Honestly, maybe a whitepill is that normal people start digging into economics, realize how badly shits getting fucked.

@@Thematic2177 Probably because people have basically no other options. Almost everyone knows that the american dream is dead if it was ever alive, and so why not recede from society and refuse to participate if it actively forbids progress and self-proficiency?
@@balwinder345 Yep. Maybe the era of the 0.1% savings account and life insurance finally comes to an end. Then again, people bought this shit, so probably not. I like it, though, because the more people flood the capital market, the lower the potential revenue for me becomes.
@@serraramayfield9230 ''Probably because people have basically no other options - the American dream is dead''.
To say that Americans don't have other option than to try to get rich quickly with Ponzi schemes or crypto scams is pathetic. The amount of money people make working in the USA is ridiculously high compared to almost every country on earth, to the point that we can say that there is no poverty in America. Americans like you, that see a person living in a nice house, having a car, nice TV, computer, all home appliances, and consider themselves poor because they don't have an overwhelming amount of money need to grow up.

"victim blaming" should definitely exist for this type of situation. how the hell are people falling for these?
"Stupidity does not protect you from punishment"
Desperation and FOMO
Well, you had to be a shitcoiner to begin with to even be exposed to the token, so on one hand, these people aren't investors but gamblers. No investor ever would put their money where there's no fundamental value.
The core problem Is a lot of people think investing IS gambling. And while it might rhyme it's not the same for a longshot. You can't really be a victim from gambling your money on a bad bet.
The devs were so greedy, they can't even wait until guy fawkes holiday.

BTC was just the first one and managed to stay relevant, LTC haven't heard anything worth investing my money in, ETH lol the fees are so damn unattractive, it only seems like it's usefull for NFT which is a complete joke to me. XMR is what BTC should have been.
Imagine BTC being like XMR back in the days of SilkRoad, that would have prompted so much attention to this "highly anony crypto" in days where anonymity basically meant you were behind a proxy or using a honeypot like tor.
My only issue with XMR is how stupidly slow it is to sync, and my real issue with Crypto in general is how they don't seem to implement any way to reasonably downsize the blockchain, ETH I heard has a blockchain size of 1TB or something stupid like that.

You know, even if the game did get made, the scammy nature of it seems kind of fitting given the show it takes inspiration from
While you think the bad grammar is a red flag. I would say it is a key point in the whole scam.
They wanted the dumbest people to invest. The ones with a half-brain could see it right there and would stay away and not meking any questions. The ones dumb enough to believe will be the ones investing. Awesome video. You left out the best part. How were they able to pump the value? How did they dump? Add value to a CNN story. Feed us more.
the value pumps from people buying, this token had a honeypot function which means people can buy but only the developer or whoever the creator wallets grants permission to can sell. It looks like it's just going up and up and up on the charts, which is why people fomo like crazy and keep buying. greed, laziness and stupidity at it's finest. it's really not that easy to get rugpulled in defi if you have common sense...
they dump by removing liquidity- look up how liquidity pools on an AMM work.

Bad part of decentralization is scams ngl
Not really. This scam required centralized servers to actually scam people. And even when that's not the case like with some ERC-20 tokens that turned out to be scams, it's the hype and uninformed """investors""" that allow the scam to happen, not the decentralization. If you buy something without looking into it AT ALL then you DESERVE to get burned, ESPECIALLY so with stocks and stock-adjacents.
People aren't getting scammed because of decentralisation, but because they're fucking stupid. Also - central banks and governments have been rug-pulling their own citizens throughout history.
The graphic is also an accurate representation of people interest in the actual show
Oh yeah, we are at that time of the crypto bullrun where dumb money from retail investors starts to pump anything. Last time it was the ICOs (and the Blockchain Tea), now it's the meme coins... Shit is getting dumber with every cycle.
AH... so that stupid mobile ad game I kept seeing was promoting a pump-scam.
... google... really thinking you're alright with this crap.

So the Squid Game is Netflix show. I always wondered, what it is about. I often saw something about it on RUclips, but never klicked it and also didn't care.
People are strange
Honestly, if this wasn't a money making scam, I could 100% see this as a possibly legit game. Like, instead of taking marbles, it's about not loosing them, sort of like a card game of war, perhaps give it a sort of minigolf aspect, with like, incorrect holes and out of bounds that counts your marble as lost. Never seen Squid Game, so not sure if it could fit the show, but it seems like a fun idea at least. As for the cookie cutter game, perhaps make it about precision timing? It seems like a fun concept that if not a scam, might have worked.
