Yep, definitely a good value. Thanks, John I've been saving up for one for my belt. Didn't have enough quite yet but then you release this and I might as well pull the trigger now IFAK is invaluable when you need it.
I post this on every IFAK video I remember to. If youre not in a warzone with people who have already been screened and denied over diabetes... you need glucose gel in your med kit. Glucose gel comes in packets with 15g of glucose. 15g of glucose is the suggested dosage for hypoglycemic diabetic shock. And gel (unlike tablets) can be administered to an unconscious patient. Add glucose gel packets to your med kit. You will be around more diabetics than GSWs anywhere outside the military.
Although I've got the blue force gear I've had on my belt for a while but man the tq and shears is very tempting to switch over, definitely telling my friends to get this
From a Navy Corpsman perspective, smaller isn't better. This kit, like many others that are taking the " micro " approach, is better than nothing. But it leaves no room for error, and can easily be lacking in a severe bleed [ penetrating trauma ]. Yes, the IFAK is a one person kit, and the wounded individual should have his own, to be used by YOU on HIM. That said, there may be more than one hole, and that requires more than one item of gauze for packing and a covering dressing. Imagine the look on the face of the man you're providing aid to, when he discovers that you can't plug that second bleed in an opposing extremity because the kit you or he has is the smallest kit known to mankind. Just my 2 cents worth.
One thing you made me realize, I am right hand dominant, but lazy eyed on my right side so I shoot left handed, I can keep most stuff right handed and use my dominant hand but still shoot in an emergency. I have been doing this but never realized the shooting part.
Nice price and one of the best I have seen. I’ll buy one but gray would be nice but I know not everyone likes gray. No matter ordering now. Bravo team Warrior Poet Society.

Any kit is better than no kit. But I prefer USA manufactured products. Refuge Medical small of the back (SOB) kits are still my go to for belt line IFAKs, but this kit does have nice features.
American made, assembled, or manufactured in the US? Pouch and components and brand of tourniquet? If it is actually all made in the US and not just put together here then I will give you kudos for it. If it's just assembled here and the pal just made in Vietnam and the tourniquet is not TCCC rated, then that is important too.
@@WarriorPoetSociety Don't get me wrong. I appreciate John and the channel and everything you guys do and I think the kit has nice features like the shears pulling out the pack. Once again I like WPS but these days I'm willing to pay more when I know that something is made by American workers. It is something that's important.
I have an HSGI bleeder/blowout pouch and it works pretty well for me. I have a TQ, Israeli bandage, scissors, and a bunch of large pieces of gauze in a silicone bag. Everything in the pouch is in water-proof packaging. I also have a complimentary rip-away pouch full of a bunch of stuff from another Israeli bandage and TQ to bandaids and mole skin. That is mounted on a leg rig for hunting/camping/hiking so it's always on me. But eventually I plan to throw it on a Shaw Concepts plate carrier pack.
Just an update, I have had mine for like 2 months and I like it a lot so far. I think the thing I like best about it is the slim design so it doesn't bother me while sitting in a chair or a vehicle. Nothing like having the gear you need on you and it doesn't make you uncomfortable, that is a win win if you ask me.
a bit of feedback: would like the TQ to come out when the kit is pulled. economy of movement, especially when self treating a gunshot wound. also would like the pull tab opposite the scissors to be easier to grab, maybe a hole for fingers or something. blood can make things slippery.
I just got the kit in today. Looks great!. John, would you do a short video on how to fold a load the tourniquet? I got it put together, but it isn't near as flat looking as yours is. Thanks.
I think I prefer the better retention of the refuge SOB on my belt. My SOB is flanked by shears and a tq in their own holsters. I may pick one of these up for the wife.

