Try putting stray hay round the base of the plants.. It stops leaf rot and slugs
We have a rabbit so always have plenty of hay too!
You could put some lettuce in your garden - have a salad/herb trough for quick access 🌿🐑🐏

Baaaa! I think your greenhouse Brassicas look just as good as the ones you were gifted. I can say that if your Brassicas do end up getting nibbled etc... not all is lost as the flowers (if you let them get that far) are actually quite nice smelling... found that out by accident :D

Looking great a bit of sun and rain mixed will do wonders. Slugs 🤬🤬 ate my tomatoes and starting on my onions. Lovely variegated nasturtiums ❤. Happy growing, Ali 🌥️🇨🇦

Slugs were eating my savoy cabbages, even with the fine mesh hoop cover. So I have cut a load of brambles and surrounded the cabbages and the cabbage bed with brambles. So far it seems to be working.
I’ve heard this! Might have to forage some brambles then 😂🧡
Make beer traps for your slugs. Easy, cheap and very effective 👍🏻
We have used beer traps at home with average results 😂 also Sam won’t let me use any more beer 😂
@@HouseOfTedYT my slug traps are catching the little scumbags 24/7. Maybe try a different beer 🤣 and tell Sam to stop moaning about slugs then 🤣🤣🤣. It’s beer or slugs…🤣💚
@@HouseOfTedYT Just use a bit of bread yeast in a sugar water mix. It works just the same and I hate to waste beer too. 😁
