I got my first speedmaster 1 month ago , the moonshine gold with gold and black dial . Love it
Thank you for pointing out the ding dong at 12 on the dial. The more we come to terms with the human body and how people make subtle references to body parts in a watch that costs thousands, I think we all grow a little.

Love this collection well thought with real story behind it. I have my own speedy story apollo 8 50th DSOTM, apollo 11 50th anniversary and speedy moonphase with a photo realistic moon and hidden moonboot print! I have rolex in my collection but I tend to wear omega instead due to its playful designs and story behind the piece. Great conversation pieces!

There is a knack to being a good interviewer where you put your host at ease, allow conversation to flow but subtly steer its direction ! Your ability to give your host the air but to occasionally fuel the conversation with your own knowledge was the perfect balance! Roll over David Letterman ....

early this year pull the trigger on the omega speedmaster moonshine gold with 18k gold bracelet and comes with a dark green dial, bought from secondary market grey dealer, i paid a price equivalent to 20% discount to the retail price, love it.
I see the modern 321 is in this guy's future

So funny about the water resistance. Omega test they master chronometer to the full 5 bar and their charts show it as totally fine to swim. I’ve never had an issue with a Speedmaster and that includes pre moon and more modern.
Nixon (and VP Agnew) was offered the watch but was obliged to decline because of regulations governing the value of gifts a president and vice president can receive. The Nixon watch is in the Omega Museum now (I saw it in the KaDeWe in Berlin where they had a Speedy exhibit in 2009). Don't know about the watch intended for Spiro Agnew.
For the amount they want for the speed master I would think they would put glide lock and or ajustable braclets
45th anniversary piece is stunning
Omega says you are good to swim on their website. I have many times with my 57 and it’s fine.
The platinum movement is pretty much the 57 movement.

Great collection, I believe Nixon declined the gold moonwatch being too valuable for a president to accept.
I’m a Rolex and JLC guy, but I have soft spot for Omega moonshine gold, dark side of the moon and the omega silver snoopy.. Hope to get one soon.. 🥂 to your collection..⌚️
Omega guarantees its watches to be water resistant as advertised (+25%), so swimming with 50m water resistance is perfectly fine.
Can’t compare Omega to Hamilton….
bro dont be scared or lazy, grab a toothbrush warm water and antibacterial soap and get to work. i always wash my watches and air dry them everyday. they wont scratch dont be scared.
He should sell a couple of those Speedmasters and buy a Daytona
