Long looooong time subscriber. I had drifted away from your channel for a while, but this video popped up in my stream and I'm so glad I watched it and you again Jen. You have been on such a journey since this video happened. I am enjoying your current content, aka you exploring the pacific northwest, but these videos are a treasure I will revisit again and again simply because I loved to watch you organize and plan and execute your projects. Wish you all the Best and God Bless! ❤❤
I love going back and watching these old videos, Jen. Longtime viewer (although have changed YT names) and so enjoy these holiday videos. Hard to believe fall will be here before we know it. Hope we’ll get a peak at Thanksgiving 2022 from you and the kiddos. Thanks for keeping these old videos posted.
every year i have to go back to see your videos love love them
I would LOVE to come to a party like this!!
Jen, you are the ultimate hostess and I know that your friends and family appreciate all that you do to make your Thanksgiving gathering a very special one. I also appreciate that you have shared the details of your planning with us. This will be a video that I will be watching over and over again. It is packed full of good, useful information. Have a blessed Thanksgiving celebration with your family and friends!
Aloha!
oh jen, we all have many things to be grateful for, if only we would stop and look around us. we on youtube, have one more thing to be grateful for and that is you. you bring alot us great joy. remember that whenever you need to... thank you!
Iam looking at these old videos 📹 I love them❤ 😊
All her suggestions still apply. I have learned so much
I can't begin to tell you how much you have helped me. Planning ahead and organizing do not come natural to me, so I spend my time finding things and running around like a crazy person at the last minute for every holiday/event and I never really get to enjoy it. But your videos have turned me into a list making machine! LOL It has made such a difference. Thank you so much for your videos!
Hosting my first Thanksgiving with my husbands family. I'm so excited! I've gotten so much help from you in the past, I had to come back and re-watch all your prep videos to brush up.
I love the idea of people being able to look back on what they were thankful for the previous Thanksgivings!
Thank you for this Jen. I love watching yourr videos - its like watching an episode of your fav tv prog - but better. The longer the better for me. Everything looks lovely. You really have changed my life with your videos. You often ask if anyone wants to see a video on something - I can't imagine ever saying no thanks. You make things that seemed a chore and boring to me, exciting fun and beautiful. Have a lovely Thanksgiving.
A lot of thought as gone into the preparations so beautiful.
I want to have Thanksgiving at your house! We do nothing for the holiday here. I love holiday parties!
BEST Thanksgiving set up ever Jen! Love it! =D I watch it every year =D
Everything looks lovely, Jen! Can't wait to see the final touches and set-up. Thank you for sharing your tips, ideas and glimpses of your beautiful home.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
You're a great multi tasker Jen! I love hearing about all these projects you're doing. You're such an inspiration. Your set up for Thanksgiving looks amazing, and I loved the process you showed us in this video.
Wish you a Happy Thanksgiving... and I'm thankful for you, for taking the time to post these videos and for sharing and inspiring us so much.
i love a lot of of your holiday prep vids reminds me of shows i watch on tv that teach decorating or diy for house and stuff like that which I love to watch.... and your long vids don't bother me at all... this 40 min vid is like a one hour show without the commercials :)
Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving, Jen! I'm so ready for all the yummy food and spending time with my awesome family :)

Everything looks great. This was a great video and the tips would work for any party. I really like the tip about renting, I never thought of this. This vid is def a fav.
Everything looks so pretty, great job. Renting stuff, that is a great tip, I wouldn't have thought of that. thanks for the tips.
I can't believe you're going to do a tour on Thanksgiving morning. I'd be so busy! My fiance and I did Thanksgiving dinner (for the first time) our first year in our new home. We only had my parents over, and we thought that was stressful, lol. Your decorating looks amazing! I love the centerpieces.
happy thanksgiving Jen :)
It looks simply lovely and very elegant. Your guests are lucky to have you as their hostess! Amazing presentation, a nice break for me today to sit and enjoy your show! Happy Thanksgiving to all!
So gorgeous, Jen! It looks warm and inviting. I'm sure your family and friends will absolutely love it and appreciate all of your hard-work and your incredible attention to detail that you put into this celebration. Happy Thanksgiving! Cheers, Christi :o)
WONDERFUL Video Jen! I love that it was long enough for a lil break for myself.. and all the information. Thank you. You give so much of yourself on all your channels and I thank you for being true to YOU no matter what anybody says. Have a Happy Thanksgiving :)

The thankful letters are such a cute idea!
