After watching the Matt Jones vids, that camera makes the track seem flat. So crazy!

I recently got into mountain biking. After riding a couple trails by myself, I now understand how crazy talented these pro riders are. Absolute bonkers.
Have you tried videoing your rides yet? The results will amaze you,! Like if you ride trough some tough roots and rocks, the camera will take away 90% of the difficulty. Maybe you have seen the memes already, but they are true!
Or find a trail which you cannot ride yet, and just take a video of you walking it down. Then check how it looks on your screen, it is magic.
Drone shots are the only way to really understand just how steep these courses are. That or be there in person. Helmet cams just make everything look like your average everyday singletrack.

Mountainbike is really fun, probably my favourite summer activity, I go mountainbikeing with my friends often. It's just so fun, last time I did it was when me and my friend was there almost the whole day.
What a ride, absolutely brilliant. I saw Matt and the team walk down the track it's much tougher than what Ronans footage shows.
I was watching the course for almost a week now on Matt's channel and I thought "wow he really went fast on that"
Now I saw Ronan. *That* was fast
Tbh one of my favorite things about Matt having started taking on Hardline in the past few years is seeing the skill difference between him (an incredibly talented rider in his own right with jumps and slopestyle, just not a career downhill guy) and the top world cup racers. Watching Matt agonizing over the best way to get down the track alive and uninjured through some INSANE features and drops before flipping over to watch BK or Ronan or whoever putting up a casual practice run and absolutely blasting through the same features just highlights how incredibly talented these guys are.
@@vocalimpactplays217 love Matt for the same reason! His content really builds my confidence on bike, he’s showing a very humane side of riding - that’s fine to be scared, or to be tired etc. Watching those professionals doing course previews doesn’t give this feeling simply because they’re so higher skill they look like machines 😅

I have spent a lot of time surfing, snowboarding, racing karts, and quads. This is one of the most dangerous sports I have ever watched. Maybe the Isle of Man can give it a run but that is about it.

Great ride , good commentary absolutely sound lad, agree with some of the comments this camera angle or settings per say doesn’t do track justice or the gnarl the riders ride through!
