- When I was a young boy, I usually wondered why my parents are poor. Though I knew most other people were poor too, since I saw a few people who seemed to be rich, I wondered why everyone wasn’t just rich (or at least, my parents). At about 17, I started my financial education.
Nobody was as curious as I was. I simply wanted to read every book on the planet, so that I could figure out why some people are successful and others aren’t.
It was a rewarding exercise as I started discovering what most people didn’t know about life, success, and money. A few years later I was in the business world and I kept on studying, even till this day. This video is made to show you the number one thing every rich person knows but which most of them will never say on the TV. I always remember one main thing:
Despise not small beginnings. I worked to have a healthy investment, emergency, and standard stash while bills are paid 5 months in the future. It's called discipline with money combined with leverage.

So basically what your saying is that some people become rich by starting a business, hiring employees and then growing the business, and this is supposedly the big evil secret of the rich?
The fact is most people are too lazy and risk-averse to do this, and that's no secret.

I have learnt one verrrrrry serious truth about money. IT IS NOT FOR WHAT WE THINK IT IS. IT IS FOR SUBJUGATION AND CONTROL. IT COMPARTMENTALISES PEOPLE. THE HAVING OF MONEY KEEPS THE RICH AWAY FROM THE POOR. IT MAKES YOU "ONE OF THEM"SINCE YOU ARE NEVER PAID WHAT YOU DESERVE, YOU ARE PAID WHAT ALLOWS "THEM" TO KEEP YOU IN LINE AND UNDER THEIR CONTROL. WHICH IS WHY EVERYTIME WE PRAY, WE PRAY FOR MONEY. WE ARE CONTROLLED

It's no secret and the poor will not become rich until they decide to listen & take action. The poor don't listen.
It's not the poor's fault it's the school and government. They have taken financial literacy out of the education and replaced with garbage on borrowing and debt and becoming a "slave" to the system. True there are some ignorant people but that's because they have been conditioned to stay poor.

I agree with most of the comments below; every person has different skills and abilities, different levels of drive and motivation. I know some people who are broke - you can offer them a job to just show up for a $1,000 a week, and they would turn you right down simply because they don't want to do anything!

Working poor people are lazy? You mean the hardest working people in the world that can't get ahead are lazy??? Man...imagine if every or most kitchen worker(s) or retail worker strived on becoming rich...you probably would wait for a really long time cause the lone employee would have to do five jobs for the entire restaurant. This unrealistic idea is better than just compensating employees way better and maybe helping them advance instead of just utilizing them in an endless cycle.

What some people do not realize is that 100% of this earth resources belong to everyone, not just 1% and leaving the rest of the 99% begging for a raise from their employers to eat better and live a decent life. That is why there should be a stop on economic inequality.
People work because they want to provide for themselves and others. Therefore the 99% of the people who are employees deserve a more balanced economy. People need fuel to keep going. The lack of food and resources brings people down with fewer chances to keep contributing to society. That is why many people go poor and homeless not because they choose to but because of the economic inequality.
Remember that if you are the type who wants to make a lot of money that we all are individuals and the word individual = as 1, therefore, people should see themselves as individuals or 1% of the entire fraction and do the best possible to make your 1% worth more to get more from the entire pie of whatever you do.

Wealth is like beauty, it’s genetic. If you are born with the right genetics you will think like a wealthy person and will become wealthy. If you don’t have the genetics which allows you to think in this manner, you will not become wealthy. You can’t just make up your mind to think a certain way, either-you have to be genetically predisposed to it. Great video, but not the whole story, in my opinion.
No it's education financial education which is not taught in schools. And it's not genetics it's advice wealthy people pass on to Thier children generation after generation. If everyone is wealthy no one will be able to do the work.

Not everyone can become a entrepreneur. If you have ever been homeless or hungry you don't take risks that can put you in the gutter. On the other hand not taking those risks can put you in a bad situation too.

You can thank Rockefeller and Morgan for that in 1904. They influenced the government to pull financial literacy from the curriculum to make sure a weak docile obedient workforce is available. Yes you can't hate the rich because it's not Thier fault it's just how the game is played but the rules are not given. It's better than comunism. Imagine going to work and hating the job you do the boss who treats you like an animal and no chance to invest save or buy anything you want or leave that job to go to another one because the state has issued you that job take it or leave it and starve and die. Worse you can be sent to a work camp for " the need of the people" and work there until you drop.
