Great cause and great trip. I do trail maintenance at my local desert park here outside of Phoenix and we are constantly knocking down the sides of the trails and filling the ruts with rocks after rains. Those ruts could use a lot of attention to improve the trail and reduce further destruction. Driving in wet, muddy conditions only damages the trails even more, which goes against David's philosophy of "leave it better than you found it"...
This does my heart good to see!! When I backpack RRG I always bring a couple extra gallon zip locks for a little detail. If open to the public may need to bring the bronco down sometime. :-) good works guys. Also got to enjoy the bench a month ago on my first trip on the DBBB. Beautiful area.
great story. I've watched a few of your video's about the DBBB and it's made my list of trail rides to go do and it's on the east coast so big plus. Can't wait to see the next thank you
Great time and a great video capturing a absolutely awesome time for a great cause. And a great tribute to a young advocate we can all look up to. Love and prayers for the family of young David. ❤️
@@CoddiwompleOverland that part was the highlight of the trip in my opinion. An complete honor to be part of to put it straight . Thank y’all for letting us join.
Thank you for your maintenance work on this route! We went through the DBBB for the first time over Labor Day weekend and it was great. I will have a video covering it up next week.
I look forward to your video on the DBBB. I enjoy your videos and have learned a lot about the badlands from watching them. That place gets confusing without someone to guide you.
I love all of your content and your wife does a great job filming. However, I have a question about another area in DBBB? Do you know if the overlook off of Cave Fork Rd. has reopened to the public?
@@CoddiwompleOverland Thank you and keep up the great work! My wife and I are from Colorado and new to the KY area. Your videos has helped us explore new adventures here in Ky. Thanks again!
Another awesome video and beautiful tribute to David. It was two years ago when my wife and I were down there in October and we ran Spring Mountain in my stock TJ! Lucky we had a winch. We will be back down there again this year Oct 23-30 with both Jeeps and the kids. Feeling better that they are on 33's and 35's now, but still sketchy it seems. Looking forward to it and will have to reach out to some local Jeep groups to find out who to wheel with. Amazing to see the changes in the trail in two years. Keep up the awesome the videos, we are starting to plan camping trips and vacations around trails we see others run. Iron Gap Road in TN/AL was another such trail, so fun. Thanks again.
Beautiful rig! . Are you running 37s on the Dana 30? I have a sport edition that I regeared to 4.88 with 35s, but planning to upgrade to 37s. Any advice?

It is open to the public!
Awesome video!! I need to stop making excuses and make time to visit this trail system..
Thanks!
I have to say, I absolutely love that the old YJ made it up that obstacle! #SAVETHESQUARES #HIPTOBESQUARE
Yea he sure bounced right up it!
🙏🙏
Thank you!
mt. spring is not a medium trail...that's crazy. I'm glad I dipped out and joined the light team
What would you rate Mtn. Srings?

Great to see people who are willing to cleanup other people's messes!
Yes it was. They had a great turnout

We loved Colorado and welcome to Kentucky!
I really like Jeeps (own3), but it’s fun to see the verity of vehicles trying to make it down the trail !

Thank you so much and thanks for watching!
2 door jeeps for the win. That's why I got a 2door.
That was a fun event. We did the light-medium group and ended up having a blast. Hope to see you there in May as well.
Yes it was a great event. See you in the spring!
Nice video. It seems like the FJ’s just never do well.
Thanks, he did seem to struggle a bit.

We are running 37's with 44s front and rear and 5.13 gears
The FJ guy needs to learn to use momentum better.
Yes he does. This was actually his first time wheeling...
