    DEODORANT INGREDIENTS! 2 parts arrowroot powder : 2-2.25 parts baking soda : 1 part coconut oil + a couple drops of your fave essential oil (I like lavender). Mix well until it is a paste. Store in a glass jar. To apply mix about 1 tsp of paste with 1/4-1/2 tsp Shea butter and rub under arms 🌸

      Heey, Jenné :) , does anyone of these ingredients actually close (to some degree) the pores, to prevent the sweating...or the deodorant is simply for the scent? thank you!!! ♥ ps: I love all your outfits in this morning !!!! ;)

      Thank you for making homemade deodorant "acceptable." I've been making my own deodorant using our homemade shea butter as a "base" for years because of severe allergies/sensitivities, but I've always been embarrassed to mention it. You've helped me embrace my uniqueness (and perhaps perfect my blend)...

      Kirali The arrowroot keeps you dry, but doesn't prevent sweating as far as I know. Good luck!!

      You never want to be using products that stop your sweating because that is so bad for your body. However, the deodorant she has mentioned above is amazing for eliminating the smell. Trust me, it's the best. The only thing I found is that its so harsh on my skin and makes it all red, so mixing it with shea butter like she mentioned is definitely the way to go. If you want, you can look up on my blog (www.buoyantseas.com) for a recipe that is very similar to hers. If you take my recipe and "discard" one third of it and replace it with shea butter, it would work out amazingly.

    whether I have work or school or not, even on just a day off, I still am almost never excited to get out of bed. I'm trying to become more of a morning person, but it's very much a work in progress. I can tell you what I'm DEFINITELY inspired by though.... that "BOY BYE" shirt 😜 I need one!

      Yo girl! Start with guided meditations if you're not sure where to begin. Or, close your eyes, free your mind, open your heart and visualize someone's face or a place etc... that lights you up. Focus on that. Let all your thoughts go, if thoughts pop up, that's cool, but just view them as passing by, don't focus on them.

    My morning routine: snooze my alarm multiple times until I'm about to be late, check my phone, make tea in a rush and put it in a travel mug, eat something already made because I have no time to make something, grab my bag and run to my car for work lol. I have a very healthy morning routine clearly

      Cooper Necole...they have two versions of it. the pill form and the liquid form(has a nasty taste at first tho)..i take the vegetarian capsules at nite and in the morning...i sleep great. u can look up reviews on black seed on youtube and check out the pros and cons.

    What a breath of fresh air you are, I am so glad I stumbled upon your channel. I am trying to build a business from home and to make sure I leave the house everyday I go feed some street cats, it's a 25 min walk each way but I walk along the seafront with listen to a talk show to help online business or just think out my problems.

    If you put your soy milk in a bottle or jar and shake it vigorously you will make it frothy and get a little exercise in the deal... works a treat... :)

    I love that you eat toast with chocolate and banana, and drink coffee in the morning. I do the same but I always feel "unhealthy" when I see other vegan vlogers that live with just a smoothie or a juice. That's very nice but doesn't make me happy ;)

      I warm an everything bagel from trader Joe's and schmear avocado to spread, then I top with sliced tomato. I season with lime, salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes. Then I drink coffee with vanilla almond creamer. Every morning, it's so delicious!!!

    My morning routine is actually pretty similar! Except I pray and meditate on the Word of God. But everything is else is about the same even down to the way you make your coffee, lol. Oh and I loooove taking walks!

    My morning routines when I'm at school are really simple. I often wake up and go to the bathroom (brush teeth, wash face, clean nose piercing), and then I pick out my clothes and go to the dining hall for often 1hr+ and just sip tea, eat lots of fruit + oats + whatever else, I finish whatever homework I have, and I chat with my friends or just listen to good music while I sit there. The walk to the dining hall is also one of my favorite parts, since my campus is so scenic! I love it! Loved you video as well!

    Love your videos! I wake up at 6:00 am. First thing drinking water with ginger and lemon. Next cuddle time with my dog, then I bathed and drive to the office. At the office I have breakfast: toasted Exekiel bread with grated carrots, green peppers, tomatoes, sharp cheddar cheese and cranberries! Yum!

    I did this morning routine for the majority of my days in a year and it was the best thing I could have ever done. It helped my mental health so much it's crazy. I fell out of it bc I've been lazier lately but I'm trying to reincorporate it, but here it is:
    wake up at 5:25
    15 minutes exercise or yoga
    1 hour 30 minutes eating breakfast, drinking coffee, and listening to an audiobook
    10 minutes meditation
    55 minutes being outside (I'd usually write in my journal or read poetry but you can do whatever)
    45 minutes creative writing
    If reading and writing aren't your thing, then I'd go for other things that you enjoy that wake up your mind in a creative way, because working your brain always makes you more happy. For example, maybe you could listen to a space podcast and draw, or play guitar, or make crafts etc.

