I don't think you failed Steve! For me we were gone before you joined so the fact you got us to the last game of the season where it was possible! I can't thank you enough. The second half was great today because we knew it was done but we will support you and the club until our last breath!
Steve, I for one don't think you failed. You came in and as you said we were 7th I think in the form table. Too little too late from the board. We move on and I look forward to next season with you hopefully at the helm as we try to return to the EFL.
While media is not his strong point, he has been smiling for quite a few interviews now. I think he has realised the the team was likely being relegated since the Grimsby result and it was always going to be an outside chance since then. He has also had about 4 months to make changes in the club that has made him happier. As for him being a failure? That would depend how you look at it. Given how abysmal the team was before January, Statistically he has made the team better, taking 24 points out of 21 games as opposed to the 18 points from 25 games previously. He did fail to keep us up, but has succeeded in making us a more competitive side without having a pre season to do so, which I am sure he is now looking forward to. Under Steve we also only lost by more than the odd goal once, which was against Stockport 1-3. Previously we had the following losses. 0-3, 3-1, 5-3, 4-1, 3-0, 0-2, 4-1, 8-0, 2-0. So personally I wont be calling Steve a failure. And will judge him more after his pre season and what kind of side he is able to assemble.
@@ricky4145 Facts have lost you? Anyone who "supports" Sutton United and has so little respect for Non-League football is obviously a bit lost. I will enjoy it and the attempt to pull off another promotion one day. How much money do you think we have to splash out on managers?

I certainly don't support Sutton. I've done my fair share of non-league. Enjoy
