Although Homelander was unable to see Hugie, thanks to the Zing not allowing him to see him, just like in the first season when they carried Traslucent's body.
Something interesting I noticed about the game that Butcher and Ryan are playing, it is obviously a parody of Mortal Kombat. However, in addition to that, Lamplighter’s intro animation before the fight is stylized frame-by-frame just like one of Raiden’s intros in MK11
22:54, now I know this ain’t gonna help at all, but skids and mudflap are more like wannabe gangsters instead of stereotypes, and mudflap’s voice actor is black, so……yeah they were my favorite part of the movie…I was 3 when it came out.
For any eagle-eyed MK/Injustice fans, ‘The Tournament of Heroes’ game actually uses a lot of animations from those games. Lamplighter straight up borrows one of MK11 Raiden’s intro animations, along with attack animations from Nightwing and Aquaman from the Injustice games. It’s a cute little easter egg.
14:50 Homelander killing Anika may have saved Ashley too, because she (Anika) was the only other person who knows Maeve is still alive. So Homelander really do himself and Vought a huge disfavor by being just that petty.

The tool showing up doesn’t immediately tell you she used it on herself as opposed to someone else and explaining why and how she does it is definitely a spoiler because there are so many different directions they could’ve taken it.
BY DEFFINITION you telling them something that gets explained later in the series is a spoiler
I love that you both noticed that look homelander gave noir in the beginning 😂.
Sage gave herself a Lobotomy. Being smart is also very depressing. She has very good regeneration so she's gonna go back to normal, it's like getting high, she makes herself stupid to relax.
When you think about it, firecracker is right about Annie still being the same. We've seen her blackmail Gecko into giving her compound V to release into the public and then killing that guy to jack his car in order to save Hughie back in season 2. We just excused it at the time. She was even ready to blast A-Train in front of his family, if Hughie hadn't stopped her. And she's right to be upset with Annie since she pretty ruined her life with that rumor.
Hmmm 🤔
That's the thing, the lengths she's going isn't justified. Her anger is justified, but it doesn't excuse her actions going as far as it did.
no she isn't. annie has obviously changed. bullying is never right but people can change. all the shit she's done so far isn't out of malice. she's not perfect obviously but it's ridiculous how people completely do a 180 on her as if the whole point of her past isn't to make her a more grey character. y'all always need someone to be good or bad. news flash that's not how the world works. you don't get to slander a grown woman bc she said dumb shit at 13.
@@2im36 And yet when she's being called out on what she did to firecracker, she brings up her mom and how she was raised to avoid taking full accountability for her own actions. I'm saying that she still has that mentality to do whatever she needs to do to get what she wants and justifies it later on and we've seen her do this in previous seasons like I mentioned. She still has a lot of growing to do.
@@2im36 Being a kid doesn't mean you get to be free from consequences my guy, trauma goes a long way
You'll find out what that needle-thing is next episode (I didnt know at first either ngl). But NO ONE IS READY for the scene that explains what that object is
they don’t know about a lobotomy 😭
I just knew y'all were going to react the same as me when homelander put his whole ass head up through that ventilation like "GOT YA BIH 👀👀"
Ngl firecracker had me on the verge of switching sides cause after she confronted starlight I was like “damn it makes perfect sense now “
Im sorry not Lupa going “BOMBACLAT” after A-Train saves Hughie
In Season 1 It was Made Clear that Homelander can't see through Zinc and where Hughie Was Hiding it was probably made of zinc That's why it was difficult for Homelander to lazer through without knowing exactly where he was ...😬
Shining the spotlight into homelanders eye really F up his vision super implications for a future Starlight battle?
now ,lemme just ask,is tat because his lasers frequency and the lights frequency is different?cs ive heard several times that laser eyes only lets your vision see red (in this case),and I honestly found that bit ridiculous to be honest ,that a normal light blinded him but i guess they could use the 'enhanced senses' excuse and say he was overloaded ,but I'd imagine the strongest Supe would have a higher threshold, but im no expert so ig your right,Starlight should be a huge asset
Although Homelander was unable to see Hugie, thanks to the Zing not allowing him to see him, just like in the first season when they carried Traslucent's body.
