Kitaro- I just saw your “break up” video. So sorry you are going through that pain and inconvenience. We have not met but I follow you and will continue to do so on your new channel. You are a brilliant and deep teacher and you have done great honor to Wim Hof. It is a shame that those in charge of his business do not recognize and appreciate that.
At some point a child needs to break away from their parent. This is your moment. You have earned your wings. this new beginning will allow you to fly without restrictions or boundaries. Congratulations and thank you for sharing your journey and wisdom, friend.

I'm 69 and have always been fit. I've exercised daily for years and done long distance running and biking, etc. I stumbled onto the WHM, oddly enough, by hearing about it on a German RUclips channel where the creator talked about the WHM method helping with his back problems, which I have had. Long story short, I took the fundamentals course and added a lot of things to my routine that have helped me in several ways, breathing and focus in particular. Then I found your channel and have found it to be much more in depth and less bombastic. With your material, I've gone beyond the levels I reached with the WHM with things like the horse stance to master control. Keep up the good work.

I know this is a horrible, shocking, uncomfortable situation in many ways, but I'm really happy for you that the universe has decided to place you firmly back into the centre of what you do, rather than having wim hof placed at the centre of what you do. It is very important when following the sacred path of "I Am" that you stand in your own centre and that you stand in your own centre alone (it's the same for everyone).
So, in addition to comiserations, I'd like to also say a huge congratulations!! This is the ultimate form of graduation!! 🎉 You have officially graduated from the WH Academy, and you are now free to follow your own path as your own person, completely. Your teachings will only become more powerful for this energetic shift. Thank you for standing in your integrity and not taking down this important channel. You have defended us all by doing so.
Peace, love, and good fortune! ❤

You're completely right to uphold your own integrity over some brand's, Kitaro. Wim Hof may own his own name, but he certainly does not own pranayama, neither do they own cold plunges -- you've created your very own integrations and methods of different practices that are truly amazing. Your video, "Guided Wim Hof Breathing: Negative Emotion Relief" has been THE ultimate breathwork masterclass, I don't think I'll ever find anything within the realm of breathwork or meditation that'll ever come close to it, it quite literally was instrumental in my recovery from, ironically, a very messy break-up.

Breathing isn’t owned by anyone. Wim Hof owns his NAME. You are, in my humble opinion, a far better teacher than he is. His ego is so big I cant watch him. I appreciate so much your gentle and patient voice. I have sent many anxious friends your way who have not found a breath practice they found compelling until you. Your voice matters. Please stay visible. I stand with you. Keep sharing what you know.

Great video! You address the problem without anger, and not only that you reflect the hypocrisy of what the organization did to you without name calling! You exposed the problem of their treatment of you without becoming a victim! Man GREAT JOB!!! You are a true expression of the virtue of patience. Something very few people in this world seem to understand, and even fewer can manifest as yourself. Because of your approach to this situation there is no doubt people will resonate with you, without manipulation, your authenticity shines brilliantly and this is what brings people to trust. You are a genuine person. You are a good person. There Is no doubt you will continue to benefit greatly!!! Thank you. Keep going!!!

Somehow I saw this coming, not just for you but for the scores of other people who teach WHM breathing. Perhaps I’m a bit cynical, but I suspect it’s more about controlling, protecting, and monetizing the WHM brand than anything else, as I guess is their right. But to offer a certification and then not permit graduates to actually use it isn’t a good look for them. Best wishes to you on your new channel. Yours is actually the first voice I hear every single morning, as I do my Breathwork to one of your videos even before I get out of bed. It will continue to be as long as your videos are available. Thank you for your good and gentle teaching style.

I was inspired by the early Wim Hof too. I also started freediving in the same year. By now I did the under ice swim and static breathold. But I never did it by hyperventilation or without a saftey or a resuce rope. Do I need your videos? No. But I love them, because you are such an inspiring person. You talk and teach as it has to be done. So if someone wants to learn about the WHM, I tell them to watch Kitaro's videos. All your words and thoughts are resonating deep within me. I had such a hard time understanding the WH method at first. I read his book and listened to a lot of podcasts with him. Finally I commented on his fb page that I need better instruction to do breathwork because I wanted to know how to breathe in the river. His reply was that breathing is simple. It's just breathing. I have done enough tibetan breathwork to know that different inhale duration, holds and exhalation time and techniqe means different things.
Then I found your channel. Your simple and yet detailed imstruction was just what I needed. Thank you from my heart. 🌹

Thank you for the videos Kitaro, they've been a vital resource for me! Though I found your channel through exploring the Wim Hof Method, I have since not returned to Wim's content as I found it too sensationalized and yours to be more useful in its holistic approach. As well, you also convey a warmth and honesty in your manner and tone that I find lacking elsewhere! I would not worry about losing "official endorsement" but see it as an opportunity to grow in ways you wouldn't be able to without being cut loose, it time I'm sure you'll come to see it as a blessing you might not have sought to give yourself.
You've more than earned the support of your audience, looking forward to what's next!

