Answers to common questions: 1. Are there bug screens? Bug screens are definitely included, they are removed for building and installed before delivery. 2. What is the cost? the model shown is $134,900 or $1,350 depending on financing conditions. This includes all finishes and appliances, we do not charge extra for our premium finishes or appliances. 3.Why is the shower small? Due to the inherent space constraints of Tiny House design some trade-offs must be made to maximize livable and storage space. However, stay tuned as we are developing larger models that will include bigger showers! 4. Where are we located? Simi Valley, California but we can deliver to most anywhere in the lower 48.
I definitely like the layout and everything this house has to offer. You're certainly not left wanting for anything, as it provides virtually everything that you could possibly want and need including all of the typical creature comforts, with the exception of maybe a dishwasher and a place to put your trash. That being said, the one thing I would change would be the shower... It definitely would get the job done but it's quite the tight space. I would take out that cabinet next to it and put in a decent size shower instead. The bathroom already has plenty of storage without that extra cabinet but if you still wanted to have a tall cabinet like that to have as a broom closet and/or a place to store an ironing board, you could always make the other large cabinet a little narrower, as it would still be plenty of storage space especially for a house that size, and add a closet next to it, pull out pantry style for those tall thin items. I don't know, just a thought...
Beautifully designed top to bottom and front to back! Storage is key! The underbed pullout closet is smart! Looking forward to seeing another build from your company! ✔️💯
I love the exterior wood/dark black contrast. The bedroom ceiling isn't high enough for me, especially when sitting up in bed or engaging in intimate activities.
TS 2:29 Love the closet under the bed idea. This would be perfect for a loft bed. TS 6:43 Nice touch on having high quality rockwool insulation. This is a rarity in tiny homes. TS 7:10 Having double pane windows is a smart idea. TS 8:00 I never thought about having an induction range. This is a must have when I build my future tiny home.
He thought of everything--excellent design making use of every inch of space--nooks and crannies, even where you wouldn't expect space to exist. Looks like very comfortable living especially for a college student.
Thank you for the kind words. We're working with a few lenders and it will be about $1,350 per month which is about half the cost of a 1 bedroom apartment in Southern California.
Not all of us live in California and that kind of payment you could get a double wide with tonse of space. The whole idea of tiny living is also tiny cost. It is nice but it's really priced 4 that weekend get away couple with money, not that college kid just scraping by. If something brakes in their $1300 dollar apt, they don't have to pay 4 it. That's the attraction to renting, until U can afford it. Good luck guy's.
Love this ! I would put a plug outlet in the tall bathroom closet to put a stick vac. And I would make the steps up to the bed foldable to get the out of the way of the couch when not needed. Very nice.
I LOVE it! Congratulations on a brilliant design from top to bottom. The pull out wardrobe/stairs are genius. I can’t fault anything. I admire and applaud and appreciate the excellent quality of the build! I’ve seen hundreds of Tiny homes now and this one is a real standout. ❤❤.
Please consider that a rarity in tiny homes. Most people don’t want to spend$110k or more for one. You can…just be prepared to pay, THis type of construction in general is typically more expensive but you can achieve more of what you want in it if you have the money just like with larger homes.
Agree…and there’s definitely room to make that a bit bigger without compromising too much. I’d also go for on demand water heater (even though that would require gas). That would then make this perfect. 😊
I’ve been following Tiny Home designs for a long time. It’s a vision, goal, dream of mine. I will do it at sometime in my life. You have one of the nicest, functional, aesthetically, pleasing designs I’ve seen.
I love the design! The underbed storage and closet, the skylight, the pocket door, the pantry and spice rack. The small shower is fine with me, I like to maximize the space for areas I spend the most time or need the most storage. The shower gets 15 minutes from me so the smaller the better! The only thing I would change is the fridge- I would put the cabinet below the fridge and raise the fridge up so I don't have to get down on the floor to get food out. Add solar panels and I'm in!!!
I was skeptical, given its size. You gentlemen did a superb job on this one. My only reservation is that the shower should be larger. But given the square footage, this is awesome.
I can't afford it, but this is a beautiful tiny house on wheels. Keep on the good work. Thank you for sharing ❤ Greetings from France in Western Europe.
I love the closet and also the conduit for cables behind the tv is genius! Great tiny home. A few small personal preference adjustments and this would be perfect.
Amazing work, really inspiring to see! Loved the details and all the functionality, just beautiful. As a custom detail I would add a folding wood screen for the bed area to separate the living space for entertaining; and create a floor to ceiling paneled wall where the TV is. Very impressed by your work.
Very nice. Small but well thought out so you have as many amenities as possible for it's size. Never been in that small of a shower before so I can't say what that would be like. But overall this place seems comfortable and pleasing.
I'd want 3 feet added to the overall length to fit in a decent sized shower for people who are not skinny as a 1" board, a fridge with a bottom freezer, a lot of people hate top freezers, the broom closet and somewhere to hang your coat, hat, keys, umbrella, the normal things most people have to live their normal lives. You tried to think of so much and you nailed so many things but some felt like you just squeezed them in because they were required. Also, offer a choice of a Cinderella incinerator toilet & its urinal mate. They would fit with those extra feet. Some people care about the environment. But it is a lovely look both inside and out. The bed, closet & couch area are perfect. You almost nailed the kitchen but in addition to the fridge, those really high cabinets need a collapsible ladder & as I stated a coat closet to store it in along with coats people own. I don't want to put my wet coat inside the clothes closet with all my clean clothes. Last, and this is personal to me, I'd want a dishwasher drawer offered as an add-on. I'd shrink the sink, but keep the depth for cleaning large pots. I wouldn't personally need a large sink & dishwasher. But some people might. Give them the choice. People like to have a choice in the design of their living space. I would pay for the extra length because overall your design is almost, nearly perfect. A few of the above are personal. The shower size is practical if you want to sell these to a wider audience (and by that I did not mean large as in body size).
I’d like to add my personal choice would to have another window rather than a giant tv….agree thoroughly with the idea some people like to have some design options as well…agree with all on that shower size and enclosure…I’d feel like I was trapped inside-And I’m thin!
So cute! That roll out closet is genius. Love the wood ceiling above the bed, and the windows on all sides. Really like the light cabinets with the black counters in the kitchen. I understand the space is really limited, but that shower would inspire two minute showers. So incredibly tiny. I'd probaby forego that and put in an outdoor shower. Otherwise, great design overall.
Impressed! Great model you designed! I've seen many tiny homes, and this one is very well done and I think the price fits the quality. Great investment. I could live in that. To compensate for the smaller shower, I would make an outdoor shower. 😉
The exposed pipes are sewer only and the supply lines are all insulated. Regardless, we would want to increase the insulation values if it's going to be in a sub-freezing climate.
I saw the price down in your comments, but your website needs to show prices and your location so people can decide if paying to tow it from your location is in their budget.
Very nice design and use of quality materials, however as a senior I would not enjoy climbing up onto the bed. I would prefer a slightly more elevated headroom with overhead storage and even prefer a full size bed opposed to a queen. Are there options for “off grid” utilities?
I work for a glass fabrication and we make the insulated units used in the windows. I wonder if it was Energy Advantage or a Solarban low-E. In the glass industry, the “frosted” glass is called either Pavia or Satin.. There is a sandblast option but the appearances is slightly different.
I love this tiny I am a senior the bed is questionable but maybe possible. I love the storage! The kitchen is perfect. The only non acceptable thing is that tiny shower I am larger and I need to start in a shower. But overall this is a fabulous design & home♥️♥️♥️
How will the exterior stand up to constant coastal salt air exposure as the parking location will be within 3 miles from the beach? Very humid climate?

