I hope Secret Wars ends in a soft reset that allows the main Avengers, Spider-Man, X-Men, and FF to all exist in the same world at the same time like in the comics.

X Men 97 should stay as their own universe to tell more grand and complex stories that can't be wrapped up in a two hour movie. They would really have no limitations.
97 is its own thing, I get the whole multiverse thing, but even Feige and the creator of 97 have said its a standalone. The fox X-men are currently Canon until it is changed by the reset, LIKE IT OR NOT. Deadpool 3 was Canon, and they made Logan, the end of the X-men timeline, Canon

He himself was given a redemption arc in the best way possible. If the demon in an armor story didn’t exist, then I’d agree that this doesn’t work. If No Way Home and Loki didn’t exist either, then this REALLY wouldn’t work.
Why it wouldn't work? it can just be considered as classic MCU character recycling, turning them into another character by adding layers to their previous character. Example is White Wolf and Mordok. Questionable virtue, high Ego and Intellect is already present on Tony Stark so it wouldn't be so hard to make him the Doom. Just add some trauma and send him to Kamar-taj and he's basically Dr. Doom
I personally LOVE the idea of Miles Teller’s Reed Richards back as The Maker. I would also love to see Nick Cage’s Ghost Rider, Thomas Jane back as The Punisher or War Machine Punisher, 03’ Hulk back or even as version of Maestro. My last wish is obscure but it could be so cool… Toei Spider-Man (Japanese version). Him coming into battle with the other Spider-verse characters and his robot Leopardon would be EPIC.
I'm sure RDJ will totally kill it. But can't help feeling like it's a bit of a disservice to the OG Victor Von Doom. He deserves a proper origin set up. But hey it's multiverse now so they can make anything they want now.

You're wrong, Marvel's contract with Sony says Marvel has control of how Spider Man is presented in film and Sony has to adhere to those set guidelines or the film rights to the character revert back to Marvel. Sony can't change anything in regards to how Peter is portrayed, his sexuality etc. They have to stay consistent to how the character has always been presented.
Sony has certain final authority over casting and the script when it comes to Spider-Man which is one of the issues behind the lack of news of what the next Spider-Man film will be about. Marvel it seems wants the next Spidey film to be street level and feature Daredevil,The Kingpin, and the Punisher. Sony wants to duplicate the success of No Way Home (and set up additional Toby McGuire and Andrew Garfield produced Spider-Man films)by having another crossover Spider-Man film which Marvel sees as stepping on Secret Wars. It seems that Marvel and Sony are heading towards a compromise where elements of both storylines will be used.
Bring in the badass character actors that did the heavy lifting in the Roger Corman F4 from the 90s. Whole lot better than what we got in the 2010s that's for damn sure.

I firmly believe the animated Xmen will play a pivotal role in Doomsday and Secret War. Wouldn't reboot it otherwise. They don't need to be animated, it'd be off-putting, just bring them into live action
I can tell you right now, Wanda Maximoff went to that void in Deadpool and Wolverine. There is a Statue Of Wanda I think it is in the underground base of Blade, Gambit , Electra , and X 23. I suspect that was why Dr Strange went into the Void and was killed by Cassandra Nova.

