Fun fact: Kyogre outclasses rayquaza in almost every single way - - 150 bp stab + rain water spout with 180 spatk > 150 bp stab dragon energy stab with 180 spatk - better coverage in the form of hurricane and thunder (can't miss) and ice beam - passive healing with rain dish - better bulk (100/90/160 > 105/100/100) (slightly worse on the physical side but far better on the special side) - better set up as tail glow > swords dance (mega ray gets no special setup) - better defensive typing with only 2 weaknesses mega ray only has better speed, which can be easily managed by nature/vitamins, and unnerve, which is kinda overrated tbh since your one shotting almost everything anyway, and otherwise just clicking salt cure on eternatus
@Phoenixsturm1 funfact: kings rock + multi lens STAB water spout in the rain with 10 mystic waters and calciums with soul dews and modest + blisset has base 75 attack. The only way this doesn't one shot is if you're very far in at which point you're salt curing anyways
Tapu Lele was the reason I got my first classic win. Nasty plot was all I needed. Also, Cosmog gets precipice blades as an egg move to hit fire types for Solgaleo. And it also has Stored Power at level one, which can be good because it also gets Cosmic Power pretty sure which can strengthen stored power.
Genesect has been my carry in endless, it's set is bug bite (with 3x multi lens and 5x kings rock) you eat 4 enemy berries a turn and more likely than not flinch, tachyon cutter which hits 8 times flinching is guaranteed, mega drain and techno blast. I have actually disabled his passive as bug steel is such a great typing
I would say Manaphy is a pretty amazing carry. It got kind of nerfed on classic mode with removal of simple but arguably buffed for endless. It is also quad effective against rayquaza and super effective against eternatus with freeze dry, along with getting dazzling gleam and a few other fairy moves. Bouncy bubble also allows you to save up a ton of money.
The reason shaymin has wind rider is less for the atk boost and more because grass has so many weaknesses and it gives you a free switch into flying moves wouldn’t recommend for endless it’s not bad for classic.
Although one might think wind moves are flying type moves, it is not. While most wind moves are indeed flying type, there are quite a few wind moves of other types. All the "Storm" moves from the genies, Heat Wave, Hurricane, Blizzard, Fairy Wind, Petal Blizzard.... All of these are wind moves and would activate its ability. It actually seems much more useful than what y'all are giving it credit for!
With dialga, it might be better to have the normal form for metal burst because it's based off hp so more damage taken = more damage dealt. Lower defenses allow for more damage but lower hp is less possible damage.
Every time I think about this game I think of how cool and different of a game mode it would be on Pokémon showdown though last respects supreme overload sword of ruin could be a little overwhelming
I am stunned people actually dont know what Missingno is. Imagine being in the mid 90s and figuring that shi out in a random country across the world, what kinda king ud be :P it was a way to dupe pokemon and items in gen 1 games back in the day :P
Tapus get nature madness, making them a great fusion just to pass the move to deal with bosses. also tapu fini gets soak, so for endless it is crazy good with terain+soak+nature madness
Marshadow being A-Tier is criminal. You can get perfect coverage with fighting, ghost, ice and fire punches. there is not a single pokemon in the pokedex that you can not hit at least neutral. Not one!
@@dragonslav3r good coverage shouldn't automatically place you high. Marshadow does have a decent 120 base atk, but its only way of increasing attack is a move that's 100 bp. Compare that to Zapdos who can increase its sp atk with a 205 bp move, not to mention italso gets amazing coverage moves. I would maybe consider Marshadow S tier because of Spectral Thief, but it'd be at the very bottom.
@dragonslaverlp and having storm throw is INSANE , always being a critical hit and getting boosted by technician wipes almost ANYTHING in one hit. marshadow was the first mythical i hatched, coincidentally also my favourite pokemon which is kinda sweet but genuinely it has move coverage for everything. base speed of 125 is absolutely filthy as well its so overpowered, S tier at LEAST.
Regidrago was my first epic egg hatch and he carried me through classic. One shotted almost everything with dragon energy and killed eternatus in 3 hits
Dude tailglow manaphy simple is broken you can get plus six in one turn then you give it the heart swap that you thought was bad and give it to your own Pokémon in a double battle giving any special attacker plus 6
@@elephant1210 Tail Glow into Heart swap is two whole turns, plus it's only for double battles so it's very niche. I left it top of S because it's a Pokémon that relies on a non-attacking status move. SS-SSS is for strong Beast Boost Pokémon or Multi-Lens + Contrary sets.
Beat my first classic run with a magical torque tapu koko who destroyed everything along the way, did scum 195 and eternatus with leech seed curse + 2 bulky mons with dot moves lol, Again tapu koko was better as i have no candies for my other legendaries like zygarde and zamazenta
Base 173 SpA + Transistor + Thunderclap + Beast Boost; Tail Glow if you find a turn to use it; Giga Drain for ground coverage; Flamethrower for grass coverage
Why is reshiram so low, feel like that chinpokomon is epic for carrying in endless mode. Eruption is cracked and if you grab a multi lens you're just KOing all the bosses n dat in 1 move, fregging epic gamer time.
Im guessing its based of classic maybe? As zacian isnt very good for endless compared to latias and reshiram due to latias having soul heart and dragon energy and reshi having eruption+dragon energy with orch pulse
Yeah I don't get it either reshi name is mentioned all the time like zacien and megaRay as an endless carry. Turboblaze is underwhelming but subtly good as it goes through sturdy, multscale, but can be fused to something better in endless once it's no longer useful. Maybe classic weight or just doesn't use lures to double the shiny odds in endless?
Come on putting a 20% freeze fishier in the same category as Zapdos that has a perfect moveset synergy and self buffing w electro shot is just dumb. You clearly never did a zapdos run.
Not as special as you think because of multi-lens + kings rock + flinch move (assuming we're talking endless mode). Also if you're playing classic mode, 100 base speed can't outspeed Rayquaza or Eternatus.
@@HoshinJosh in endless there still a chance of not flinching target, little dude makes chances close to 100%. But yeah, in classic Jirachi is pretty mid

Agreed. I dna spliced primal kyogre and chandelure. Heavy rain, soul heart, water spout, and insane stats
