Something that is just as bad or worse is when you’re sewing a basting stitch for gathering something like organza and your thred breaks when you have only a little fabric left😭✋
I like to watch channels about social/political issues, personal defense, motorcycles and just funny videos. I find myself asking is it Friday yet so I can watch young lady make these wonderful dresses. I love the content Miss. and cant wait till next week!
This is the first video of yours I've seen, but you have absolutely knocked my socks off!! To tackle a one-of-a-kind gown that was created by designers at the top of their profession is daunting at best, possibly insane! And you didn't just make something that kind of resembles it, you made a piece of couture. I don't know if you plan to go into design, but you've proven you definitely have the chops for it! I'm stunned... You are fantastic at this!
This is amazing!! I'm going to use this tutorial as a base for my wedding dress! (that + Bella Mae's Cinderella gown). You make it look so simple and straightforward. Thank you!!
I have one tip I just learned the other day: if you want to paint fabric with acrylic paint add some fabric softener to the paint, so when you paint the fabric it won't get stiff and it would also be easier to blend and to go through the fibers
You did some thing i have never have had the confidence to try to make a dress just by looking at it! I am a old lady now but i remember crawling around on the floor cutting out patterns. I enjoyed watching you creat this. Dress . Watching you working with things that diddnt match you making them match. Amazing!
Omgosh, you have such a mastery over dress sewing! You tell the material what to do! And it does it, lol. Thank you for your inspiration. Greatttt job on the dress as well, of course!
Oh! I don't know if anyone's ever mentioned it, but you can mix your acrylic paint with a bit of latex or fabric paint next time for a bit of extra flexibility! It's an absolute gorgeous dress and this looks so good on you! (you look so much like billie :0) 🎊🎊🎊❤️❤️❤️
You did an awesome job on this dress!! Stunning! I've learned a lot while dying my own yarns and fabric and my best tip for fabrics and getting the right color on everything is to try and match fiber content as much as you can across tulle, mesh, main, and lining fabric! Cotton is the easiest to dye because it absorbs color the best, followed by nylon, and polyester tends to be the trickiest and will sometimes need to use synthetic-specific dyes to hold the color. Rit's website is an awesome tool to use because they'll tell you how much dye/water/vinegar you need for your project based on quantity.
Wow you're really a talented girl. And to give yourself challenges like this I lift you up my hat (expression) ! its very very nice. Keep going girl ! Can't wait to see your next creation !!! ♥
This is the first one of your videos I've seen and oh my goodness!!!! This dress looked so challenging and it's absolutely stunning!! You're so skilled, and I love the general ~good vibes~ you exude
If you want to use acrylic paints on fabric or canvas using something called a "fabric medium" will really help! It's a liquid you mix with the acrylic that allows it dry more flexible and helps prevent cracking. :) Loved the end result by the way!
I'm a middle aged woman who was never taught to sew, half way around the world. But I absolutely love your channel, and am so, so impressed with how well you did. I can imagine that this would have been overwhelming, even for you, at the beginning. You broke it up though into steps and did a magnificent job. I can only imagine how proud your parents must be with your dedication and talent. Is this something you intend to pursue as a career after school? {Sorry, I don't know how old you are, sorry}. I can only imagine how successful you'll be. Well done. {Ok. I checked. You're about 5 years older than I thought you were. Sorry about that, I had assumed you were still in high school}.
I hope Billie E sees this, she seems like such an everyday person that I think she would be really impressed with your effort. Awesome result, you are incredibly talented. Just love love it
If you rinse the fabric in water with a cup of white vinegar it will set the color so it won’t bleed when you wash it. In the area with the acrylic paint you should be able to find fabric medium that when mixed with the paint turns it into fabric paint. Any craft and sewing store should carry it. I have even found it at Walmart.
This dress is amazing! I’ve never watched a video of yours before and I just have to say you seem so friendly and nice! I just loved watching this video not just because of this amazing dress and the process of making unbutton because I just loved listening to you and your thoughts about it! 🥰 lots of love from Germany 💕
You are an inspiration young lady. You are very talented and I see a very big bright future for you. I have been seeing since I was 5 years old. My Grandma taught me. It is so much fun. I can your passion for it just like I have. Keep up the good work. Hey you should sell this dress I am sure some lucky girl would want this for a prom or formal. If you are not selling your dresses, you really should be.
Wow! That's a massive gown and you did a fantastic job on it!! Congrats! You have a lot of talent. You should open up your own shop. You could make tons of money doing what you do.
A fun tip I learned when you use a facing layer, instead of just topstitching it down to the 'front' layer, is understitching the facing! It's invisible and makes sure the facing stays in it's place nicely! I really love your videos, been bingewatching a lot of them :)) Keep up the great work!
Heartbreak is sewing a whole line not realizing you're out of bobbin thread
And it's always when you're thinking "wow this is going so smoothly!! I can't believe I sewed this much without a hiccup!"
YES😭😭😭
THIS! THIS IS THE BANE OF MY EXISTENCE! E S P E C I A L L Y WHEN YOU REMOVE YOUR PINS
Something that is just as bad or worse is when you’re sewing a basting stitch for gathering something like organza and your thred breaks when you have only a little fabric left😭✋
This one is truly amazing!!! Not to mention that you are going through a move and a renovation all at the same time.
This dress is soooooo beautiful! It would be a gorgeous weddingdress🤭
I was thinking the same thing, it would be an amazing wedding dress.
Yeah if it was white
@@jfashion04 not all wedding dresses are white, there's a bunch that are pink, tan, peach, and even colors like black and red
@@jfashion04 My wedding dress was sky blue!
Agree 😄

This is amazing!! I'm going to use this tutorial as a base for my wedding dress! (that + Bella Mae's Cinderella gown). You make it look so simple and straightforward. Thank you!!
i found that mixing acrylic paint with a little bit of fabric softener makes the perfect soft consistency for painting fabric.
this is so impressive! holy shit well done, the dress is just stunning
You're so talented... the dress is identical, if not even more beautiful than Billie's... hats off!
I love this dress, I don't like the color peach, but in almost any other color this would be my dream dress!!
that's a lot of work.. well done.. so pretty.. perfect!! I want to challenge my self as well to make something, your spirit is contagious...
