Regarding to CONSOLE DOCTOR, I have received the following statement... As part of our procedure, we add those stickers to repairs on every console. We do a service on all our consoles and they're tested before they get to our customer. The ones 'you' receive are generally swapped units that have come in multiple times or we deem that it will take too much time etc as we aim for around 35 mins a repair. As I moaned about their repairs, It actually wasn't them. These units are returns that are marked as 'not worth the repair' and are usually swapped out for another console. RECAP. CONSOLE DOCTOR DO NOT Send their repairs back to the customer in these conditions!!!
Love the channel mate! Buying damaged Nintendo handhelds and repairing them was always something I loved doing as a teenager. I've had the itch to buy a Switch lite with a broken charging port and fix it myself (shell swap, etc) and your video just happened to pop up in my recommended so great timing!
This is just for a hobby. I don't have a shop but I do offer repair for my locals. Most of them are just hdmi port replacement or controller stick drift. I will be selling these on eBay this week. I bought these as I didn't have anything to repair and I have the itch to fix things all the time lol. Thanks 😊
What's the safest way to remove the type C part of the Charger when the Switch tablet battery is already full, is it plug and pull never wiggle ? does wiggling damage the Charge port ?
Directly pull straight out. I only wiggle it just to see if it's connected properly to the board. Wiggling doesn't really damage them but will make it a bit looser over time. Dropping it while plugged in would damage it also plugging the wrong cable will also.
@AndyTriesFixing thanks for the speedy reply man i always pull straight out without the wiggling when battery reaches 85% I appreciate it and more power to you man

"thermal paste worms" sounds like a sick death metal song title
Haha it kind of does 😜
These people who sell their repair services and then do such a budged job is kind of terrifying. Awesome repairs!

Oh awesome. You should mate. The feeling when you successfully fixed it is a great feeling. Glad you enjoy the content.
Two nice quick fixes there.
Do you own a physical shop or do you sell these online or is it just a repair service?
Good job

@@AndyTriesFixing Good to know and good on you for doing it. Thank you.
Are you selling them online by any chance
Yes I am slowly on eBay.
Nice easy ones there pal. You have not been doing to bad with those. How many out of the twelve are fixed now.
They sure were. 7 out of 8 are repaired up to the point of these videos. Not doing too bad 😁
I see this one had a bit of a hardware bug!
Haha yeah you could say that 😅

@@zianerysantosThanks man that means a lot. Why only 85%? Is that to save the battery life?
@AndyTriesFixing yeah and is it recomended to fully charge it to 100% or keep it safe by 85%
What do you do with these Switches afterwards? Sell them on?
Yes I do. I've sold 2 already locally but I do tell them that they are repaired units and they can refer to my videos to show the repairs
