Everybody got their own twist on how to dress up instant noodles but dropping an egg in there will always be essential
Crazy... I randomly started throwing kraft American cheese in with my ramen back in middle school (now 35) along with other fixings of course. Total comfort food. Crazy to see Chef Roy does the same thing. Most my friends have always thought I was nuts.
Saw this video when it first came out. I will never forget this video and recipe. It's been years now and I'm still doing this same exact recipe. Food for the soul.
SO. For a few weeks in a row, I tried using real cheddar cheese as opposed to American cheese, and PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS. The cheddar doesn't mix well in normal water, and just clumps up in huge chunks and sinks to the bottom. American Cheese incorporates perfectly into the hot broth, making for a very creamy and delicious treat.
True..if using real cheese you'll have wanna put directly into broth and the lay noodles
Do you think I can use cheddar cheese slices?
@@Yami_Spirit What did he just say..

Just found his book in my school. This guy should be a much Bigger name than he is. Seems really good.
Tried this out last night, its a bomb. thanks choi
Been making this for years with lettuce instead of other green stuff usually. Just made it for my girlfriend 2 nights in a row and now she knows how to make it. Lol. Love this ramen technique.
Doesn't the lettuce become all nasty from the heat?
@@Daniilo11 Nope. Have you ever heard of lettuce miso soup? It's pretty dang good, and a great way to use up leftover lettuce. I haven't ever added it to ramen, but I've been thinking about it.
I always admire roi che, hes my new kpop idol♡♡
Roy choi is my hero!
Delicious

@@vince.6878 - This is a joyous occasion.
This vid randomly pops in my head all the time while I’m dressing up ramen. Since it first came out. It’s not even that unique or elaborate, but I’ve been looking for it myself the past couple of years.
futureman3000 I thought I was the only one 🤦🏾♂️
Good with a splash of hot sauce and fresh squeezed lime.
This has been my go to snack for about 2 years now and the only reason I go to walmart (only place they sell ichi ban for 0.69!).
You just taught me how to make your recipe thank you so much, ima try it out today for sure yet I'm missing one ingredient I'm sure I can add my own twist if that's ok
Big fan of Instant
Ramen & You may be the wrong person to ask---it has been said Ramen is
formed with wax or has some wax in the processing. Any thoughts.
You look the part! Great video.
We think the wax is more fiction than true
Adding the wax will cost more than the noodles itself, so most probably not.
I’ve made this it’s awesome
I gotta try this
wow, he's sooo cool
lol
This looks great, and I'll probably do this sometime soon, but the recipe/procedure at Tip Hero would drastically overcook the noodles. Ramen-flavored mush, yuck. XP
Looks delicious!
I make this récipe a lot of times at 3 or 4 am, totally worth it ;)
the coolest guy in the world
What brand of instant ramen? I feel like the cheese in ramen was a thing in South Korea already.
You can read it on the flavoring packet. Sapporo Ichiban.
@@SalmanRavoof Thanks.
Made this once.. didnt enjoy it. Must just be his childhood comfort meal.
skip the cheese

perfect instant ramen your feet only add cheese?
Always fascinating to see some Korean dudes who speak in urban black vernacular
so many different minorities live in urban neighborhoods and they adapt to the vernacular-- Los Angeles living.
When you grow up in minority communities it tends to happen
it tastes aight
You should pour the first batch of hot water away first
Too much water. Skip the cheese.
Eating two instant-ramens at once, that’s 12 days worth of sodium right there. Better keep the jug of water by the bed my man.
So uh.... When are you gonna teach me how to cook crystal meth and placenta?
emotional damage
lol, why?
