I've recently bought one, and I lovelovelove it!
Fortunately, the Stockwell 2 volume button does not control the phone's volume. I can leave the phone volume where I want it, the 2's volume button goes high enough for me (I mainly use it for podcasts and audio books, listening in small to medium sized rooms - although the sound is so delicious, I have started to listen more to music again, too). If I then switch to listening via headphones because I'm leaving the house, the volume is still at a comfortable level. With other BT speakers, I was often unpleasantly surprised by a loud blast from my headphones - while getting ready, moving from room to room, I tend to crank up the speaker's volume.
The 2 is splendid for the type of listening I do! I love to go to bed at night with a nice, mellow podcast or audiobook, setting the sleep timer and then leaving my phone in the living room. When the audio stops playing, a lot of speakers turn off after a certain amount of time - and nearly all of them make a LOUDDD!! noise when doing so. The Stockwell 2 just goes into standby mode, completely silently. It doesn't use much power at all in standby. Also, the sound quality and the way you can reduce the volume very subtly, with a lot of nuance at a lower volume, makes it perfect for intimate, late-night listening.
And yes, the solid knobs and just the whole build quality are just *delicious*

Brother is it normal that there is no sound if the volume regulator is set to 2

It's an aux input, not a headphone out

And now they have the Emberton. 3 times smaller, but blows the Stockwell 2 away they say

It would be nice to see a comparison between the two speaker. However its all down to personal taste, and what you are looking for. Thanks for your comment and please stay tuned. ✌🏽

Heya mate how long does it take to charge your speaker?
It says 5 hrs from zero to full on the website but it only took me around 2 hrs using an iPad charger which I find quite odd

Youreatwat123 thanks for your comment it takes precisely 2 hours from zero, but saying that i’m using a fast charger. :)

@@supportthesupportworker np mate and thank you. One more question. Is the speaker supposed to be fully charged when all the LED lights are off when plugged in? (And turned off at the same time)
Sorry for asking a rather strange question the quick start guide was quite vague on this

Youreatwat123 No thank you for the comments, i think i will do another video soon, sound testing and showing the item being charged. To answer your question when fully charge i notice the lights do go dim but you can still see them shown as fully chatrged, by relateing to the bars shown. Battery indicator. Anymore questions please do ask. Also when charging the battery indicator is also shown clearly. Thanks

@@supportthesupportworker That's quite bizarre because when mine is fully charged the lights are off completely. (When the speaker is turned off at the same time)
However when it's turned ON and fully charged i just get all the led lights on in the battery indicator
I'm not complaining however the battery life seems to be very good.
And thanks that would be a useful vid

You never mentioned how it sounds and didn’t demonstrate.

I never mentioned the sound because the camera I used to film the review. Was a mono tone speaker and would not justify the greatness of the sound. But you can always check on other sounds reviews highlighting this feature. Thanks for your comment.
