And the number one most important thing in your kit: Routine! When i go to sleep i always fold my clothes in a specific way and always put them in the same way. I can put them on in a couple of seconds even in total darkness. When i sit up in the bed i can place my hand on my clothes. This is especially important if you`re in a hotel for example. If there`s a fire you have your clothes on in a couple of seconds. Very important seconds!
Although I'm very used to getting up in the middle of the night and having to redress quickly as a retired firefighter, I go to bed in clothes I can just get up & go in. All I need is a jacket in cool weather.
Great idea for closet! I think I now have a kit-bag in every room of the house now based on all the preppin’ videos I watch from creators. Expensive, but I’m so frosty.
Very cool bag brother! Mine is a Maxpedition "Fatboy" which has a separate CC compartment and a holster w/spare mag loop. Rather than a home invasion bag though, I use mine as a "get home bag". It carries everything I would (sans clothing) need for 48hrs and I carry it in my truck with me.
I made a similar bag a few years ago, just maybe 1/4 the price. Condor sling bag, Glock combat knife, Glock 17 with all it's mags, blowout kit, couple flashlights, flex cuffs. I bring the whole bag when I go shooting and have my teens practice with it.
Nice setup, just a recommendation, I always carry my flashlights bezel down. With an adrenal dump and fine motor skills lacking you may accidentally activate the light when trying to grab it and blind yourself.
I like the idea of ear protection however I wouldn’t want to limit my ability to hear whats going on around me. Sure for coyotes by all means take the time to put them on. But If I have to defend my family from someone breaking into my home I want every single advantage I can get.
I appreciate your preparedness. I for one do not want a bag to dig through to get to a firearm and flashlight in the dark. I won't reveal information about my living situation or other details on social media.
Shoes should ALWAYS be under your bed. Easy to slip on to exit during fire/earthquake. Most earthquake injuries are foot cuts from broken glass. Clothes should be hanging on your mens valet stand. Include a hat, and glasses if necessary. Coat/shirt of choice should have the armor inset if that is your expected experience. Yes, for the available night vision device. Rely and verify on your camera system BEFORE any inside repositioning.
I have a similar setup but my system is all mounted on a Battle Belt. Weapon, Mags, knife, IFAK, light, Dump Pouch... all accessible with one click at the waist. I do like the trauma plate you keep in your bag. That's clever. I have a level 4 setup from SafeLife but that takes a few extra seconds to put on.
I have a ground throw in my survival bag that's got a mylar blanket sewn in between for thermal scopes. It could easily be turned into a cloak which i might.
Hey Cody, thanks for putting this up man. I had a question for you a while back and to be honest I completely forgot about it and I think you even reached out to me. Which i appreciate on your part ,btw. I was wondering if this was the same way that you connected your holster to your FUPA? Also, thanks for all the great content and entertainment over the years bro.
How exactly does one use that shield and a firearm? It seems like you have to choose one or the other and transitioning between them would be slow and cumbersome.
Cody, how are you rigging the POV shots in this video? It's a nice wide angle and very well stabilized. Guessing it's your iphone but I'd like more details. Thanks.
So do you put your hearing protection on before you need to fire off some rounds? Not sure about a light on your firearm especially when you have the home court advantage. Gives your opponent a nice target.
Yep, weapon mounted light AND 2ND LIGHT FOR "NORMAL" LOOKING AROUND. I've had to remind & correct some cops about this, when i was still doing that work.
hey, wranglerstar. now lets talk. I took your little endorsement, of MAgic shoes, and while im not UNsatisfied, i mean they hold up pretty good. i build gunite swiming pools, you cant walk on rebar in them slippers my dude. no u cannot. i still love ya though.
personal opinion but i feel like the med kit should be behind the armor panel, as it is now i feel if you were unfortunate enough to take any shots to the chest it could potentially render a lot of your medical equipment useless
Very nice set up but unessential here in Australia. Theres a huntsman spider 🕷in my lounge room the size of my hand that'll scare off any wanna be intruders.
I recently made something similar to this up but its not something i would take outside ur property. Its strictly a home defense setup. I got a INVRT Bandoleer Platform i added a pistol mag, AR mag, and i added a kydex holster for my HD pistol. There is also a tourniquet on there
With Firearm that's an Awful Expensive side table grab... BAHAHA !!!! Average people need Far Less to Actually Protect their Family. You should come out East and see how its Really Done, we don't have some Snooty Holywood Grab. LMAO Seems you've lost your touch. Went from sharing Basic Homesteading Practices , to a Flashy , High Dollar , RUclips Fortune , " Better than ". Which Doesn't involve a Small Fortune to " Get the Job Done ". You,ve gone above the reach of the Everyday Working Man , to Fairyland. I'm OUT. .
Why can't you be happy for a guy who is doing well for himself? Why do some people in the prepping/ homesteading space want to see their neighbors broke and struggling? I'll never understand.