    People have so many opinions about drinking water temperature 😂. Some people argue hot water is healthy, others argue cold is healthier, and then some argue room temperature is the perfect solution.

      I would not say they are crazy, just very passionate about stopping animal abuse and slaughter and stating what they believe is wrong without compromising that message for the comfort of others (in this case, meat eaters). this may come off as "demonizing" to some but hey, we all vibe with different approaches and that's okay. =)

      treating people who dont condone severe animal abuse and animal agriculture and its consequences as if theyre crazy is very hypocritical.
      while there is a difference between being unnecessarily aggressive and being passionate, can you really blame a vegan for being frustrated when people still condone animal abuse in 2017?
      i think the rhetoric behind veganism is fine. even the "hostile" rhetoric.

      LIN JONES i know that, but the people who claim to love animals but eat animal meat are being cognitively dissonant. so i can understand how a vegan would become frustrated at that sort of willful ignorance, especially when all the facts are publicly presented.
      love would be great! but in a healthy relationship, to recieve love, you have to show it in return.

      clem I think it is important for everyone to accept that we are all on our own individual journey. Eating meat doesnt make you a bad person, and most vegans have been meat eaters anyway. Life is filled with dillemmas. Fx we could all live on oat, live in a tent and send the money we would have spent to developing countries and safe lives. But most of us dont do that. I try to limit my meat consumption and only buy free range stuff, but I havent always done that. I am drawn to vegan channels and maybe I will transition some day. One thing I do know is that it will not be the condemning vegans who will make me make that choice but channels like this one, Simnet Nutrition and So True Q. Positive channels with positive people who show that being a vegan can be an awesome thing and not the condemning type. Peace :-)

      learn about veganism and maybe youll be a "crazy vegan" too lmao its way more than animal abuse, its about stopping humans from going extinct or engaging in climate wars. which is more important than your precious feelings + meal preference... by far. trust me, no one is demonizing you. LOL

    I have a vary similar morning routine- yoga , meditation and of course some nice breakfast.Also,finding it wary interesting , after my yoga , to read something about the meaning and history of yoga.One of the best book on this topic is "The Bhagavat gita as it is".Thank you, for such a positive video.

    GORGEOUS!! I'm currently between jobs (quite literally)....so I've been lucky enough to be able to get into the habit of a similar routine! Wake up, lemon water, shower, hot herbal tea/coffee, give and receive love from my animal family, meditation, yoga, and kick ass the rest of the day!     Subscribed IMMEDIATELY! This is the EXACT routine I've been trying to create for myself down to the DIY deodorant, seriously. I have an autoimmune disease called Neurosarcoidosis & since I was diagnosed I've come to realization that an organic plant based diet, organic hygiene products, even utensils for cooking, storing & eating food is what's needed for my mind, body & soul to operate at it's optimum.

      KarleeMoore 😂 try sitting in a corner or against a wall, and put a light shawl or blanket over you. It's a very traditional and proven method for meditation, very comforting. Ask for protection before you choose your eyes, i.e. Arch Angel Michael, Jesus, who ever you favour.

    What a relaxing morning routine! I'm a massage therapist and so I don't typically go into work until 10:00 am so I have plenty of time in the mornings to incorporate some of this into my morning. I'm definitely going to try the Nutella!

    i have used that vitamin c powder before when i started to see signs of pneumonia. Within two days those symptoms were gone. i truly love that stuff

    Is there a reason for keeping the deodorant ingredients separate from the shea butter? Application would maybe be a bit easier/faster if everything was already in one jar.

      diba moca Good question. I find that it goes on easier if I blend in the Shea right before application. Otherwise it seems like it just sits on my skin, and flakes off.

    this is a glorious list of things i have zero inclination to do when i get up for work at 1am. my morning routine is roll out of bed, throw on clothes, collect my lunch and water and drive to work. my meditation is singing at the top of my lungs during my half hour drive to work in the dark. :) we do what we can with what we have, even if its barely any sleep and rising at 1am.

