Recently researching the possibilities for getting an audio interface and midi controller synced up with an iPad for my kids. This makes perfect sense. Thanks.
The RME Fireface UCX is an outstanding audio interface with extremely bright pre amps. And RME had that thing built to connect well with the Ipad since way back in 2012. It's a hell of a more expensive option though but it is such a good all around piece of gear with it's drivers and being a hybrid interface.
