How do you rate the call quality on this? I’ve owned AirPods Pro 2 and the call quality was great on them considering the option to choose ‘Voice Isolation’ as part of the mic settings in iOS. Given I’m inclined to use this for calls as well, what’s your feedback on that front?
@Expedition987654321 different league ... although the airpods have the best noise cancelling I've used and the apple ecosystem makes it work seamlessly between devices
@GadgetsBoy air pods are the best anc you've ever used? Xm5? Bose? No way airpods are better. Nice review though! Been rocking xm5 for over a year now but am looking for something new im bored lol
Thank you. Haha I mean it's subjective and all our ears are built differently. Anc has to strike a balance for me, blocking out noise without giving a vacuum effect, especially on flights
@@GadgetsBoy I currently rock the PI8s. I almost hate them :D. But they sound clean and I spent 400 bucks on them. I believe they are lacking in the lower freq "flexibility", there is no extension in the bass, I understand they are meant to sound like a clinical studio headphone; that's just not what I personally needed
I've been using them for a month. Sound quality is the best I've ever experienced in every way. Quality feel is the same. However mic quality is far from good. If phone calls is a priority this is not the device to go for. The battery life is ok, not amazing. I came from Jabra Elite 7 Active that have 8h+ and these have 6h on a charge and it doesn't feel like enough. The most dissapointing thing has been the connectivity though. Constant drop outs and in general not working well with bluetooth, however with the last 3,0 firmware it seems to have been resolved and is not fine, no dropouts, so at the end of the day I think I will be a happy PI8 user for many years :)
@@510maddog Your remarks are interesting. Did you plug the Creative into a Mac or PC? I have a Mac . But I’m also interested in upgrading Bluetooth out of my iPhone 15 to the Pi8.
Music is all I care about and these are gamechanger for me - and I have a collection of high ene buds. These are perfect, and that’s despite bluetooth and whatever pathetic DAC comes with iPhone 15. These are MAGIC!
I just ordered them after doubting for a few weeks, price is to high imho but I hope the sound quality is really noticeably better then its competitors
The question should be whether they are worth $500. Are they really two times better good as the Sony xm5 ? Are they 4 times better that the Oneplus buds 3 pro? Hell no. I think the B&W are overpriced earbuds
@@GadgetsBoyI had them for few weeks, sound quality is unmatched. Never heard that much details in a pair of TWS. But to pay that much for that low battery was a big downer to me, returned them.
In my opinion, they blow the xm5"s out of the proverbial water!! Regarding price, as they say, you got to pay to play! Worth every penny if you wasnt audiophile sound. Peace!
I think you'd need your head examined to pay £350 for something with a battery that will die (from my experience of battery iems) in about 3 years and the manufacturer will charge you £150 to replace batteries or you chuck them away. Buy a decent DAC and some wired iems
@GadgetsBoy I tried them and can't say I'm blown away. The Denon Perl Pro sound better for me. The Sennheiser Momentum 4 also sound similar- cheaper and more intuitive app.
Great review....in terms of sound quality alone is this a lot better than the Technics AZ80?
Do you think that case will transmit sound from a playstation 5? As a transmitter
The super cool is the case that can act as a dac for old dap which hasn't a bluetooth. Really2 super cool !!!😊
Very cool
How is the battery life?

Excellent on call as it has good mic placements and noise cancelling.
@ thank you! This is very very helpful! Makes the decision easy! Appreciate your time and effort!
Which earbuds are you currently rocking?
Airpods pro2 . Are these better?

Great review! Question: Would you prefer the Bower & Wilkins Pi8 or the Technics eah-az80?
Thank you. Ohhh that's so tough. Wait till the 7th Jan

I started using these with a Creative BT-W6 for aptX lossless. Crystal clear sound!!

Awesome
Did'nt think I'd find a set of buds that rivaled my BO Beoplay EX's.....until now!!

400 usd too much... Ridiculously
400 dollars is nothing for good sound quality. There are over the ear head phones north of 25k