Love the concept ! ! ! Even double checked site. Just wished that it was a little bigger with an Israeli bandage & a quick clot packing. I'll be keeping my eyes open. Thanks for sharing.
product looks great i love seeing innovation in this community. although i did have the thought of when the Velcro gets wet will it tear away easier, causing you to have a yard sale of your medical when u don't intend on it.
Should have left an opening in the middle of the belt loop option to make it practical for use with with a 2 belt system so the hook and loop can mate up to avoid sag.
Mfw I unironically keep contact solution in my home, car+camping, and work med kits..... At least it's not in my on person med kit as well lol. Only takes one flying ant stinging you in the eye because of driving with the jeep top down to wish for it 😅
got one in black. the WPS logo is black too, not gray like the website pics show.. it needs a velcro loop panel for a patch since theres no noticeable markings to identify it as a medical pouch. the pull-tab opposite the shears is hard to grasp. maybe a hole to put a finger through would be better.. also, the closure flaps on the inner clamshell could be a little longer. i had to use a piece of velcro one wrap to lengthen the velcro closure to barely fit a pretty basic contents list.
i did however just barely manage to fit: -SOF Tourniquet (the CAT can only be pulled out to one side) -1 fine point Sharpie (through the top of the malice clips behind the TQ) -NAR Trauma Shears then inside: -1 pair nitrile gloves -antiseptic wipes -1 Quick Clot Combat Gauze -1 NAR Emergency Trauma Dressing 6” -2 Hyfin Compact Vented Chest Seals -1 SWAT-T tourniquet -1 NAR Hypothermia Wrap i couldnt fit my flat-rolled duct tape. maybe i can fit some flat strips of Frog Tape. gotta get some and see..
We will see cause I love using a dangler for an ifak.. aglite specifically over about any others.. but let’s see if this is the wow factor you make it as.. Ok love the thinness of this.. love the way the shears are the pull tab.. but my complaint is.. you need real gauze for packing something you can’t fix with a tq or seal with a chest seal.. there isn’t enough room in this for a true full package gauze for packing or if you place it in there it’s going to be a lot thicker.. At least the pricing is on point.. I’ll keep my dangler but this does make a good case for a solid first line alternative even if it’s lacking in the one major item.. that small gauze isn’t gonna be enough for a gut wound.. it will work for some things but not all.. maybe some celox and non adhesive pads which would easily fit can fill some of this roll? (Don’t shoot me medics and we doctors I know the complications that celox give you on the back end and I advocate against its use) but for something like this I see no other way to fulfill that missing piece..
One of these on your backpack, a WPS Ankle Trauma Kit on your ankle, and a reliable 9mm in an accessible, concealed spot on your body. Thanks, John, and I am glad to see the beard is back; it gives me hope for humanity after all. LoL 😂
Into was funny but there nothing wrong with the training color tourniquet in case anyone was wondering. All it does is signify that the tourniquet could have potentially been used already.
Yep, hoping the loop of the scissors which is in located at the spot protruding from the torso with in that direction which neither can take eyes on nor easy to manage won't make the whole med kit be hooked away or tangled by whatever in field or narrowed alley with complicated sundries without even noticing or struggling dragging it out. Isn't that good to just wear your scissors at some spot which cling to your lineaments or the other "old fashioned"(yet being classic for good reasons) place easy to manipulate?
I'm going to carry contact solution from now on. Thank you, John!
You can always use it as a back up weapon.

Thanks for creating a solution to multiple “hobby’s” for us in one!
I was considering the GBRS or the Haley strategic med kit but this by far blows both of them out the water, will be ordering mine soon!
I love how the dead soldier was having a hard time not smiling.
Got mine and I love how small and comfy it is. The American way baby!
Ingenious. I just bought the TREX kit..... damn it!! I just realized where I knew you from.... we went to high school together.
Great kit and idea!! Wife and I ordered two at the end of last week and they arrived yesterday. We bought both the kit with the med contents and I have just completed putting them together ( I did add Combat Gauze to both). Great piece of kit!! Hope that we never need it, but we do have it now, we have had the training and hope to meet up with you at one of your training courses soon. Stay safe and healthy & Check 6!!
Wow, I just looked this dude up, and he is credited with recording 32 bee species in Maine, and also demonstrating that bees can see in col9or. This man is not only a great safety/training instructor, he's also very intelligent.
Went to purchase and it already is sold out! Well done
Now that looks like a GREAT piece of kit! I've sent the link to all of my guys.
My god this guy is good at what he does.
Looks great but what about the shears getting hooked on something and pulling out?
You can set your retention as tight as you dare. Also, the scissors are behind the kit so they are pretty close to the body
They are back in stock as of now. Just ordered mine!
Should have left an opening in the middle of the belt loop option to make it practical for use with with a 2 belt system so the hook and loop can mate up to avoid sag.
Ifaking learned alot from your video pvt Lovell, thank you
I prefer a default med kit design. Where kit is attached to another side with velcro and fixed or reinforced with a fastex clip.
Run Warrior Poet ankle kit. It prints, but nobody has ever said a word. After a couple of days, I don't even notice it.
Mfw I unironically keep contact solution in my home, car+camping, and work med kits..... At least it's not in my on person med kit as well lol. Only takes one flying ant stinging you in the eye because of driving with the jeep top down to wish for it 😅
Clicked because of the title, def wasn't disappointed🤣🤣🤣 10/10
Thanks John! Purchased a complete kit. Love it! Hope I never have to use it.
got one in black. the WPS logo is black too, not gray like the website pics show.. it needs a velcro loop panel for a patch since theres no noticeable markings to identify it as a medical pouch.
the pull-tab opposite the shears is hard to grasp. maybe a hole to put a finger through would be better..
also, the closure flaps on the inner clamshell could be a little longer. i had to use a piece of velcro one wrap to lengthen the velcro closure to barely fit a pretty basic contents list.
i did however just barely manage to fit:
-SOF Tourniquet (the CAT can only be pulled out to one side)
-1 fine point Sharpie (through the top of the malice clips behind the TQ)
-NAR Trauma Shears
then inside:
-1 pair nitrile gloves
-antiseptic wipes
-1 Quick Clot Combat Gauze
-1 NAR Emergency Trauma Dressing 6”
-2 Hyfin Compact Vented Chest Seals
-1 SWAT-T tourniquet
-1 NAR Hypothermia Wrap
i couldnt fit my flat-rolled duct tape. maybe i can fit some flat strips of Frog Tape. gotta get some and see..
You guys. CRACK ME UP! 😂😂😂
That intro was too funny!!! Not sure it was worth shaving the beard, but good job being committed to the cause!
One of these on your backpack, a WPS Ankle Trauma Kit on your ankle, and a reliable 9mm in an accessible, concealed spot on your body. Thanks, John, and I am glad to see the beard is back; it gives me hope for humanity after all. LoL 😂
Hmmm. I found a kit like that hanging in a tree . Now I know how it got there .
