Balistics tactical is literally an automatic 1v1 win when used correctly. The ability to stop your enemy from shooting even for a second is game changing. That on top of free 50 dmg while still being able to shoot makes him the best character for 1v1s. If his ult wasn’t so underwhelming he would probably be top tier
I really like those new thumbnails!!! And I am glad you are making a video about Ballistic, he is my 2nd main (sometimes 1st) after Fuse and he is sooo underrated. The majority of players don't expect to face a Ballistic in BR or Mixtape as often, so when they get hit by his tactical, that 20 hit + 30 overheat damage is SO GOOD and makes quite a difference when engaging in a fight! And his Ultimate is simply so good! Truly underrated abilities, people should never underestimate a Ballistic player when they are facing one.
@@teazzers mhmm I personally disagree 🤔 yes you're right, it's free damage (like Fuse, like Maggie for example) but with Ballistic in comparison to them, it forces the player to either shoot and take that extra damage or to run away and wait it out, and in a plain gunfight it can make a difference.

I remember one of my first Ballistic games where I won a 1v3 with my ult, a flatline, and a dream. It was versus a Caustic as well at one of the blue trucks on World's Edge. Never underestimated him since.
I've been having so much fun this season because having a guaranteed kitted havoc even outside of your ult is insane! Running a sentinel without worrying about not having a 2nd close range gun let's you really engage in any situation like I can't stop playing Ballistic
Merchant, I am trying to get 100 kills in every legend to understand them. I recently got 100 kills for ballistic. He is not bad. His passive of 3rd gun is amazing. I start a fight with the Sling Weapon then go down to Primary then Secondary weapons to finish a fight. His tactical can stop enemies from firing for a few seconds with a measly damage of 20 or 10. His Ultimate is one of the best team ability. So I initiate the fight, trade some damage, before healing I start my ult and then my teammates handle it. Then I also get back in the fight with really fast Reload Speed.
Ballistics tactical is where he falls short.. It’s very unreliable and feels like a waste in a lot of situations. He would benefit from a different tactical
From what different tactical I think his tactical is fine the way it is by overheating the weapon but like make it to where it is used to be in season 17
@@XxK3NdALlxX it's 50 and it can't down a player unless it's the impact damage. It's also longer than the ttk of several guns so you're better to just shoot and focus on aiming.
The nerfs that they received for ballistics Tactical in season 18 is kind of dumb because people are complaining it for no reason that he is a balanced Legend in season 17. He's not really that bad to use his ult literary support the team giving them armed , unarmed movement speed and infinite ammo
i kinda played have been played ballistic since he came out and i can say about his abilities like the sling its fun to use with the new update of being able to get purple sling guns its fun to use, the tactical can help alot sometimes, it can be used as a trap and for advantages on fights with mid range to close range, and the ultimate its also fun to use since you go fast with most guns and its easier to hit (for me it is lol) but the reason people just dont use it its because the gameplay can be really dry but a bit fun and ranked maybe because there are better legends
Balistic its very nice legend , problem people dont know how to use curve smart bullets , and correct time to use ultimate, for me this season in solos my mains was Balistic and mirage
what's even greater about BALListic is his new evo-upgrade for his sling. He can carry 3rd weapon without finding/sharing/stealing mods for it, all he needs for it is play the game - open crates, shoot the gun and collect harvesters. I think this season Old Man is in his "prime"
Personally, basing legends off pickrates is kind of silly. Players tend to play the easiest legends to play and learn. The more complicated ones are left in the dark, like Newcastle and ballistic. Seer is an exception though, his kit is poorly deigned
I’ve been playing Ballistic A LOT recently and he’s fun imo. His tac is nice as it’s a free 50 damage if it directly hits them and overheats plus with the second of that overheat you can put in more or the final damage into the enemy, only thing I could say for an improvement for his tac is maybe increase the bullet speed as you can dodge fairly easy. His ult is obviously just great for pushing teams especially in a full team, the weapon in the sling depends on you so no input there but I prefer the RE for obvious reasons *cough* hammerpoints *cough*. His level 2 perks are nice too as having triple tac bullet uptime is nice for blocking a door as most enemies do respect it on the other side the sling perk is also nice just for having a well equipped smg/shotgun or marksman/sniper depending on what you want. There’s ,imo, one clear winner for his level 3 perks which is having two tacs just being to put in some free damage twice impact wise not overheat unless you hit a diff enemy. His slight speed boost perk is meh as the speed boost isn’t really that significant and obviously doesn’t last long so I don’t find it useful but that’s my opinion. Conclusion, I add him into the people I main which are Maggie, Mirage, and Octane. I can’t commit to one legend, constant repetitiveness is something I don’t like.
You literally get free level purple guns with his sling ult.... thats free purple mag and turbo charger if you use the havoc. Plus the speed and unlimited ammo. Its literally a skill issue if people arent doing good with balistic😂

