I grew up 10 minutes away from Looney Tunes. Would ride my bike there every time I scrounged up $17. They always had the coolest imports abd rare stuff. But more importantly I wish everyone realized how small of a space they're playing in lol. And sounding this good
The quality inside this tiny CD store is absolutely nutzo. Alexisonfire, Billy Talent, Silverstein & Protest The Hero really deserve more credit for being some of the most influential musicians in Canadian history. But more particularly, for their contributions to Ontario's and North America's post hardcore scene throughout the early 2000s to present day.
Back in 2003-2004 I would be at EVERY Toronto show. (or at least most). they would usually be touring with , Death from Above(opener), BIlly Talent, and they would headline. Some of the greatest shows I've been part of to this day. I say be a part of because Alexisonfire really made it so you would feel as if you were part of it.. I will NEVER forget that one show at 'The Opera House' back in (pretty sure) 2003; when George climbed the 25foot tall stacks siding the stage mid song , kept up his vocals, stood up at the top of the left (stageright) 25give or take speaker stacks , waited for the heavy drop and then dove into the crowd. We caught him and he continued to crowd surf for the remainder of the song. Shieeeeeeeet..... I was 13 years old then, I was there to help catch him. Probably one of the best memories to this day,. ps. I think that was the same show when Wade MacNeil was jamming sooo hard that he smashed his guitar on his face and the bottom half of the guitar literally snapped off! Head was pouring blood and sh*t, kept playing. GODDAMNNN ALEXISONFIRE WAS TTTHHHEEE BAND!!
@@tomhodgson3203 very dope man. I had a Detroit Rock city moment with the band. Warped tour 2009, alexisonfires drummer rat beard throws a drum stick into the crowd and I catch it in the air. Best AOF live moment for me.
Saw aof live twice in North Bay once at the capitol center during the crisis tour and once at the wall during the old crows tour. Amazing shows, so excited to be seeing them again in august at the rodgers center in toronto
No way! I'm chocked with this presentation, so fucking talented: George, Wade, Dallas. Just saw their concert in Brazil last month and the quality is quite the same. They're AWESOME! Waited 12 years for the show and if Alexisonfire was the favorite band of my tennager, now, for sure, it is a band of my life. Thank you so much for sharing this jewel! Just one more prove they are TIMELESS
it's only because of this video that I noticed the incredible drumming on no transitory :) I mean, every song is aweome of AOF but sometimes you need this or that moment to 'discover' some stuff your ears took for granted :D
saw them in 2005 at Give It A Name festival in London and this brings back some good memories. Remember not knowing too much about them and being blown away by their energy on stage, been a fan ever since!

Its fucking mind blowing how good they sound live especially under these conditions

I love to rep Canadian bands, especially Ontario. I could toss in Silverstein, Seaway and PUP just out the gates. So under appreciated.
Don't forget Comeback Kid, Death From Above
We almost forget how helpful MuchMusic used to be to help give bands a leg up.
Cough, cough Propagandhi Cough, cough
And Brian Adams
Great old school footage of the greatest Canadian band of all time
Greatest band of this millennium
They’re the frickin best. Loved the evolution of the band. Saw them live for every tour they did in Canada.

I'm sure none of them imagined that in 15 years they still will be playing in huge venues.
Daaaamn you've had this footage for 17 years and only uploaded it now?! :O What a time capsule, thank you very much.
That's sick they actually play that segue from Funeral to No Transitory as its intro
Jesse had the touch on the drums
Those were the days.........
One time at our school bar in North Bay I followed them from backstage to near onstage. For that 45 second walk I felt like a rockstar.
I was at that concert that was like 3 days before they split up
This video is the best thing I've watched this year. Outstanding performance by them, the quality is perfect as well.
The only band ever.
New albums gonna be lit af!
Pure Gold ❤
Old school Alexis is dope 🤘🏽
Sweet vid. Fucking atticus T-shirt blasting me back in time to a much happier period.
Saw the the day before at vintage vinyl, just as good
I been listening to aof since they came out. Seen them live a bunch back in the day
Best canadian band. Ever!
if the people watching only knew how legendary this band would become
I miss them sooo much
like gold
This is amazing! Thank you for pulling it out of the archives! #theonlybandever
Crazy this came in to my feed today, I was just talking to a friend about us seeing them at the next show after this.
Melhor banda!
Long live alexisonfire
i love this fuc...ing band.. from argentina!!!
Hell yeah with the Atticus shirt, Chris!
To think I saw them 18-24 months later in Germany for 6 euros with cancer bats in 2006 !
Thank you for this beautiful piece of art. The best and only band ever.
These guys are time travellers
Thanks for bringing back memories. The Most underrated band of all time. Seeing them live in their early days will always be a cherished memory.
That scream in No Transitory is money.

Jesse Ingelevics is a sweet drummer
I just watched an interview he did somewhat recently. Glad to see he's still kicking, I've been looking for more stuff.
@Sly_Wolf YT woah !!
@twnsn keep it on wax
@@Trowa71 I thought he died in an avalanche? ;)
@Mitchell Brown leave the band? I thought they had done it
this is such an aesthetic goal

Why isn’t posting the set list allowed?
You know what's crazy? I see you posted it but RUclips is not showing it for some reason.

No its www.looneytuneslongisland.com/
Babylon, NY
Lol I was searching the comments to see if it was Burlington, ON
Why didn't they just play Funeral first into No Transitory? Haha bit of an odd choice there
