    We actually learned in my psych class that for the majority of students, taking notes is more of a distraction than a benefit

    Starting college this fall and this video has given me really great ideas, not only for finishing off my senior year of high school, but for the start of my freshman year of college! This series is absolutely GREAT and I look forward to new videos! Thank you!!

    I've never heard of the out of order studying tip but it makes so much sense! This video was so helpful thank you!

  • @horseeloverr1
    @horseeloverr1 10 лет назад

    Omg ur tip about not studying ur notes in the same order each time is sooooo true!! I've actually noticed tht on my tests I'll either remember the beginning the best or the end the best, but never everything and I didn't understand why bc I would study so much!! Thanks so much Caitlin!

    You're like the 5th vlogger I've seen today mention slugbooks in a video haha, must be a total coincidence ;)

    • @howaboutstefanie
      @howaboutstefanie 10 лет назад +5

      What's also coincidental is that they all apparently used to use/currently use the site....hmmm is that really the honest truth? I'm all for RUclipsrs making the money they deserve, but when they blatantly lie to subscribers for a sponsorship it makes me question what else they're dishonest about. Just be open with us about the fact that you're getting paid to plug a product. It's not a big deal.

    • @CosmoMonster
      @CosmoMonster 10 лет назад +8

      Little Bird Films Literally every college student I know uses Slugbooks. It's not a sponsorship.

    • @CaitlinBea
      @CaitlinBea  10 лет назад +5

      Little Bird Films I just wanna step in & tell you myself that I do not believe in lying to my subscribers, that would be an awful thing to do! I trust the youtubers I watch myself when they say they like or dislike something, which helps me make decisions when I'm in the store or online shopping, so I would be devastated if they were lying to me. Please don't assume things because that's not what I stand for! Plus, slugbooks is freakin' awesome & my wallet is happier this semester hehe

    • @howaboutstefanie
      @howaboutstefanie 10 лет назад +1

      CosmoMonster So it's just a coincidence that 6 popular RUclipsrs dropped the exact same product plug in their videos in a manner of two days. Yup. Makes sense.

    Great video! I just graduated college and totally agree with everything you said! In HS i never studied more then two nights in advance for a test- in college you literally need to review the material the night you learn it to do well! When midterms and finals roll around, there is way too much info to study! I studied like crazy and finished my BA in psych with an overall gpa of 3.96! Study hard- it'll pay off! Good luck Caitlin- gr8 video!! :)

    Once your know your classes for the next term, email the profs and ask them for the ISBN number of the book(s) they're using for that class (even ask them if there's some suggested reading you could do before the first class). Not only does it give you a head start on getting the books and for the class, but you've also earned some additional visibility.
