I have seen hundreds, This is wonderful. We had a small lake house with four children and friends.and other family members, and an Irish Setter.. You have done so much with so little space. The shower would be fine for me because I am small. I do believe it needs to be bigger for others..

Great build, but i agree with others: shower is too tiny. Id ditch the cabinet for a bigger shower. I can't see how anyone would comfortably shave their legs in there. Might limit your customer base.

Hi Jay ! European here. Great project, excellent use of mind (and not only) resurces. One question: any thoughts on how the house would stand against a very strong wind ? (not necessarily a tornado). I am not familiar with how extreme weathear is "distributed" across the US, but I assume that some prospective clients may live in such areas. Maybe some outside bracing on a concrete slab, 😊 disguised as a summer terrace ?! Just a thought. Cheers and have fun !

Looks very nice. Really incredible work, well done. Couple of thoughts: 1) The plumbing underneath looks like it hangs really low. I’d be worried that it could be easily damaged while moving the home into location. 2) the area above the bed seems lower than optimal. I’m curious what the reason for that is. 3) The ”build-in” sofa seems like it might be better as a sofa-bed to give parents and kids some privacy and space. 4) Similar thought on the bed loft. I think the adults might want some sort of door to the bed room to allow for a sex life without the kid being in ear shot. 5) Sorry if this detail is on your website, I’d be curious as to what the septic / sewer requirements are, same for electrical requirements. 6) Are there any plans for a solar panel / wind turbine option and energy storage to reduce power requirements and make it more feasible to use in locations with less available power? For some the added upfront cost would be worth the additional expense. 7) I think some Wheel covers to extend the life of the tires would be a good accessory. All that being said, I think the tiny home concept is not a viable and scalable solution for sustainably housing families. It certainly can work for some. I think exclusionary zoning rules designed to maintain property values “neighborhood character” and the emotional comfort of the landed gentry are far greater a problem. I wish the housing crisis was an engineering problem. Those are far easier to overcome. It’s far more a political problem that is about protecting an active voting political class from things they often have a knee jerk reaction against.

It depends on your location. Start with a Google search to see if there are ordinances that don't allow them. Our homes are best located in back yards.

We have a larger and more accessible model coming next year that has a single level floor plan. It's perfect for residents that don't want steps or ladders. The bed height of this Minuet model is integral to the storage areas and efficient use of cubic space.

nice. were i able, i'd swap the flushing toilet for something like the Incinolet and push for the biggest possible solar array and perhaps some of the bleeding edge home wind turbines with the Nautilus/Fibonacci type gizmos instead of the old-fashioned fan blades... which work fine for passing air around indoors. Love the color scheme. might throw in a pop of a darker blue...maybe a picture frame or two and perhaps a a vase in yellow, maybe another orange for just a touch. those colors might also be in the pictures/photos/painting... oh... i'd swap a drawer/cabinet in the kitchen for a drawer-style dishwasher. i don't mind doing dishes by hand but I'm not probably not going to be physically able much longer. More realistically, i'd have to do more future proofing w/ a model that has a first floor bedroom and ideally extra wide (10') to allow for ADA wheelchair access. This is such a lovely place as is.... i'd just have to do a bit more tweaking to meet my health needs better. keep up the superb work!

Over $130,000? You lost me there. That price will never help average people buy a tiny home, let alone a normal size one. Especially with what's happening in our country. The price of materials alone are going to skyrocket with tariffs coming. Not to mention the price of food! Layoffs from people in government jobs. No overtime pay for people who make less than $60,000. No state insurance for people who don't work for big companies. They can't afford private insurance because the price. Not to mention the price of their medications. BUT those people are just leeches, right?? They don't work hard enough, right? How are you going to expect the lower - to middle-class people to afford this? Or maybe you don't. Maybe you only have eyes for the rich. That's the American way, after all. Look down on those who don't have the same kind of wealth. I'm so sick of the companies capitalizing on something that sounds great on paper but really wasn't intended for people in a lower tax bracket, but have audacity to market it as such! False hope is just has bad as false profits ladies and gentlemen. The balance of our nation is so far off kilter! Heaven forbid companies remember where their roots come from. Remember what it feels like to have hardship. How people are strunggling and are about to struggle even harder. But that's all ok, I saw the list of companies that donated hugely to what our country is about to face! Greed is rooted so very deep. Its stained so many souls an deep dark shade of crimson red. The saying you can't get blood from a turnip comes to mind! This tiny house is beautiful. Well designed and crafted. Well done, boss, well done. Keep showing so many what they will never be able to afford. Twist that knife a little deeper until it goes all the way through our soul as a country. MERICA!!

This is near perfect for me. Perfect would mean getting rid of the TV (I use my iPad) and replacing it with a window to see out of while sitting on the sofa (between this new window and the window at the sink, that would be directed at the best view). (If someone wanted a mounted TV they could mount one in the corner using the pantry and not give up having a view.) To make it more perfect, you'd have to make the stairs fold up flat easily and out of sight (as they are visual clutter), get rid of the desk and have a small faux fireplace with two decorative fold down chairs on either side of the fireplace (ones that fold up to look like they are a part of the faux fireplace surround) to create a conversation area, as that's what living rooms are for ... for me. I'd have slip on cushions for the chairs (to provide comfort for the seat and back) that I'd store under the sofa.

I love it. I am a 70 year old amputee if i could get on & off the bed it would be a go for me. I would need a drawer dishwasher, a stackable washer & dryer. Can a wheelchair fit thru the bathroom door? Where are you located and do these me code in California? Blue is my favorite color. Cost?? How long is the wait time? I am so glad it is all electric. My condo is almost 1600 square feet all electric and my ultility bill averages $100-150 a month.

Yes, I’ve heard about the combination washer/dryer & how long it takes to complete the cycle, it wouldn’t work for me, I would want to have solar panels, he said compost toilets stink but I’ve watched hundreds of videos on YT and most if not all say that is not the case if its done correctly. If there’s room, I’d rather have a 2-separate pice washer and dryer instead of the combination

@1:45, you roll over during the night and fall over the edge, hitting the stairs before landing on the stone floor. The bed needs a rethink. The brush plate is a neat idea for keeping cabling tidy. @18:48, yep, keep those creepy, crawlies out. The unit is a high quality build with some thoughtful touches. However, I think it is too expensive to really be the solution for the homeless/inadequate single person housing problem. I don't see any municipality going for this.
