Thanks I am an old Vietnam vet and not the best gaming player. I watched your guide and I think I am playing much better. I am only playing against Bots for now until I get better but in my 3rd match got compliments for protecting my shipmates from enemy torpedo and dive bombers. I also get in a few bombing runs after learning how to attack from bow to stern instead of coming from port or starboard. Thanks again your video is very helpful.

Hey I was playing as a carrier and I couldn’t even get the z key to get me to that controllable mini map
Carriers were recently reworked, you can find newer guides that show these new mechanics elsewhere

You talk about an advanced carrier guide... but i can't find it on your channel?
This is the only video so far that has been useful, and i create a Training room to practice and go back and forth between the video and the game, i tell you its gonna take a bit to get the hang of micromanaging the CV, and that is why i dont say nothing when playing and a cv is on team, its Difficult, least when ur first starting out CV's...

I tried to do what you were talking about and I didn't start in the mode that you mentioned. I was in the view like all there other ships and I couldn't do auto pilot my squadrons. However, I did try to do it in training mode. What say you?

Loved the guide, terrific explantions. But being a noob to the CV world, there was something missed that I need to learn. I have all the airplane stuff pretty much under control, and see how to use certain views after your tutorial, but when I am being attacked, how do I switch views and use the 4 guns to fire back lol ? I keep getting shot at and no way to retaliate, especially if all my planes are gone (USS Langley) Please let me know, appreciated
Thank you for the guide, I just got my first CV and will let you know how it goes! One suggestion, try not to move your mouse all over the place randomly. I know we all do it and it's probably not intentional, but it can be a tad distracting.
But this is alot harder in Mobile Blitz game like seriously, Swipes are in accurate, most of the times I lose the bombing shots and Torpedo shots alot in mobile, anyway to make the targeting easier in WoWB

well your in luck you should do a youtube search for new carrier gameplay world of warships cause they are changing the way CVs work it will no longer be a RTS thing like this video shows you should check it out m8

Excellent narration. Perfect setup, intro description, go back over the instruction again, then put it in practice. Explanation of the key strokes etc.

do you have to manually tell your planes to land and re-arm?
I only tried cv's once a few months back and got so annoyed that after dropping my planes just circled my ship and wouldn't land I never tried them again. Might have to give it another try after watching this! Good guide!
by default as soon as your planes drop the bombs or torps they head back to the CV to land and rearm and then u just need to relaunch them again....if you ever do want to land your planes though you just select the squad and hit F and they will land and once on the carrier hit F again to relaunch them again

How is that possible in mid to up tiers then both hiryu t7 fighting each other’s with 2sq vs 3 (all fighters) can conclude by obliteration of my 3sq in less of 2secs without any losses in his both sq ?! And I am support carrier improvement, favorizing fighters modules, with lvl10 capt. How is that possible? The guy told me in tchat it was alt+right clic, but that’s just like for anyships to focus AA on a specific squadron or for fighters to focus on a specific squadron, that’s not supposed to give attack bonuses right ? How did he succeed to THREE TIMES in same game obliterate my wing of 3sq in few secs with less of 2fighters killed per each of 3 waves ? It was just surreal... cheating is that possible ? I suppose not but it was such insane... or lvl20 capt maybe ? never had a case like that and i play quite good with CVs, i did good perfs between t4 to t7... how can my cv focusing on support and air superiority can be slaughtered like that with 50% fighters more than him and 3 times following ? First I thought Atlanta was unspoted nearby, but both last fights, I am sure there was no ships around able to give him AA support during our dogfight, soooo... 🤔 any explanations ?

Honestly it seems like a pretty good guide on how to use the carrier's but the only problem is that everyone that just started playing the game and getting into the carriers are going to start at a tier 4 carrier. So maybe a video having one of the 2 tier 4 carriers would of been nice. But besides that point it seems pretty decent of an explanation on hoe to use carriers.
He mainly did it this way so he could explain both manual and automatic drops. It has the advantage that it's future-proof in case WG ever reintroduces manual drops for low-tier carriers. Personally I think the best thing to do would be take manual drop away from everybody; it might level the CV playing field a little, and reduce the inborn advantage of those who are particularly good at multitasking.
How do you show all the planes in the squadron in the air because it only shows 1 plane

Didn't see anything here on what captian skills to take but i did stop early I just saw no skill when an scanned over, think ill put it on watch later for when i reach tier 6 as I'm new to world of warships. I don't like the no manual drop option though, is there away i can drop torps blind down a pass or straight to halt an enemy advance? Also at what range is my secondary guns effective at? are they at all effective? by that I mean against DDs as i know ill lose to anything bigger.
your secondary guns will not be effective on any cv at any tier ..you may get lucky once or twice but nope they are not effective....cv capt skills are the most basic...make sure you have torp acceleration and make sure you have the +1 fighter +1 dive bomber skill ...everything else is pretty easy to tell what to get ...I can not remember if i went over capt skills or not in the video

its in the stock game now ..so under where you select the battle type random co op etc at the bottom will be a button that says training...just click that and it will let you make a training room make sure to check the boxes at the bottom of the training room if you want the bots moving or sitting still or if u want them moving and shooting

When I spawn in the Langley, I don’t get the whole map thing. It spawns me like every other ship in the game

I use a laptop, but alt. just shows the name and health of enemy ships. How do I manual drop?

That's what manual drops do, it narrows the spread of torps and bombs but you have to determine the lead. Since IV and V can't use it anymore, it's just tough luck I guess
The trick to attacking without losing your planes is to pick on lone targets as much as possible, and send your bombers in en masse. Only a handful of ships can singlehandedly fend off your entire airwing by themselves. You'll lose a few planes, sure - but you'll also tear a big chunk off of the poor guy they swarmed. Which is the entire point; you've got a hangar full of spare planes, but spare hit points are hard to come by.

can someone explain to me why my AA planes don't do damage to other AA planes of same class when in 1v1 fight? even if they not on my tail and its face to face fight?
what do you mean by AA plane? do you mean fighters?
I assume he means fighters.
Is it something about Japanese CV vs American CV? Most times, my Japanese craft get destroyed quickly in any confrontation with little damage to the enemy..
