ChristianBolt there's nothing wrong with iron plates, they just f your sleeves up. If you want, I can show you the difference between a bars sleeves that's been used with iron plates and one that hasn't.

Good review. Sure, Rogue is among the highest quality vendors of fitness equipment but for about that same amount of $ you can get a good hex trap bar from Titan, a great EZ curl bar from XMARK, and a super curl bar from CFF...
I have this bar now and yeah its more worth it than the cheaper bars.the other bars are lighter and some are even uncomfortable and none of those cheaper bars you upload as much weight as you can with this bar. This one is good and so is the curl bar that's from iron fitness its also 30 pounds who knows maybe a little more its the curl bar you see in a lot of la fitness gyms but not in all of them.but that one is in the 400s who knows how much the full price when you add it to your cart.so this one is the better cheaper offer and its also 30 pounds so yeah
You can get a shitty bar that probably isn't finished as nice, but does the same thing, if you want. Curl bars in general don't have a ton of use, so performance wise, there just won't be any differences. I reviewed this bar because people asked me to do it, not because I needed a fancy $200 curl bar.
but you didn't say that in the video... all you had to say was that the quality of the bar is very good but it will perform like any other "cheap crappy bar bought on amazon" so 200$ would be spend just for the look... telling people to buy something that cost 4X times a product that perform the same isn't a review
I didn't say to buy anything, you can figure that out by yourself. I went over the specs, what I like about it, and why I would buy it - which is pretty much what I do in all my reviews. Just because I didn't compare it directly to a crappy curl bar doesn't mean it's not a review, nor does it mean that you shouldn't buy this. You don't have to buy anything I review - I make recommendations and you can figure it out from there.
if you don't judge the price/quality of a product it isn't a review but a commercial.. a "crappy" 50$/€ curl bar can hold over 250kg... i don't think that if nike were to sell their metcon at 400$ anyone would recomend them...what's different with bars?

I agree, in my opinion Bumper plates look good, But very expensive. Iron plates are tried and true and economical compared to Bumper plates.