I just discovered your channel today. I like how calm you are. I'm still looking for a - dare I say - post-menopausal female (the least popular humans on our planet) instructor for breathing and cold therapy. But you're part way there. And that's a complement!
I think your calmer demeanor is conducive to many who want to learn this type of thing. So far, I love Wim Hof, but have never been particularly attracted to his HOOWHAA! antics.
As a Norwegian kid raised in Minnesota (USA), I've always loved the cold and frequently did not need a coat in sub zero temps, but was often forced to wear one by my concerned parents. I knew what situations I was unlikely to get a chill in and I love Wim's stories of his enjoyment of the cold. I learned from societal conventions to dustrust my instincts and bodily wisdom. (We all do, of course.) I'm getting those instincts back now that I'm older and dont give a flying about so much stupid stuff anymore. Im interested in what I'm interested in now.
Im curious to check out your work to see if theres a significant difference in learning this from a vibe like yours in comparison to wims vibe. At the same time, I love that in the past month, I've been learning more about tummo in such a direct manner from a Viking, than I learned in 2 decades of Tibetan/American formal buddhist practice. Recovering buddhist here.
Good to have found this channel today and to see how everyone is working it out for themselves. I subscribed and will check out your other channel too. Thank you.

I too have gone through a few professional break ups and although not easy, I know in the long run its the best thing for me and everyone! Please keep sharing your greatness, there's many of us that are here because you are so compassionate about sharing breathwork, not because it's the WHM. Thank you for being a light and I'm here to stay and continue my growth alongside you and the amazing videos you've put out! Much love ❤️

Much respect! following your new channel.
I feel that WHM (and I don't mean WH himself) are falling to the usual trappings of a good idea(or movement) becoming a company or corporation. WHM is a company, I'm sure with branding guidelines, a legal department, profit expectations, etc, etc. Those things aren't evil on their own mind you, I am not going to paint every company with the same brush, but I feel that more often than not, they mark a transition into something that quite honestly begins to feel...soulless.
That they asked you to take down informative videos about safety, while not replacing them with their own, to me says that the important thing on that was not safety, but control of the brand (and profits), and limiting liability. The message, the purpose, the soul of the thing, is now gone.
I think you are choosing the right path here, and I respect that.

Hi Kitaro, I practice the WHM breathing technique often and sometimes follow your guided breathing sessions. Over the years, I watched Wim Hof presentations, visited his website, interviews, guided breathing... However it is in your presentations that I found more technical information. Your video on the dark side of WHM also made me aware of the real possibility of passing out and that I should always be in a safe place to do it. In short, you are a great supplement of information to the official WHM channels and I think they are making a big mistake by revoking your license,

    Hey Kitaro,
I just wanted to say how much I appreciate everything you're doing. I started following you today, and even though I've only just begun watching your content, I can already tell that you're an incredible person with a good heart. I recently started practicing the Wim Hof method just a few days ago, and I've been diving into breathwork for a little over a week now. It's amazing how much it has changed my life!
Two years ago, I began meditating and practicing mindfulness, along with self-development. However, I realized that I wasn’t properly oxygenating my body. After reading "Atomic Focus" by Patrick G. McKeown a bit over a week ago, I started focusing on proper diaphragmatic breathing, and it’s like I’ve become a new person, full of energy and power.
I resonate so much with your content and your energy, and I truly believe you're a good person. I sincerely hope that everything works out for you. Wishing you all the best and continued success in all that you do! ❤❤❤❤

I was introduced to breathing practices through Wim's videos, but then I came across your videos and they changed my perspective on breathing practices for the better. They helped me to deal with stress in my life and at work, which was a real godsend for me, especially during the difficult times in my country. Greetings from Ukraine, thank you for your work.

On 31. december last year I sat down on the outside... it was a little past 11pm... and so I decided to finish the 2023 with the Wim Hof breathing. The RUclips, after filling up what was needed in the search window, gave me Your video of the guided breathwork (the 10 rounds one)... never before did I encounter Your videos before so I said "... F... it, I'll give it a shot eventough I don't know who the hell this guy is..."... and so I did. Long story short, as I finished the 10th round, I opened my eyes and saw a 00:00 hours on my phone... and so my New Year started. In that regards, keep them new videos coming... and I'll follow. Greetings and support from Croatia.

Kitaro, thanks for all of your videos and hard work. I’m incredibly grateful for your posts. While i’m also grateful to Wim for initially promoting the technique, i’m thankful that you have brought sense and safety to the breath work. Scott’s writing was a real eye opener for me as well. I hope that you stay the course. 😊🙏

From the heart, Moon from Korea.
As a certified Wim Hof Method instructor, though not officially representing Innerfire, I've come to realize that the true essence of the Wim Hof Method goes far beyond simply teaching breathing techniques. The practice, at its core, is about cultivating a profound sense of gratitude-something that transcends the boundaries of just being an instructor. It’s this depth that transforms us into healers, as Wim often reminds us.This transformation, this shift from merely guiding breathwork to nurturing gratitude and healing, is something I believe can only be fully experienced in person. The warmth, compassion, and connection that are shared face-to-face create a space where true healing and gratitude can flourish. While digital platforms like RUclips offer incredible reach, there’s an irreplaceable value in the in-person exchange of energy and understanding. In a world where love and connection are often in short supply, these offline experiences become vital. It’s in these moments that the true spirit of the Wim Hof Method comes alive.
Once again From the heart, I hope you doing well.
    Moon

That's sad news to hear the WH Academy have treated you in such a manner. I have a subscription to the app which I've been thinking of cancelling for awhile as I prefer guided videos with two people in particular. Yourself, Kitaro, and Breathe With Sandy. This news has done it for me. You have a loyal follower here in Ireland. Thanks for all the great guided breathwork you've brought me and I look forward to many more 🙏

The WHM is too much about $$$$ and they don't seem to give so much about safety. Keep up the good work. Love your teaching style!
