Hi loving the vlogs the teenie tiny grater is for nutmeg you can buy them whole like a little nut … Meg n grate lovely for Xmas recipes, rice pudding enjoy x
Hat looks great Emma. Love the colour(s) of the cardigan. I like the different shading. I have a fluffy baby pink onesie/ hoodie. Lovely when it is cold but not so great for bathroom visits. They need to have those flap things they have on the old long johns! lol The little graters are good for chocolate on cakes or in drinks, also like ginger and nutmeg. We made pumpkin pie and soup with ours. The recipe we used was super easy with evaporated milk. We cheated and got a pie crust from Tesco but they are a lot smaller than they used to be so had two portions of pie mix, so froze one. The rest of the 1.7kg pumpkin we made 4 portions of soup for the freezer and roasted the seeds in spices. Was it a no blind bake recipe? I am waiting for Black Friday to get some baking beans as i find pastry a faff. Did you see his recent video? Not sure if on his channel or the channel 4 food one but he made a no fuss, no tin, strawberry pie. Glad to hear Ted is ok with the fireworks. Our last fur daughter wasn't so good with them. Also, yes, if i am in the kitchen and hubby/child is in the living room, she would either lay down in the tiled hallway or lay down in the doorway of the carpeted living room with her head popping out. She always had to know where we were. Bless them. Not had stovie before but we make corned beef hash. Hope you are feeling better soon. I have real trouble with dairy but i can't be without my cheeses. Does anything like cranberry juice or those sachets for cystitis help you at all? Maybe worth asking a pharmacist, while you are waiting for treatment. My sister suffers with that but she lives in the Netherlands and pays for private healthcare. Anyway, fingers crossed for some sunshine soon! Take care!
Lol I said the exact same thing to Sam about a flap like the old pyjamas :') oo yay I can now justify my tiny grater - at the moment its on proud display on a shelf! Yep Jamie said no blind baking - just put it on the bottom of the oven - worked a treat! Ted tends to try and sleep on the middle step of the stairs if one of us is up and the other is down! arent they silly. Ahh dreaming of sunshine! Have a lovely week 🧡🧡🧡
Well, that's impressive, pumpkin pie from a pumpkin. American here. Never in my entire life have I ever heard of anyone making a pie from anything other than canned pumpkin. Hmmm.
I was talking to my wife about Pizza (it was her choice for her birthday dinner)... and I was mentioning how you have used Dominoes (and Pappa Johns)... but I was wondering if you had a "local pizza place" to which she pointed out the U.K. probably didn't have the same Italian immigration we did... U.K. shows we get here certainly mention getting a curry but I don't think they've ever mentioned getting a pizza... so do you not have anything other than "chain" pizza places? I am in total envy of your seed selections... neither our hardware store nor our local nursery have an impressive range... just about a bookshelf size area. Stovie sounds like a "leftovers" type meal... something they may well have put together with bits and pieces. I had a very similar looking pumpkin pie... the American's I worked for in the past who made one used canned pumpkin pie filling and I think that was more orange but as you say... it likely depends on the pumpkin... I don't think any of my special pumpkins have come up yet so not sure how well I will go being able to try those.
I think you’re right in that we don’t have local takeaway pizza places - the closest we have is horrible kebab shop pizzas but they are only ever edible at 1am after a fair few drinks 😂 so we usually just go for whatever does delivery! We do have some nice Italian restaurants though but they rarely do takeaway as they’re a bit posh! Our usual garden centre has a poor selection so I always make the most out of it if I see a big seed selection! It’s the first time I’ve made it and didn’t even consider ‘canned’ pumpkin as we don’t have that over here!
@@HouseOfTedYT Ahh that would explain it... I think we're quite spoiled for food choices in Australia... it's one of the best things about multiculturalism! We don't normally have canned pumpkin pie mix here either... but there happened to be an "American foods" store... kind of like a big supermarket but just for American foods... so they were able to get it from there. I think making it from scratch is cooler anyway ;) (though our family got a bit sick of it after about the third or fourth pumpkin pie in about 3 weeks ;)
Oh come on guys, you went to the garden centre ( which got me so excited) and what happened? We got a few seconds look around and then your faces close up, pretty as they are. When you say we're going to the garden centre then please show us what's in it and tell us about what it is you're showing us. Otherwise what's the point, I mean we see more than enough of you as is which is great. Let's see if we can broaden our horizons a bit.
Ya think? I thought it was a gardening channel plus little bits and pieces. Don't get me wrong I like Emma and Sam, especially Ted. And by the way just where do you get off judging me? @@twish1999
Its quite tricky to film out and about when it's busy! We also dont want to accidentally film any children or members of the public who might not want to be on the internet haha! But we're trying to get better at it :D 🧡

rude! it's so hard to film in a busy environment...... the point of their videos is to see Emma & Sam and hear what they say......