There is a lot I like about the Minuet but only having one place to sit wouldn't work for me. I would much prefer my own reclining love seat. The other thing is the workplace under the TV could not accomodate a desktop computer. A Minuet with a little added length and width would really help.
Sure thing! The seating is configurable to bring your favorite recliner. And a desktop computer can definitely fit because we've done it. We'll add photos to our website.

Perfect for me. Someone said there was no bathroom. It has a perfect lg. bathroom. My only problem would be the price which they kept stressing that it was not cheap.
Good points. Unfortunately, the trend in tiny homes is to make them cheaper and cheaper but our focus is to make beautiful, expertly crafted tiny homes that will last more than a few years. The construction industry is plagued with people using inferior materials, and taking short cuts. In the end, it can often be too expensive to purchase a cheap tiny home.
Any designs that are ADA compliant. Can you show us your model? I am a double leg amputee who is wheel chair bound so a 10ft wide unit would be awesome. Having a single floor unit is an excellent idea. A bathroom laundry room but NOT a combo unit. No quartz counter tops as the quarts causes a lung disease very similar to black lung disease that coal miners get.

That pull out closet in the stairs is amazing!

I agree "That pull out closet in the stairs is amazing!"
Such a beautiful, tiny home only thing would make it perfect is screening the windows ❤
All windows have screens that are installed at delivery. We remove them so they're not damaged during transport.
They cut off a lot of natural light, but are required. Wonder how people in busses ventalate?

I'm a small person so closet is fine. Storage in closet draw? Outside cameras?
@sashabenoit1518: this is a very small unit. A dishwasher is a waste of storage space. @21:16, that is where you put the trash.
Beautifully designed top to bottom and front to back!
Storage is key! The underbed pullout closet is smart! Looking forward to seeing another build from your company! ✔️💯
