being transfer proof is not among the claims of this formula.
