As a 32 year old that has been a huge Alexis fan since I was like 14/15 years old and seeing them live in Australia back in like 2007/08 I’m extremely grateful of their music and how it still emotionally effects me every time I hear them. You just don't see this kind of music support anymore. Insane they're playing to a crowd with all the lights on and no production and it was awesome. I remember this same gig in Fredericton.

Oh man.. December of 2003. I still remember that these guys were playing in the area. My broke 19 year old ass had recently moved to Moncton but couldn't manage to check them out since i was still nursing a freshly broken ankle. I'm sure that night i was sitting in my crappy apartment loading a few of their songs into Winamp..

"And then one day you find
Ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run
      You missed the starting gun
And you run, and you run to catch up with the sun
      But it's sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in a relative way
      But you're older
Shorter of breath, and one day closer to death"
