We grew up during the best times when we could actually kick it together and have house parties and cookouts and all that. Plus I’m from the Bay Area so we had a lot going on back then from Tupac Too Short E-40 Souls of Mischief and so on and so on. Damn I miss those days

      Great time to be young! This album and a couple others were a huge part of the soundtrack of my 20's and watching the video brings back so many memories of how much fun we had, it almost feels like I'm watching a friend's video "tape" from any number of bbq's I went to back in the day!

    Coming from an Indian who watched this around 30 years back, was a game changer, still gives me the chills. There has never been a rap song cooler than this. This is the greatest ever. Was a cultural earthquake like Smells like Teen Spirit by Nirvana at the same time. Totally Trail blazing.

    This was huge hit for them and set the bar for iconic collabs between rappers and producers. I am a HUGE fan of both! Snoop's lyricism and delivery is ridiculous.. when you make up your own language? (the iznick slang portion) INSANE.

I worked at a Disc Jockey in the mall, Oak Ridge Tennessee yessssir, and when this CASSETTE SINGLE came out was most films 1st time EVER hearing SNOOP DOGG !💯🤯🤯🤯 Guys keep digging through them crates because Y'all haven't even scratched the surface pimpin!!! From here we meet the dog pound (Warren G was in the video at the bbq), and Snoops Doggystyle album comes out next, two of the biggest albums of the era. This video and album, sets up the next decade of gangsta rap until B.I.G. and Tupac are murdered.

      Yeah that was the explicit version. Back n the day rap songs had 2 versions. The "clean" version (no foul language, no sexual language) was played on the radio. The explicit version was something u had 2 buy in the record store. So yeah this was the "dirty" version (4 adults) lol.
