More like this exact pipe has some serious issues with its collider. I remember lots of problems in that place. Other pipes behave normally.
At the very start you can save about 15 seconds by using the yellow bin to jump over the barbed wire fence. It's really hard to perform though, I have to restart maybe 10 times to get it.
I definitely could be faster but I wanted to show an easy way to do it.
You sure this works still? because I've attempted it 20+ times and the fence keeps stopping me.

@@stephendavies1518 It still works for me on Steam, but it is *really* hard. I use a more reliable technique, which is to 0-degree wallrun next to the barbed wire, then do a 180-degree jump while strafing left mid-air - you'll take a lot of damage going over it but won't die. It's still difficult, and slightly slower, but easier.
Soooo, i know i'm like super late but how can the time froze in your session (in between the two big a** doors in the sewer) but my time's running ? I literally always waste 30sec....is it because it has been patched?
I don't know if the game has been patched or if it because I used the Steam version of the game. Might be a bug.

@Flicks In fact, the helicopter will you tail 50% of the time, the drop trick is not consistent. Sucks that the xbox version is that different.

How is that you are not getting shot after you do the falling plank shortcut ? I get shot and killed while I run to the door after pressing the switch
In my experience, the helicopter followed and attacked me in the tunnel 50% of the time when I used the plank trick.
I know this a very late comment, but I've played mirrors edge many many times in my life and never once been shot at after using the plank trick, until this week, where it seems to happen almost every time now. Weird

Would have gotten this on my first try if not for the fact that they apparently took out the time freezes on the consoles versions? That's BS.
There we go, third full run, about 50 seconds to spare as well. These are much better than the TTs so far.
How to do the plank glitch? I can’t seem to get it. I’m on ps3 if that makes a difference.
