I once met them in person and took my was like "you're the dudes from alexisonfire" and they told me they were not. Then went up on stage and played a full show a half hour later. Legends.
This was the first “scream” band I had ever heard. Not a single thing like it before 2005. My tastes have changed over time but they will always be the reason I am into metal/hardcore in the first place. Great video.

Man, this makes me feel happy and sad at the same time. As a 32 year old that has been a huge Alexis fan since I was like 14/15 years old and seeing them live in Australia back in like 2007/08 I’m extremely grateful of their music and how it still emotionally effects me every time I hear them. And I’m so happy and proud of how far they have gone! But same time it makes me sad because time is escaping us all, they were better,simpler times and it reminds me that we are all racing to our demise.

This by far is the best live version I've seen of adelleda in this time period. It's my favourite Alexis song and I'm very happy to have seen it with much better quality all around.
My youth was growing up in a small town not unlike Sussex a province over in Nova Scotia, going to shows at extremely similar venues during a similar time frame as this show. Saw quite a few bands that ended up having decent followings, never AOF though (though I saw them later in Halifax). That said watching this video gave me a serious feeling deja vu and I loved every second of it.
LOL the time era when people still showed up with that Mo hawk with massive spikes. Love it! What a throwback! Pretty sure I saw them for this tour in BC

My broke 19 year old ass had recently moved to Moncton but couldn't manage to check them out since i was still nursing a freshly broken ankle. I'm sure that night i was sitting in my crappy apartment loading a few of their songs into Winamp..
I miss these days. No cell phones. People were present in the moment. They were always super talented...they deserve all the fame and fortune that came their way...and they never forgot where they came from.

I saw them a few months prior to this in London ON. They opened for Mushroomhead and Godsmack(odd line up but still awesome!). With all the gear up on the stage for the other bands Alexisonfire didn't have much room. All I remembered was them with the most energy, kicking and given'er!