Ballistic being "vanilla" is a wild take. Lol you must have less than 200 kills on him forsure. Ballistic lacks when he isn't used correctly and doesn't have a team comp that helps him. A Ballistic with a Bangalore and a conduit or lifeline is a nice team comp
I only played him once because I didn't like that the boosted weapon needed different controls to access and it was most suited to an SMG rather than a sniper which I wouldn't mind on a different control.
Recently i began playing Ballistic since i skiped his season and, yeah, it's great for team work and 1v1 encounters, but it's justo so boring sometimes. I really prefer Fuse to be honest, it feels similar in some aspects but it's just much more fun to bring chaos with a lot of explosives.
He gives the average players movement, to me he is perfect his ultimate really helps the team in crucial ammo situations. And the new perk makes having a 3rd gun perfect. He could be better, but for where he’s at right now I think he’s great.
3 guns has a perk that upgrades the third gun to blue and purple. Tactical literally punishes players for playing the game. Ultimate is a gold gun and infinite ammo for your whole team for 30 seconds, yea he’s slept on
i 100% agree 2 weeks ago i noticed the nr.1 kill grinder uses ballistic so i thought i'd give him a try and on my first game that day my 5th game on him in total i got myself my solos 20bomb becuase if i hit my smart bullet i was just a free fight vs all the roller and havoc players so now he is one of my main 3 legends
Ballistic, ironically enough, is the PERFECT legend for beginners. Why? Slingshot completely eliminates the need to loot for an entire weapon - and you can change which weapon ON THE FLY. Whistler is not an overly strong ability BUT it is focused on midfight disabling which helps ever so much when you go against foes that shoot back without being a crutch ability like Horizon's everything, Grapple, etc. And his ult is just unlimited ammo which is perfect for teamfighting.
I know what you mean about people who use their mic. Every time I’m on a team with people who communicate well I come top 3 at least. I had a run of games the other day where we came 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th (we trolled), 1st and 2nd, with almost 20 kills as a team every game. Then you get a team where nobody comms until you die and THEN they get on the mic to call everyone trash. Usually after they W keyed into the middle of 3 teams and tried to 1v9 while you and your other teammate were already fighting another team because you’ve been trying to keep up with your octane/pathfinder who’s just been racing all over the map with absolutely no regard for good positioning whatsoever. Either that or one teammate goes east and the other goes west and you just give up on them and find a good place to rat. I thought this behaviour would stop in diamond but if anything it’s even worse than it was in gold.
his entire kit is power full but not exactly fun per say, his abilities are just ways to make guns better or get more his only gun that isn't dependent on a gun is his tac. so it can seem stale because it feels like you only got 1 unique abilities. its really sad to see.
im top 200 ballistic. hes a great pick. great in 1v1 but team plays are crazy too with the ult. he deserves more love, but at the same time don't pick him so I always get him lol

Why would you play ballistic when you can play fuse and have 21 different abilities with just fuse alone. You got two knuckle clusters I do 75 damage each that you're able to use every 10 seconds that also give you a speed boost when you hit somebody with it then you can shoot the ring of fire and scan people inside the ring of fire and you can also run through your fire without being slowed down hold 30 different grenades and the list goes on with fuse. Respawn is not in the business of balancing s*** they're in the business of just shuffling s*** around to make it look like they're doing their job.
Of course it's sleep on..he even is hated for no actual reason and that's just DUMB.. Everyone is like "I only see X legend and Y legend" but they will never try to play any other legend than the X and Y legend they mentioned before... Literally u can buff all low picked legends with each update, more and more to the point where they are very good and players will still play the no brainer ones 😂 I'm proud to be a Ballistic main! 🫡

If the ult came back quicker it would be better. Most 3 stacks just wait out the 30 seconds on a headglitch once they see the ult

Your skill is what is making him look so good. I always say pros can make the 2020 look like the meta
A lot of you also over estimate how good you actually are. And then blame it on the legend, or the weapon or your team mates etc.

Yeah, the tactical is very rarely a factor. It takes too long to lock on, hit and cause the overheat. You are better off shooting your gun.

I love Ballistic! He's the most consistent legend to use double Mastiff (one in the sling). I would love if he had the auto reload shotgun perk

Okay so Yesterday I got my first 10 bomb with Ballistic. Won the solo game with 17 kills, it's really good if you play him right.

You got two knuckle clusters I do 75 damage each that you're able to use every 10 seconds that also give you a speed boost when you hit somebody with it then you can shoot the ring of fire and scan people inside the ring of fire and you can also run through your fire without being slowed down hold 30 different grenades and the list goes on with fuse. Respawn is not in the business of balancing s*** they're in the business of just shuffling s*** around to make it look like they're doing their job.
Of course it's sleep on..he even is hated for no actual reason and that's just DUMB.. Everyone is like "I only see X legend and Y legend" but they will never try to play any other legend than the X and Y legend they mentioned before... Literally u can buff all low picked legends with each update, more and more to the point where they are very good and players will still play the no brainer ones 😂
