Infiniti has huge aftermarket support when it comes to exterior and performance and interior stuff you can literally make these cars just as good as cars way more expensive we have endless aftermarket support
Genuine fax though. I've seen the Nissan Altima ads where it's like "drive in sport mode," and I'm like "Is it a CVT? Well then, sport mode does not exist."
“reliable” is a hard word to match with the q50 imo especially if you’re buying a used one with 60-70k+ miles. this used to be a car that was sold in bulk when it first came out in 2013-2014 and most people leased it. it’s pretty difficult to see a q50 nowadays that doesn’t have at least 5k miles left on the turbos because consumers never knew how to take care of it. it definitely is an amazing car but it is also not “reliable” in a sense when most common issues with this car are blown turbos and/or massive carbon build up. however if you find the rare q50 that has been really well taken care of it definitely is a bang for your buck 👍 P.S. if you’re looking to buy a q50 please for the love of god get an oil catch can.
mark DUDE I LOVE YOUR VIDEO BUT COME ON MAN AS AJEWISH PEARSON HOW IS GRADPARENTS KILLED BY THIS DUDE HOW YOU PUT PIC OF HIM IN THIS VIDEO IS DISSAPOINTING
Currently looking for a 2015 3.7 Q50S. I plan on doing a 2019 face lift(bumpers and lights) and a manual swap. The 370Z manual trans in this thing and FBO with E85 with the 3.7 you can make 350hp to the rear wheels. Slap a Z1 LSD diff in it with solid diff mounts and you got yourself a nice lil slider that will be very reliable while pumping out that 350hp.
The 3.0t motor it’s self is reliable lol don’t be that typical guy it’s only weak point was the turbos but mainly for owners who don’t know how to do maintenance my fbo redsport has been nothing but reliable to me and I’ve had a 3.7 as well I’ve been on the same motor for 4 years and only changed my turbos once at 70k miles which was expected cause no turbo last forever especially when you are going to tune the car, but once you throw some z1 turbos on the vr30 it’s way more reliable cause the turbos just flow so much better and they are designed wayyy better then oem not to mention we are getting 1000whp+ out or 3.0t’s and the platform will get even better I mean you can make 700-780who on stock motor and trans on z1 turbos and the car can still be reliable
Very nice car...one of the two Infinity's worth buying. The other is the G37. Every other car is ugly as sin and grossly outclassed. It's not like Acura or Lexus, where almost all of their models are great cars. But Nissan's known (or should be known) for mostly putting out misses (cough cough CVT, cough cough cheaply made).
I drive a 2008 Infiniti G35x Sport, automatic with oem paddles. It’s a good mix of being able to bang gears but the computer still is protecting you. At the end of the day if you’re not gonna put thousands of dollars into it, a stock 370z like my buddies is just gonna beat you anyway so just enjoy the good mix of everything that Infiniti cars provide. And no I’m not a takeover kid, I don’t associate with my community 😂
I have a 2017 q50 premium with the 3.0t and it is a blast to drive and i agree the 3.7 is the way to go for reliability but turbos are just too much fun
I just bought a 2019 Q50 with 36,000 miles and I absolutely LOVE this car. I bought it because I'm an old man now and I guess this is my mid-(end)-life crisis 🤣 It is a great car.
I’ve owned mine for over 3 years, AWD Q60 RS & absolutely love it. It’s been extremely reliable & hasn’t skipped a beat after 75k miles thankfully. Proper care & maintenance, been FBO for over 55k miles & running 🍒🙏
These sold awfully in the UK, they built it here with a 2.1 (OM351) Diesel engine and a 3.5 Hybrid here, we're used to Nissan as a brand and Skylines, so when they decided to sell the next generation as a Infinity Q50, it sold awfully, you can pickup a 2016-2018 with the diesel engine for under 7k with less then 60k miles, and just dress it up, sadly we never got the 2.0turbo apart from in the Q60, which sold awfully. And I dont think the 3.0T is available unless you're importing a True JDM Skyline which we can do but costs a fair bit.
I absolutely love my q50 3.0t. I wish they put better turbos on them but that must mean they wanted me to install big VRX70 ball bearing turbos! They know me so well lol.
Great job youngster!!! These may take time but you can see the work you put in! Keep grinding. I'm here since real early, and I'm gonna be here on the day to say congratulations when you hit a milli!!! Just play lil Wayne a milli as your song of the day.
Wrong info: The 2.0 inline four was not a Mercedes motor. This was a coop with Mercedes, but the engine was built in Nissan's Decherd TN plant. The engine was tuned to have less HP for Infiniti and more for the Mercedes applications.
It was developed/designed by Daimler who owns Mercedes…… it’s just assembled in TN … it’s used in the C class Mercedes too … so yes it’s a Mercedes motor
@@ISTVAN1127 I own the product and hire you to put it together …. I still own the product/patent. You have to put it together the way I tell you to bc I own it. My name is still on it. I’m just allowing you to use my motor in your chassis.

Lmaooo kinda true tbh

yeah def not as “reliable” as people say especially on 3.0 but still more than BMW and Mercedes
I'm looking to get an infiniti idk what route to go for a daily . Of course I want to mod it as I go but idk if the 3.7 is better than the 3.0t