What shoes are those in the bedside drawer?

Grenades, it's missing flash bangs & the clacker pre-connected to the claymore mines that should be prepositioned around the house & yard.
2 vids one day 😮
If I were relegated to a closet, I would want it to look like Cody's. LOL
Ask for a tutorial
That Shinenyx is 1,000% next level... pricey, but the capabilities are phenomenal.
Finally I get my Wranglerstar fix.... I'm so glad you guys are feeling so much better. Missed you brother. Be safe.
Great idea for closet!

Prayer's !!! I Sleep better with that under my pillow !!!
GOD BLESS !!!
All my best lights are Surefire and I have everyone I’ve ever bought and they all work to this day.

Thank you for sharing Cody :)
Ayeee I see you with the spice bomb extreme in the back. A man of great taste

Great content. Glad you’re back

The new camera POV is sweet. Like I'm playing Counter Strike lol. Great info Cody , thanks bud!
Voting for seeing level 2.
How to keep the Sweet Loaf from investigating it?
Dang, I thought you were going to tell us how to prepare for a home invasion. And all I got was a video on defense.
East Coast man just keeps a shotgun under the bed so he doesn't need a separate rig to fight his way to the long gun.
Going overboard with these kits
Yea, it's MEGA over the top!
@@wranglerstar Not over the top just prepared for what is coming, Australia is not far behind.
Better to have and not need, than need and not have. Your mileage may vary.
@@wranglerstar Not overboard at all. Based on your needs, not anyone else's.
I like the idea of ear protection however I wouldn’t want to limit my ability to hear whats going on around me. Sure for coyotes by all means take the time to put them on. But If I have to defend my family from someone breaking into my home I want every single advantage I can get.
Plot twist, this is actually for carrying out home invasions
Great set up! Is that a SOE ear pro case?
Tape, a knife, a ski mask. Wait... That's not the home invasion kit you were talking about?
I appreciate your preparedness. I for one do not want a bag to dig through to get to a firearm and flashlight in the dark. I won't reveal information about my living situation or other details on social media.
It's not his actual house.

Thanks for sharing. What case is that for your ear muffs? I can only find hard shell cases.

Quick draw !
@@scottmcintosh2988 Ha!! I don't know about that!
The worst thing about wranglerstar videos is that they end. Realy nice video cody god blless you
The holster also keeps the trigger covered... something you'll want when reaching into the bag looking for the handle....
Wranglerstar Family ♥♥♥♥♥👑👑👑👑👑 Kitties ♥♥♥♥♥treats and tummy rubs. Tonka sends a friendly tail wag and a sniff to his fellow furry friends.
Another great video. God bless you 🙏
I don't think I'm going to be worried about ear muffs besides my bed. C'mon!
I was expecting a shovel and a bag of barn lime to be included.
😂
Do you recommend any implements to make entry or maybe a dump pouch to scoop up any exposed valuables during the home invasion?
I have a ground throw in my survival bag that's got a mylar blanket sewn in between for thermal scopes. It could easily be turned into a cloak which i might.
One big advert under the guise of of a home invasion kit.

what are those shoes in your bedside table with the zippers

Our dude casually flexing with the spice bomb cologne!

Thanks nice video god bless
I would like your view on how handle bedside guns with small kids in the house . Not a critizism, I want to know.
Teach them from an early age, like a responsible adult.
If you've taught your kids about guns but are still worried you could put a small shelf well out of their reach and keep the pistol there.
What’s in the second bag?
What happened to just keeping your CCW under your pillow, and a rifle the closet?
You forgot the tactical iPad mount and Vitamix in the dump pouch.
Could you add a link or give brand and model of thermal scope? Thanks
We are blessed. ❤
What’s the knife brand/model? Ridge runner is the store, but interested in the specific knife.
Why you shoot the coyote?
Poor Wiley Coyote 😂
Yep, weapon mounted light AND 2ND LIGHT FOR "NORMAL" LOOKING AROUND.

Extended mag releases were made for gamer guns, not meant for carry guns.
Caltrops
What a weirdo... not even the best warriors are this paranoid.
Living in the mountains of southern West Virginia - no need. Oregon... well...
War Band? Who is that?
I just have my benelli m4 and federal buck 4

The med kit is for the courts,it shows the intent of compassion for the bad guy. The rest of the kit including thermal say otherwise
sigh.......
I thought you lived in OR?

This is the second video recommending adding a flashlight your firearm.
It has one. What are you talking about?
@ sorry i took it as a sign that I should add a flashlight to my firearm. That’s what I’m talking about!
@steffiejoe oh I get it, you are saying this is the second video of his recommending it.
