I have a recipe for White Chicken chili that I veganized and it's my favorite meal I use: 2 cans of black beans 1 can of corn 1 can of whole white beans 1 can of slightly mashed white beans (To replace the chicken) 1 can of tomatoes with chilies (And whatever else you want to add in too! I feel like I might be forgetting something...) Then season (Heavily!) with salt, pepper, cayenne, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika ,and anything else you see fit!
Also if you want a thicker soup which I really like, boil it down with the canned liquid so that it thickens and add a little bit of cornstarch. Then serve with vegan sour creme, add vegan cheese on top, and crush tortilla chips into it before you eat it (or just eat it with chips so you don't dirty your spoon)
This is the first video I've seen that's made me feel like I could take the steps to eat more plant based. Everything looks so hardy and delicious. Great recipes and video!
The red lentil soup is hands down one of my favorite recipes of all time! It's healthy, flavorful, inexpensive and so easy. I make it all the time and it's especially awesome to make ahead and take to work. Thank you for sharing!
i absolutely love leftovers - i often feel that the food tastes even better the next day when everything has had time to sit :) thanks for all of the tips, lovely!
I have a quick and cheap recipe for low fat and tasty veganized rillettes (I'm French so this is a stapple of mine haha) : Chop and simmer one onion, two shallots and two fresh garlic cloves; Add to it a puree of rinsed white beans (one can) with red beans (one can), once the mix has cooked to a pinkish and stringy texture, add a table spoon of mustard and plenty of sea salt.. cool it 2 hours in the freezer and enjoy on a piece of bread :)
You could make a version of a Turkish (white) bean stew: Dice some onion, potato, tomato, carrots and throw 'em in a pot with the beans, some olive oil and water. Season with salt, black pepper, parsley and dill. Then serve it with rice or bulgur. Sending you lots of love from Berlin :) (My mother sometimes puts a whole onion in there to cook with the other ingredients. Definitely try it if you love onions, haha.)
You have a new subscriber. Thank you for the quality content! So important to teach people how to make veganism affordable so more can have access. You're amazing and I send you my vegan love!
I hope your break is going well for you, you deserve it! When you come back, however far away that time is, please make more of these videos! They're my favorite!

I know I'm watching all your old videos right now, but I just discovered your channel today and you've quickly become my favorite vegan vlogger! Getting so many great ideas! I'm a picky eater but seeing all these recipes has my mouth watering. Thank you for all your wisdom!
Thank goodness for your channel! You are hands down my favorite vegan. Your recipes are simple and tasty! Thanks for making my transition a little easier.
Love that there was a part two following the previous video! Most of the time you see vegan "hauls" but never a follow-up of actually prepping the food. Thanks for that! Also, you could do a vegan spin on a curry with the carrots, lentils, and sweet potatoes : )
THANK you for all your energy and sweet potato love that you put into your content. I'm really enjoying your channel. Thank you also for dispelling the notion that eating clean and vegan is expensive. Would enjoy to see a week #2 when you expand on the staples. Blessings sis!
I just finish eating the black bean soup and OMG it was sooooo good! My family loved it especially with the chips...I made it without tweeking anything YUMMM
Everything looks fabulous. My favorite: Minestrone. Sautee onions, garlic, carrots, celery, rosemary, basil, oregano, a little hot chili pepper in a large pot. Add kale, crushed tomatoes, water, red beans, sea salt, and simmer for a couple of hours. (I'm assuming soaked, uncoooked beans). Serve over pasta. I usually make a big pot and eat it all week.
Though I'm not vegan, I love watching videos such as yours for new healthy meal ideas and prep tips! By the way, so far you are one of the few people here on youtube that actually use seasoning! I'm following so many channels that I'm kind of shocked that many don't even use the traditional salt and peeper or some tiny bit of Italian spices and some olive oil. Thank you for the awesome recipes! Can't wait to try them (especially the broccoli arancini one; it looks really homey)!
i hope you know you're the BEST vegan cooking channels out there, i've tried other recipes from other youtubers and they were mostly bland or taste like prison food. yours never fail!
Hi SweetPotatoSoul! Just found your page after bingeing TheChicNatural's vegan posts...so glad I did! I am one who HATES being in the kitchen and I am not creative in the least. Your posts give so much interesting inspiration and I am sooooooo glad you have everything listed on your blog as well. Thank you!!!!! (Please never take your blog down!)
These recipes look so good and easy! I would make a sweet potato black bean chili with the tomatoes, onions, garlic, and spices to serve over rice, topped with nutritional yeast.
More southern recipes, please! I've made the gumbo and waiting patiently for the peach season to begin so I can make the buddha bowl! Southern dishes sound so delicious! :)
Awesome ideas for meal prep!! We want more and more of this kind of videos, please... The grocery's haul and the diferent recipes with all the ingredients!!! You're the best!! I'm vegan for a few weeks and you're my inspiration... Thank you so much!!
I took this challenge and made all the recipes except for the black bean soup which I turned into a chilli with kale. The arancini are amazing!! I love the red lentil soup too. It was so fun. Thank you for sharing :)
I'm so glad I have found your channel 😊! I have been a vegetarian on and off now for about five years and managed to lose 100lbs with many more to go! I'm in a total rut relying on mock meat and prepared foods like Amy's meals. You make me want to cook again and really go for it health wise! Thanks so much 😊❤️!
Just found your channel and I'm trying to get healthy and be Whole Foods plant based, so I just wanted to say I appreciate your amazing video content! The first few weeks of this are gonna be the hardest til I really adjust so thank you!!!!! For making it a little bit easier :)
Those arancini balls!! 😍 something I never would have thought of, but so simple! And I love anything with a tomato sauce so I know they've gotta be delicious!!
Outstanding!! Cooking with my two of my favorite beans: lentils and black beans!!! Yay! I love all of the recipes. The rice/lentil balls looks delicious! Thanks! :)
Thanks. I am switching to vegan next week and I need all the recipes I can get. I have watched your vids before. You have a way about yourself that draws me in. Keep up the good work. If you haven't been told before you may me a Hebrew. Please look into it. Shalom.
SweetPotatoSoul Shalom. Yes. That is what I meant. In these last days we are awakening in rather last numbers to find out we have been lied to from birth. I go to Israel twice in the year for the feast days. I just came back a week ago. I know this is not the topic for your channel. But I like to have our people look into our real historic past. I'm glad that you have family who are in the land.
SweetPotatoSoul If they are from Dimona then I would expect nothing less from your kindness and compassion for cooking and your personality. I try to go and meet them when I get to the land.
I love to make a chunky dip with a jar of salsa, or homemade salsa, a couple of cups of black beans and a cubed mango. Stir it all up and scoop it up with natchos or similar chips like scoops. My friends love it when we are on my back deck having wine and conversation. So yummy.
Thank you so much, used to buying for two now I need to get used to cooking for one!!! This definitely helps me cut down on extra buying!!! Thank you so much!!!
Thank you for another great video! You put me so at ease as a viewer and you come up with the best recipes. I've never commented before but I really appreciate all you've done for me in my first year as a vegan! :)
