I love, love, love the LE foundation. I have it in 11. I am in my minimal base phase too, lol. So I don't wear it often but its so beautiful, such a flawless finish.
Top 3 most complimented foundations of all-time! I keep thinking about repurchasing it but coz I wear so little foundation now I don't want it to just be a dust catcher. It's too good!
Me tooo! Finally able to buy the items on sale. I wish the website had better sales. I want to make use of the loyalty program but the sales are a much better deal
This is such a great and in depth review! I love your honesty and all the effort you’ve put it. This is truly the most reliable and honest review of LE products🙂 I have the same issue as you when it comes to LE liquid lipstick! I thought it was user error, but guess I am not alone 😅
Owh nooo the Velveteen has gotten me in some embarrassing situations. It's so unreliable. I understand people wanted a non drying liquid lip but it just wasn't for me.
I hope I could like this video more than one! Thank you, and this series started off with 3 brands I’m most interested in. You’re so amazingly passionate.❤❤❤
They're my favorite brands so a buyers guide was on my mind for a while. It's a nice way to showcase my collection and to speedreview the brand. It's also nice to see all the products tested together coz you can get a feel on the collection as a whole! I'm happy you enjoy the videos!
@ I am biracial and am just a bit deeper and more warm and the Thalia when applied carefully is just perfect. I have Irene and use it as a base because it’s basically my skin colour. Gaia is nice but a bit boring on its own for me. I love the formula and I hope she comes out with a matte blue and a matte green.
I havent tried her velveteen formula yet, but her enhance lip liners last soooo long, through dinner and beyond. I dont find them drying either. They come in so many more shades than the velveteen. Both her lip liners, the lucent formula, and her newnsatin formula are the top of the top for me.
This was a spectacular review, I've watched a few of your Lisa Eldridge videos (my favorite was your review of the eyeshadow palettes), but this was really helpful. I'm mixed on the Rouge Experience, I plan to try one or two to see how the formula is, but I would've enjoyed the release a lot more if she hadn't hyped it up for a year. Perhaps it's just my perspective on makeup, but I don't see the refillable aspect or being able to "pass it down" to others as a selling point. But the formula sounds very nice, so I'm excited to check it out for that reason.
Aside from the packaging it's actually a good formula. It's definitely got some velvet quality to it but mixed with a little Luxuriously Lucent. When it comes to the packaging. Some people enjoy collecting vintage makeup. This seems like one that in 50years (the packaging/ not the lipstick) would be appreciated by a fellow makeup lover. This is not for everyone though. I secretly hope she comes out with limited edition versions. Like a black version! It's a formula worth a try. But I would stick to 1
Omg, thanks for the thorough LE round up! I'm so bummed about the velveteen liquids as I was saving up for these😢 Would you consider Violette_fr's petal bouche to be more long lasting and more put than the velveteens? If not, any liquid lip reccomendations that are long lasting and as beautiful of a red than LE/Violette_fr ?
Yes! Originally I talked about the violette formula but my video was wayyy to long. Sometimes my tangents are tooo long and I edit them out. But I like the violette formula so much more. Stays on all day. Buildable for those rose Petal lips. Drying but reliable!
Simone is cool on me, which I like, Romy is my absolute favourite, and Lisa ages me. It’s this kind of rosy shade that just looks old on me. I’m 48. I am ok with my age but the lip shade Lisa just isn’t exactly flattering on me. Maybe once I find a lip liner that affects the shade and changes it so it looks better on me, I’ll be happier about it. Thank you for the thorough review of all the LE products you’ve used . Ps: when I eat, all lipsticks land on my chin lol
I hear that all the time. But my last comment section there were people with a similar experience as mine. So I think it's a batch issue. But I can't talk about the Balms coz of the taste and smell. The taste! It's like clay. Like it's expired but came like that new
Over the years, I’ve purchased every new release from LE except for the most recent lipstick. I guess I’m just over the lippies from her and the limited color collection this time really catered to specific skin tones. Except for one color, they all also seem to lean warm. I wish she would release more unique items, her velvets were revolutionary at the time. I realize she’s still a relatively small brand but it seems like she is really struggling to get her products to the market (will we ever actually see the blush again?). All that being said, I agree with you - the mascara, cleanser, and lip liners are definitely worth the money.
Totally fair point. With LE I know she owns her own formulas and therefore struggles with getting the raw materials on time. From a customer point of view this can be super frustrating and you are not alone for sure! She indeed is small still and ambitious. I'll keep on reviewing until I eventually also lose my interest
@@Dinozzzaur Exactly! I had the same, and although they have sent me a replacement for the faulty one they sent me a rather disappointing message stating their product had no fault and the problem was "shaking it with force". 🤨
You're not the only one to dislike the lip balm ! I was so disappointed, they aren't as moisturizing as I would have liked
Soooo many people love them. Mine taste like they are expired but they were new! I literally don't dare to wear sweet fig for health reasons.

Great video🎉 I’ve already bought LE with 20% off on niche-beauty - I was so happy when I saw they launched there😅

Thank you so much for this video! I love all of your reviews but this kind of brand overview is really really great 👍 ❤
Thank you! I figured these overview are just really helpful even for me. It's also nice to do 1 full face of each brand

I think you would love the Thalia rosewood liquid silk eyeliner. You are only a bit fairer than me and that’s my favourite one on done shadow.
I think so as well!🙈

I got the new shade in Audrey and Lisa. They are stunning! 🩷🩷🩷
Aren't they great! I love mine..it's so good

Agree agree! I think the brand shines with their lip formulations. The velvet and the new rouge experience are so unique

Really!? Omg most lipsticks I mentioned are fine. But the freaking Velveteen just dances where ever it wants to go. It makes me so paranoid
Love the lip balm
sweet fig!!! 🥰
No smell at all…

I hope she runs some limited edition colors of the case, kinda like Guerlain. I was actually surprised at the weight considering its aluminum.
Ugghhh wouldn't that be amazing! Like a rose gold edition or black one. I would die
@ omg a Black one would be so gorgeous ❤️❤️❤️

Has someone else experienced the lid of the case being a bit loose?
Yeah, I bought two refills. It was tight on one and loose on another. I just grabbed my wrench and gently pinched it ever so slightly
Mine is insanely tight. I can't get my refill out! But good you asked!
