Mosky Audio Dolphin overdrive: The Ultimate OCD Clone?

The new 'M Series' from Mosky Audio has been causing some buzz in gear forums all over the Internet lately, and this OCD-inspired, 'Dolphin' overdrive caught my eye in particular...
This circuit has been one of my favourites for a long time, and the Dolphin is the best and most versatile example of the OCD I've ever come across, thanks to the four clipping modes and slim, 125b enclosure with top jacks.
Not bad for £50!

My pleasure! 😊 I always try to put out videos that aren't already covered elsewhere, and Mosky don't seem to send out demo units to reviewers as far as I can tell, which explains why there aren't many demos for these pedals, since not many people can be arsed to spend their own money.
Yeah, I'll try and get those other pedals demoed at some point, but I've got my eye on their reverb pedal, next...

could it be compared to actual OCD? It seems clones really have hard time coming close to the original so Im looking for that

Like I said, I'm afraid I haven't tried a real OCD before. But most drive clones are pretty close to their original counterparts. Gain circuits aren't that complicated, really. Despite what people who are trying to sell them, may tell you. 😄

Funny you call the jewel LED cheap, as it's the same style Spaceman Effects use on their pedals. 😜