This. Is. AWESOME! I don't know how I didn't see this video before, but it is great to watch (and I personally love the long videos :-) It's like How I used to watch Martha Stewart's Holiday Specials , but better!) I really hope we (my family) get to have Thanksgiving at our house this year so that I can actually use some of your amazing organization and planning ideas (holidays are always so disorganized, it's really frustrating because I thrive on order). Thanks for the inspiration!!!
I love these long videos!!! I grab a snack and a drink and I am ready to go!!! haha
Anyone watching in 2020?
Please do updated videos on Holiday Prep; I refer to your 2011 videos on this subject every year for tips. Thanks.
Great video! Thanks for sharing! Happy Turkey Day!
Great Job Jen ... as a fellow planner i know the feeling that being organized gives and the stress release that comes from planning ahead.. Glad to see i am not the only one who set their table ahead of time ...it sure helped me have a stress free holiday - i even let others help with the clean up this year ( that was a weird feeling lol to give up control) Wishing and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving
corrie aka uglybobswife
Wow, your such an inspiration! Your organization/ hosting beats Martha Stewart by a long shot! How I would love to be at your house for the holidays, looks amazing!!!! Take care- Sarah
you put so much hard work into ur vids!thxs!
@3renie It's taken many years and lots of work on my part, but I have become much more relaxed and "myself" around my immediate family and closest friends. I look forward to celebrating the holidays with the people that I love. There are some other parties and events I must attend that do not involve just my closest loved ones that are particularly challenging for me and I pick & choose carefully which, if any, I attend in any given year.
Hi Jen is 4:26 am I am on east coast and washing dishes and making my apple crazy I know.Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.I love love your videos they help me alot.Thank you.
Loved this video, so helpful and inspiring. Please do a gift wrapping demo, tips and tricks video! :)
@weeknightingale An old wise woman once said...if you don't have anything nice to say...don't say ANYTHING. Don't be rude. Jennifer is a very hard working woman, and from what I can tell, she doesn't sit down. You don't have to have a job outside the home or children to be considered BUSY. She makes excellent use of her time and she should be thanked and appreciated that she has decided to share it with us. If you don't have the time and you feel it's too long...simply DON'T WATCH.
I can't believe I'm the first to comment, You are really organized, I always get good tips from your videos, thanks to you I'm explorig the organizational road, keep posting your videos, you are great.
Happy Thanksgiving.
I love your holiday prep: Thanksgiving setup video it helps me alot because I usually going crazy for Thanksgiving.I just to cook everything in one day not anymore.
I wonder how much weight does the chairs hold, I have rather large people in my family?
@sharingjam That was so sweet of you to say...thank you :)
@naymette I completely forgot about that! I think I'll move a lot of the cups & saucers down to the bottom shelf of that console table and put out another bowl for used k-cups and a plate for dirty spoons. Really only a handful of people ever drink the coffee anyway, but I like to be prepared just in case everyone wants some.
Loved this video! You make hosting Thanksgiving seem possible and...dare I say...FUN! (lol) I'm definitely going to "favorite" this one! Sending blessings your way to you and your family for a wonderful Thanksgiving! :o)
Thank you so much...awesome ideas I will be using this weekend!
@Netobuloji I hope to do an updated look at my daily/weekly schedule in January
I have loved watching your videos and I know I can locate a lot of what you have used on my own but I wanted to ask where did you rent your tables/chairs?
I love these videos :)
@Lei0208 So glad you enjoyed it!
@carol18green Lovely compliments...you guys are the best!
Lovely video Jen really enjoyed it could have carried on watching :)
@mzxmir I like to repeat things...that pumpkin candle setup I showed a picture of was my centerpiece for the last 4 years. No one ever complained about me being redundant! Once I find something I like I stick with it. The guests are just there to relax, enjoy themselves, and spend time together - not pick apart your decor, you know?
@uglybobswife I know what you mean...it's hard to share cleaning up tasks when you just want your guests to relax & have a good time, but many of them are more than happy to pitch in. Creates a nice group effort kind of feel...
