  • I'm just wrapping up decorating at my home now and thought I would share some of my tree trimming tips & tricks with you. I apologize that this isn't my most cohesive video ever. I filmed it in parts without knowing exactly what I wanted the video's focus to be on, so that's why it kind of jumps around to other things. I hope you still enjoy it despite all of that!

    I adore your woodland themed tree. It really does give the room a very warm, homey feel. I finally decorated my tree last night and will tweak it a little more tonight, but otherwise it is done. Thank you, Jen, for sharing your fabulous homemaking and organizational skills, but mostly for inspiring me the way you have. You truly are a very special person.
    Aloha!

    I love when you say that you had your tree or other things for several years. They look like new. Love your common sense and the way you take good care of your possessions. Love the way you can do everything, from changing a fuse or whatever else is needed do be done. You're my hero, seriously! Love you girl! Thank you for another great and interesting video.

    I have never used gloves, thanks for the tip. My tip is that every year I take pictures of all the Christmas decorating so the following year I look at them, inside and outside of the house, to jog my memory of where everything goes. Love all you've done so far, looks great.

    It really take a lot of time and patience testing those bulb one by one Jen.I know it"s important to check on the lights to prevent unnecessary accidents and we don"t want fire to ruin our celebration and preparation...:)

    I love your advent calendar! Opening a calendar is so exciting - even when you have set it up yourself :) Btw, I always start with the biggest ornaments too and fill it up with smaller ones. In Finland quite a lot of people put golden or silver ribbon (or strings? don't know the word) onto the tree to finish.

    Do you keep your holiday decorations up for awhile after Christmas, or are you one of those people who takes it all down the day after Christmas? I think that'd be so depressing - at my house we like to keep the cheer going until New Years. One year our tree was actually a Valentine's Day tree because we were all so busy (*blushes*), but the ornaments were pink so I guess it worked out...?

    Is trimming another word for you to hang up the ornaments?

  • @KimberlyWebbdesigns
    @KimberlyWebbdesigns 9 лет назад

    Its hilarious that people are asking why you trim an artificial tree. "Trimming" a tree is DECORATING it.......not cutting it in anyway. lol.....or at least that's what we call it in the states.

  • @noomitje8
    @noomitje8 12 лет назад

    I don't think I get it! Trimming means cutting, right? But they are fake so shouldn't they be perfect as they are? Sorry I'm confused! :-)

    @MsCinone I know what you mean, but if you've watched all Jens videos like I have, there are a couple of instances where she says things with double meanings and she always laughs so I don't think she's as innocent as you think, are you Jen? Lol

  • @carol18green
    @carol18green 12 лет назад

    Not fluffier, fluffer
