    Dre was vital for starting a lot of careers. He signed several artists, including Snoop and Eminem. The he produced the beat you’re hearing, as well as a ton of other beats for various artists.

    I'm 49 now. I grew up listening to the best of them; NWA, Ice Cube, LL Cool J, Beasties, Too Short, etc.
    There was a time where I didn't listen to Rap, and it could be because there wasn't much out there ( early 90s), then the Chronic dropped! That jump started Rap again. Not only do you have Dre and Snoop, but you have all the other rappers featured in their albums coming out with their own stuff like Warren G, Daz, etc. They blew up!!! They were all over MTV. Good times!!

    Dre was with N.W.A in the mid 80s...Snoop hits the public scene early 90s...they be rollin every since....goes waaay back. Dre, Cube, Snoop Dogg, etc....Si glad I grew up during these times.