@pinkrose4161 I'm so happy to be able to share with you all and have you share your stories with me as well.
@lorinhl Glad you enjoyed :)
@HeathersStitches I'm not the best person to ask..I'm pretty shy when it comes to meeting people. We've lived in our neighborhood for 4+ years and I don't really know anyone!
you're AMAZING.
I didn't find you until after the holidays but am enjoying the house tour videos now. Do you host most of the holiday celebrations? I would be a nervous wreck with that many people but I guess if you've done it for a few years, it must get easier. It's also nice to have many people to help with everything. Priscilla : )
thanks for sharing another great video! i truly hope you get discovered and be able to host your own TV show :)
Wow, I so wish I was coming to your house for Thanksgiving!!! :P
@MouseChirpy I'm so happy it is helpful to you :)
Love your videos,,,
I'm getting ready to watch this video on my phone on my long bus ride home from school :) let's see how long it takes to buffer!
I know at this point you didn't start using your filo fax but what would you suggest to put on the daily to do list when planning a party or something since you arleady got other lists and things you need to do to get ready for em.
@organizedlikejen It is a circular robot that vacuums wood, tile and carpeted flooring. You plug it into a charging base once it runs out of power. It does an amazing job of vacuuming and if you have a large house it really helps to keep it clean. It can be contained in certain areas by a movable sensor that it won't go past and I love that it goes under sofas and beds where dust seems to accumulate. It also senses stairs. They are $300 but you can get 20% off at Bed, Bath & Beyond.
great job, everything looks wonderful. Have you ever used a roomba? It helps me clean up easily and they work really well.
I love your holiday prep: Thanksgiving setup video it helps me alot because I usually going crazy for Thanksgiving.I just to cook everything in one day not anymore. Please make a video of cooking the turkey especially because some how my turkey comes out dry.How do you keep the turkey warm without dry it?
@QueenOnTheSea Thanks so much :)
I WISH I could host a Thanksgiving like this!!! I would love it! But everyone always have different place to go and eat so Id have no body coming lol. And I have no room since I don't have a house yet...maybe someday! you did aan awesome job I hope you do an update this year!
you really outdo yourself jen. i would love to be a guest at one of your parties!
Apparently I still watch this video year after year! Jen, you will be very pregnant (like me) this thanksgiving 2017. So, are you all hosting this year? Just curious if you could touch on that next update. Since you always do holiday prep content annually. :) TFS!!
you're so busy yet so calm!! how are you so organized?! =)
@jessedholm she totally is!
@11principessa11 At least you have plenty of time to plan!
where do you plan for your guests to dispose of the 'empty' capsules of coffee after it's pressed? does the machine keep them or sould'nt you have some sort of 'garbage' plate for them?
@wanda12411 No, what is that?
This is kind of a weird question...but was that a mickey mouse band aid you had on your hand? If so, I have the same ones and love them! lol Disney stuff is my weakness. :) I love how detailed you are when you explain your prep work. I am really big on pre planning...but you have some great new ideas I will be adopting. PS we don't mind the long videos :)
Love your holiday décor! My question is how do you suggest taking off shoes and what shoes sizes of extra slippers do you have on hand for people. We have a family of 20. 12 adults 2 teens leaving 6 kids 4 of which are 6-12 and are a challenge; lack of table manner etc. we have a newly remodeled living and kitchen area with carpet in living area which we do not eat in so I'm concerned on ways to address this rule without causing drama.....this is a family gathering....any suggestion would be helpful.
+Sherry I know this is two weeks old but maybe a little sign, either paper or chalkboard about the shoes and then maybe a basket of the big fuzzy socks, rather than actual soled slippers.
@Fashion4Latoya Lots of Christmas vids starting next week :)
I wish i could be a little bit more like you:-) thank you very much for the time you spent to do your Videos.
@scrapper900 I really don't sit down very often! :)
Me too
where did you get these candle holders(?) behind you?????? LOve you videos
Where did you get your pumpkin mugs? so cute!!
OMGOSH!! I wish we knew you in real life! I'd Love to come to one of your Dinners!
Any ideas on breaking the ice with new neighbors after moving into a gated community?
