36” is a very normal shower even in regular homes. I’m 6’-2” and can comfortably shower in this home, but we can (and do) include larger showers when clients prioritize it 👍
It’s my favorite program on tv .I watched every day going tiny all over USA ❤one day I will buy one right now I’m broke and I will start saving to purchase a beautiful tiny house 🏠 ❤
Beautiful! I wish my family could afford some sort of tiny home. We have had to live with my parents due to financial hardships with our 4 year old and 3 year old. I’m a stay at home mom (former nurse) due to unforeseen health issues. Maybe one day in the near future ❤
Do you do custom build, prefer main entrance be the double glass door but without DGD rather regular door to the side opposite of bed with peep hole and that'll be main entrance, and have another door at the back to go to the yard, dislike side doors it's usually too close to DD, and couch need to face a wall if you're a tv watcher solid wall there prefer and a window behind couch or to side where bed is
We have a few different models, and we are able to do some customization. People can see our layouts and connect about changes via our website: fireflytiny.com
I can understand this feeling. We could always swap out the door for a couple windows, but you might like our Haven model floor plan even better. It has a porch with an entry door into the living room and the bedroom is tucked away in the back. fireflytiny.com/haven-bto/
The point of this particular design is to be an eye-catching blank slate. If you need storage, it can be added in so many ways. We have designs without an integrated porch with large wardrobe closet options if that's what a client needs. Everyone has a different mix of priorities and needs, and that leads to a lovely variety of creative tiny homes!
Hi. Thanks for watching the tour of a tiny home that my wife and designed and built together. While we designed this one based on feedback from clients who want a reasonably priced short-term rental, we still think there is room to add clothing storage solutions if someone wants to make it a long-term home. You could add a bed with drawers underneath. You could add a couch with drawers underneath. You could use a washer/dryer combo and hang clothes above it. You could use some of the tall utility cabinet for clothing storage... hope this helps :)
Entry doors should open out or all be sliding to give more usable space inside. You waste valuable floor space by swinging the door to the inside. IMO.
I like it when the tiny home builders put the bathroom and kitchen on opposite ends
That can be a nice way to go. So many different ways to get creative with space!
The shower is too small!

@@FireflyTinyHomes I am glad that you indicated it's a 36" size shower. 36 is a good size.
Using modular storage makes great room dividers. A closet, book case, cubes and the like make it very do able and personal.
Yup, great point!
Love the drawer storage!! So much easier to use🤓
I know! Drawers are just so much easier to keep organized and accessible!

Love. A blank canvas. Great kitchen.
Very nice and complete.
Glad you like it!

A shelving system could separate the bedroom area and add storage
Love it !

How much is it
$59,950
I personally wouldn't want my bed by that sliding glass door. No feelings of safety there. That door belongs in the LRoom.

A walk in closet would be nice instead of the porch.Otherwise where do you place your clothes, sheets, towels?

We can and do use out-swing doors! However, some of our homes end up in snowy areas where an out-swing can be a problem.