    I started my first full time job post college last October and I'm still working on getting a routine down... so far I've built up waking up at 6am, drinking coffee on my balcony, cleaning for a bit, then getting ready and getting into work early. I would ideally squeeze in a run, but that adds a solid hour onto my morning, so I'm trying to gradually wake up earlier to accommodate that. I'm trying to think of other little beneficial things to squeeze in too.

    so excited to have found your channel! my morning routine consists of starting off with about 15 minutes of pranayama, and a few quick stretches in bed to help wake me up.. followed by a guided meditation or transcendental meditation, then a yoga practice and and dream journaling ☺️

    I wake up. Pee and poop. Drink water. Shower! Prepare breakfast, and eat breakfast whilst watching RUclips videos or anime or something, haha. It's so bad, I've been trying to change it recently but it is so hard to eat breakfast outside of my room in a 'dead' sharehouse. Wanting to incorporate morning walks or something similar - but it is too cold to get out of bed that early.

    Love the Nutella recipe, my hubby is addicted to the store brand 🤦🏾‍♀️ So I need to make our own asap. I really don't like the taste of maple syrup, is agave or honey an ok substitute?

    I'm like you, I m an early riser. I don't like feeling rushed in starting my day and meditating. I'm about to start a vegan diet to lose weight and become healthier. Both my parents died of heart disease. I 55 now and it's never too late to start.

    My morning start begins with some water to drink then a cup of tea with honey in . My breakfast is a banana , peanut butter and oatmeal smoothie with some mixed seeds thrown in . I'm hooked on it , and it's delicious and keep me going all morning!!

    I'm not being mean and I love this video. It is refreshing and I love your positive vibrations. I'm just curious, do you have a day job? I tried drinking water like that in the morning and I couldn't make it to work. I had to pull off the freeway and find a gas station because my bladder was so full, plus after I get to work, if I drink water like that, I have to go about every 25 minutes. Meetings are out of the question. I'm just curious because I've seen so many vegan videos where it seems like the workout, juicing and meal prep take up the whole morning and I don't see anyone addressing people that have businesses to go to or a job. Nobody's going to work, but somehow, all that healthy food happens to be in the house. Let me repeat, I love your video and I'm taking notes, but what if you're short on time, can't hold straight water and have to get out of the house, into the traffic and off to work? Add dropping off children? This is a real life question for the average woman in America?

      teflo2 for the water .... I was the same and I thought I'd never get used to it. I had to work my way up to that much water in the morning. If I had to drive to work each day I'm not so sure my bladder would let me without stopping to go. Have you tried drinking 8 oz just for the wake up? Then drink more after you arrive at work ? I always feel like I have the tiniest bladder. I have noticed the more I drink water the more I'm getting used to it and don't have that urgency I did when I first started. For routine when working...I have to keep things easy. I don't like meal prep because I cannot eat food that is prepared and already sitting. That's just me. I stay raw to keep it simple. Lots of smoothies. I use frozen blueberries. I freeze the spinach and bananas right away. All that goes in a nutribullet with chia and flax seeds, raw cacao powder, and plant milk. Easy and done. You can drink that while getting ready or even driving to work. And lunch n dinner I do the same or eat fruits or salad.

      I started drinking a gallon everyday about two months ago. I thought after a couple weeks my bladder will adjust.. but it hasn't lol! I just started an hour and half commute to work and I was not prepared for the wrath of my bladder the first couple mornings lol. I've learned to leave water by my bed and drink a couple of cups as soon as I wake up in the a.m., that way I have time to empty my bladder two or three times before my drive. Other than that, my coworkers just have to deal with my journey to staying hydrated. No shame lol

      Camarra Smith Yeah, I was told that my bladder would adjust. It never happened. I do the same thing in the morning, just a few sips of water. I love water now, but not when I have meetings, have a lot of errands to run, at a movie or a concert. It's an ideal, but not always practical.

      Isabella Mizrahi Eating isn't a problem except that smoothies only last me a hour or so into the work day, then I'm hungry again, so I need more solid food in the morning to concentrate and make it through long meetings. I try to drink as little water as I can into the morning, now that I know my bladder. Having to go in the middle of rush hour traffic just doesn't work for me. I have to start my water drinking when I know that I can go without disrupting anything. It's just real life.

      teflo2 I could not drink water like that either if I had to commute. I have gotten a lot better with getting up all night after a full day of water, but some moments it hits suddenly. Always at the worst times.

      hg elite 2023 she is probably using Ezekiel sprouted bread, which is found in the frozen food section. I eat it, and it looks like that, plus I think she mentioned it in another video. I know she has mentioned buying bread at the local Farmer's market so it could be that, too.

    I just wanna say I came across your channel only a few days ago & I tried your cauliflower recipe ( which came out GREAT). I absolutely love your channel might I add. It is so refreshing to see a fellow sister of color following such a healthy and spiritual route that I can easily follow and look up too !