I was born in 82 so I grew up hard in the animated series camp, X-Men, Batman, Spider-Man. I had an uncle that did some time in prison and he would send me all the comics that he already read so I went down through there in the Cris Claremont X-Men days. What would be insane would be to see the animated characters walk through a Dr Strange portal and becoming Live Action versions of themselves. If done well I think that could be really cool.
Regarding Spider-Man characters in the MCU, I'm hoping they largely keep them separate from the Spider-Verse series - for now. What I mean by that is that Miguel may be - intentionally or unintentionally - trimming the connections in the Web of Life and Destiny to keep his branch of the multiverse separate from the rest of the MCU. The only event we've seen bridge the gap so far was No Way Home - with Miguel mentioning "Doctor Strange and that little nerd back on Earth-199999" and both crossing over with Venom's universe (which would make that part of the Spider-Verse side). This would keep the movies largely isolated from anything Marvel decides to pull, and _might_ even preserve it across an event like Secret Wars. It's a branch that's overall less stable than the rest (-> glitching outside your own universe) - however, in turn they managed to develop stabilization tech that may stave off the effect of incursions. So it could be a branch that Loki didn't manage to grab, but isn't immediately unraveling either. This way you can set up a more contained live action roster of Spider characters in the MCU. Possibly with variants of some Spider-Verse characters. I'd love to see the scrawny nerd variant of Miguel from the original Spider-Verse comics for example. Then you can later bring those over into Spider-Verse later. Something along the lines of them exploring the Web of Life and Destiny from their end, and managing to open a connection across the division, raining on Miguel's parade and proving him wrong by example...
I feel like bringing the animated characters to the live action universe would be very cool but also very distracting. Just walking around people would notice, but I think they could remedy this by creating tech or a spell that synced them with the live action. So you would get to see them for a short period in their animated form for the excitement, then transform them to their live action counterpart. They could even cover them with one of those shield chameleon suits or something, and as the battle goes on, it takes damage, and you can see more of their animated self. So, like in an end battle, they are animated at the end. They could really have fun with this
A cool idea with the Loki dies thing is: The new life for a singular timeline universe could just be a seed from the multiverse-tree that Loki creates as a safeguard or it "sprouts" from the tree towards its end to spawn the new universe. Thats my take with the whole tree motive the multiverse has atm.
Calling it now: the multiverse will collapse in Doomsday, but then Doom or someone is going to come in and prune a bunch of worlds and it'll make The Void into Battleworld
Ok i have the perfect theory for RDJ as Doctor Doom (Not based off previous comics) 1. RDJ is playing a Tony Stark Variant from the new Fantastic Gour Universe. In this world, Tony from the 1st Iron Man Movie never escaped out of the cave and the original Mach 1 Iron had a misfire and accidentally disfigured Tony. Stark enterprises never progressed from that point due Tony never returned to his birthright. Instead he creates a new identity as Doom based off being an Arms Dealer. He makes a sizable fortune from his endeavors. Since stark enterprises stalls without Tony at the head, a new smartest man steps up as Reed Richard’s and they move into the tower and rename it Baxter Building and the story writes itself
I would really love it if somewhere in the second act they sent the spiders away (the main trio) and then right as all the avengers and mutliversal xmen and four get beat, all of a sudden you just hear the faintest wooohoooo as all these spider-people swing in. If they did the deadpool corps, they can manage a bit of Spider-Verse.
Tom is 100% getting the black suit in SM4. How? Who knows, there could be a bunch of decent explanations on how he ends up with it. A lot of people played 2 characters in movies outside of the MCU continuity, and for everyone who's played 2 characters in the MCU they were pretty minor roles that are hardly memorable. The closest you get to this in the MCU is Gemma Chan playing Minerva and Cersi.

What if on the majority of worlds It was Tom Cruise that was Iron Man. But on the prime Earth Anthony Stark instead adopted a little baby from a gypsy family in Lavaria?

Regarding Spider-Man characters in the MCU, I'm hoping they largely keep them separate from the Spider-Verse series - for now.
What I mean by that is that Miguel may be - intentionally or unintentionally - trimming the connections in the Web of Life and Destiny to keep his branch of the multiverse separate from the rest of the MCU. The only event we've seen bridge the gap so far was No Way Home - with Miguel mentioning "Doctor Strange and that little nerd back on Earth-199999" and both crossing over with Venom's universe (which would make that part of the Spider-Verse side).
This would keep the movies largely isolated from anything Marvel decides to pull, and _might_ even preserve it across an event like Secret Wars. It's a branch that's overall less stable than the rest (-> glitching outside your own universe) - however, in turn they managed to develop stabilization tech that may stave off the effect of incursions. So it could be a branch that Loki didn't manage to grab, but isn't immediately unraveling either.
This way you can set up a more contained live action roster of Spider characters in the MCU. Possibly with variants of some Spider-Verse characters. I'd love to see the scrawny nerd variant of Miguel from the original Spider-Verse comics for example.
Then you can later bring those over into Spider-Verse later. Something along the lines of them exploring the Web of Life and Destiny from their end, and managing to open a connection across the division, raining on Miguel's parade and proving him wrong by example...

I feel like bringing the animated characters to the live action universe would be very cool but also very distracting. Just walking around people would notice, but I think they could remedy this by creating tech or a spell that synced them with the live action. So you would get to see them for a short period in their animated form for the excitement, then transform them to their live action counterpart. They could even cover them with one of those shield chameleon suits or something, and as the battle goes on, it takes damage, and you can see more of their animated self. So, like in an end battle, they are animated at the end. They could really have fun with this
A cool idea with the Loki dies thing is: The new life for a singular timeline universe could just be a seed from the multiverse-tree that Loki creates as a safeguard or it "sprouts" from the tree towards its end to spawn the new universe. Thats my take with the whole tree motive the multiverse has atm.

Ok i have the perfect theory for RDJ as Doctor Doom (Not based off previous comics)
1. RDJ is playing a Tony Stark Variant from the new Fantastic Gour Universe. In this world, Tony from the 1st Iron Man Movie never escaped out of the cave and the original Mach 1 Iron had a misfire and accidentally disfigured Tony. Stark enterprises never progressed from that point due Tony never returned to his birthright. Instead he creates a new identity as Doom based off being an Arms Dealer. He makes a sizable fortune from his endeavors. Since stark enterprises stalls without Tony at the head, a new smartest man steps up as Reed Richard’s and they move into the tower and rename it Baxter Building and the story writes itself

A lot of people played 2 characters in movies outside of the MCU continuity, and for everyone who's played 2 characters in the MCU they were pretty minor roles that are hardly memorable. The closest you get to this in the MCU is Gemma Chan playing Minerva and Cersi.