That whole scene with Homelander chasing Hughie was on some Happy Tree Friends/South Park type shi
Sweat drop like the blood drop from spiderman 1
so yall forgot that singer knew she was a supe in ep1. singer was tryna make neuman mad in this episode with the anti supe bill
I can't believe Tilda Swinton voiced the octopus thats so funny lmaoo
The Ancient One lol
@@Redhead_20567Gabriel
Sheera really feeling Hughie's mom's story on post-partum DP.
the fact that i think he's also hallucinating her is whats gonna make this even worse
He's not @@xavierbaker6143
Something interesting I noticed about the game that Butcher and Ryan are playing, it is obviously a parody of Mortal Kombat. However, in addition to that, Lamplighter’s intro animation before the fight is stylized frame-by-frame just like one of Raiden’s intros in MK11
I like the running joke of new noir having to be told to shut up. It’s very quirky. 😂
22:54, now I know this ain’t gonna help at all, but skids and mudflap are more like wannabe gangsters instead of stereotypes, and mudflap’s voice actor is black, so……yeah they were my favorite part of the movie…I was 3 when it came out.
14:51 Lmaoo, now I can't shake the thought that Lupa's power would be that sonic scream shit that Black Canary be on 😂
the bombaclat shout finisher 😄
19:13 This episode is the exact reason that I fear Ice Skating
For any eagle-eyed MK/Injustice fans, ‘The Tournament of Heroes’ game actually uses a lot of animations from those games. Lamplighter straight up borrows one of MK11 Raiden’s intro animations, along with attack animations from Nightwing and Aquaman from the Injustice games. It’s a cute little easter egg.
13:20 The regular show reference 😭🙏
14:50 cover your ears lupa scream incoming😂😂😂
5:55 Singer does know she's a supe, that's why he was looking at her like that while he said it. She just doesn't know that he knows.
14:50 Homelander killing Anika may have saved Ashley too, because she (Anika) was the only other person who knows Maeve is still alive. So Homelander really do himself and Vought a huge disfavor by being just that petty.
So much Spider-Man in this episode. The sweat drop, the mirror... Love it!
Homelander locked in on that scent like a Marine smelling Oil in Siberia! 😂
Blooming onion sex is crazy 💀
I laughed when I saw the homelander cut the girl in half. I can't wait for your reactions to the next episode
19:15 Sheera had to slap her hands together to make sure her fingers were still there after that one
I cant wait for your episode 4 reaction... 🤣🤣 you guys arent ready lmaoo im gonna be laughing so hard at everyone's individual faces through the episode
The way Homelander looked at Lightskin Noir got me CRYINNNNN
those hockey skate blades are no joke. I read an article about a hockey player that died by a slash to his throat from another player while he was playing a televised game. it was horrible.
14:50 i died
So did she
"un imbécile" at 5:22 is a cuss word which means "a dumbass"
I didn’t catch that bloody needle the first time but after watching ep 4 I realized what it was
- Where are the kids?
- Kids?
- The ones in the basement...
- Well, apparently in the basement
whole ice skating scene just turned into Final Destination
If you think antony is a demon in this episode you are NOT ready for the next episode 💀💀
I like how Mothers milk knew A-Train would switch cause bro used to work with misunderstood black kids in season 1 and help them integrate back into society
Homelander to Ryan : "I gave you everything that I ever wanted"
The fear of homelander is the beginning of wisdom
@JEMAVANCENA I haven’t read the comics anyway 😩
I love that you all answered 'yes' @4:30 😂
Just give Anthony his Emmy or Oscar already, you can feel the tension when he shows up or speaks.
Vought on ice you could say got slashed for cancelling..
That on the table was a thing for Lobotomise someone. Anthony Starr deserved so manny emmys, specially for episode 4
I'm pretty sure the octopus is voiced my Tilda Swinton(the ancient one from Doc Strange)
You're right. Tilda is voicing the female octopus.
Luca screaming BOMBACLAT sent me😂😂😂💀
If you constantly have to tell the group of people you're in charge/their boss/the C.O then that ultimately means none of them sees you as a leader and has faith in your ability at leading. Kinda like the whole "If you have to tell people you're the king, you're no king"
frenchie and kimiko flipping him off. the disrespect. 😄
With everything going on that's crazy its kinda amazing to see Butcher not doing the mess up things we expect him too... changing for the better type ish
Sage legit lobotomized herself to be more "calm" , they say smart people are sad ( which we kinda saw in the last 2 EPs) and she did that to herself , watching dumb movies , having sex with Deep etc.
Cameron Crovetti, the kid who plays Ryan is doing a tremendous job. Most kid actors do too much sometimes but he is a perfect cast.
20:22 yeah bruh an electrical fire lazered me in half?!?!?!
Tilda Swinton as the octopus va is crazy 😂
5:35 Bob does know Vic is a supe, he’s working with the CIA and The Boys to get rid of her
