Do you have any idea where they got the title of the movie? There's this obscure 1978 National Lampoon book called The Naked and the Nude about Hollywood and movies, and it has a list of hundreds of titles of non-existent movies in the back that's hilarious, and I can't believe how many real life things have come from this obscure list. Christmas on Mars is one of the names, and for instance it's where Adam and the Ants got the title for their song Pablo Picasso Visits the Planet of the Apes. I haven't seen Steven since I discovered that Christmas on Mars was one of the names on the list, so obviously I haven't been able to ask him...

@@KenLieck It's an interesting question for sure, I'll have to see if I can find an interview with Wayne where he talks about it

I only just recently discovered this channel, and I love it so much. Steven Drozd is my uncle. Not blood-related, though. My mom’s sister is married to him. (Might explain why I’m not musically talented at all, heh)
I find it absolutely incredible that he recovered from being addicted to heroin for so long. Talking to him now, I would’ve never suspected he had dealt with such things. He’s such an easygoing, calm guy whenever I see him on family visits. I have endless respect for his work, and everything he’s gone through in the process.

    I Love Steven.
One of my favorite attributes about him is his pure honesty mixed with innocence.
    He’s so good like that.

Same, I'm not ashamed of it. Well, it took a few years to get there, but I do regret it
5 years sober as I type this

This man is my idol in life. I too became an addict and have lost friends and family and have had friends die of it. I’m so glad to be in recovering and I owe it all to Steven the Lips and a few other artists including Zappa and Tame Impala. ✌️ and ❤ everyone
