Thanks for this video. I would get the LDS error and then if I used my finger to start spinning the LDS, the LDS would start spinning on its own and it would work. Not ideal since I need to manually do that every time I ran the vacuum. Watched your video, took it apart and the band was in tact. Replaced the band with a more sturdy rubber band and it now works perfectly. I don’t get it, but I’m glad it works!
I had the same LDS error, and after I opened up, the rubber band was also broken. Replace the rubber band with a normal red rubber-band and fixed back everything. It works! Hope the red rubber band can last... Thanks Ivan!
Thanks for the video! I had the same issue, I took the belt to several hardware stores to find something similar...ultimately found a rubber "O" ring gasket by chance at my pool supply store that's used for a Hayward chlorine dispenser. Cost me $3.00 a bit heavier duty and better quality and works as it should.
I have a Deebot 900. The belt size is 220mm circumference, 110mm folded. Thats the measurement they give when selling, folded. Amazon has cassette recorder belt sets that contains belts from 40mm to 135mm. That is the set you might want to consider. Width is a little over 1mm, maybe 1.5mm. 110mm = 4.3 inches. I think 4 inches will do. remember, the size they advertise is folded. Hope this helps
Thank you for sharing! Mine did that a few times and I took care of it with the tapping thing, which isn't fixing it anymore. I guess I have open it up.
The exact same thing happened to my Neato Botvac, I used crazy glue to glue back the strap together, as it is almost impossible to fine another strap. Just be sure to use liquid crazy glue, not gel. Hope you can fix it..
Thanks for the video. I’m looking to replace the battery in my 907 unit. Do you recall how much disassembly was needed to get to the battery connector?
Are you guys using the latest firmware/app? A few folks told me not to update the firmware because it was making it pretty much unusable due to all kinds of errors.

That's for the video. My belt was intact, but disassembling and reassembling the unit somehow resolved it 👍🏼
Congratulations, and thanks for sharing.
My lds spin, but had a different noise, stop and get the lds malfunction error.
Thanks for sharing. I have the same problem. Unfortunately, I can't find any belt replacement in my town. I'll try on Ebay.
Thank you 🙏🏻

Thank you for this video. It’s extremely helpful!
Use a small rubber band, that will replace the belt, it worked for me.

Where did you buy the belt? Thanks
Thanks a lot for the video! Where did you buy the LDS belt from? can you share a link?
Was told by customer service rep that deebot is going to create a repair center hopefully sometime next year.
Just happened to me today. Luckily I still have 5 days on my warrantee!
Hi Ivan, do you think this would work on a 930 as well?
Hey Jackson, can you please let me know what worked for you? i am having same issue for my 930 as well.

I am getting the same warning. The only fix from Deebot seems to mail it back. My warranty is expired also.
