I found it so satisfying going out into the woods to clean up all the dead fall so it wouldn't rot away & go to waste, plus, as your walking through the woods, it makes it so much more pleasant not tripping over fallen debris, not to mention it looks nicer.
For some reason, watching Melissa work, reminds me of the YT video with the gal that went to the mall buck naked, except for the 'clothes' that were painted on! God bless you Folks!
Thank goodness I made my guess assuming Melissa would be the A number 1 helper!!!! Well done, guys. Love that teamwork! I can use your videos to show my employees how teamwork really WORKS!! Stay warm!
Pull the logs to where you want to stack wood. Cut into rounds. Split in place. Back out log splitter along the log line. Less handling of the wood. Awesome videos and that splitter is awesome!!
Great teamwork, really good splitter. Would take me 4 times longer to do that much with 22 ton husked. Wife not able to help, kids and grandkids grown and busy. You are fortunate in so many ways.
People don't understand nature. I own several acres of timber and it has been logged several times. The timber is very thick now again. It is a mix of hardwood and pine with some as large as 30 inch through cut. I lost a lot of timber in a ice storm several years ago and I am disabled and can no longer do anything. I have offered to allow some to cut fire wood but no one seems to want to work. I tried to save it from just going to waste but nature consumed it. Thanks for the videos and your time. I wish I was able to work I miss it very much. I am about the same age as you and had always thought I would be able to enjoy it more. I thank you again. You and your family bring me joy of the outdoors that I can't do. God bless.
A match made in woodsplitting heaven ( Hate to be a Debbie Downer speed saves time but it can sometimes give you time in the emergency room)... saw Mike,s fingers get pinched between logs at about 5:19 and coat almost caught reaching for falling piece and another piece fell just missing Melissa,s toes and to top it off MIke broke Melissa,s heart...but as Mike sez "all in all" nice demo
Wow, that was quick. You need the whole family to help and maybe a neighbor or two. I was going to get out and split wood today, I have 5 Ash trees on the ground and cut up but this weather got me. It's raining and it's mixed with snow. Just another day in Indiana. Have a great rest of your weekend. GOD BLESS
Wow that's a awesome splitter, great team work. also yes there seem to be more trees dying everywhere. no need cut live stuff. I think agricultural spraying is the demon, they seem to spray no matter how hard the wind is blowing.
Wow! Amazing that Melissa couldn’t keep up 🤣 That machine is crazy fast And Melissa was really funny in this one Love seeing her personality come out You guys are great
My wife and I watched this video and made a guess before we saw the time. Oh my we were way off you two make quite a team. We do enjoy these videos of yours. Melissa is a worker and funny as well.
Great job on splitting that wood guys I thought those jeans was going to split at any time melissa wow looking awesome lol my guess was wrong love your vids keep it up 😘
Wolfe makes a great splitter, Chris Wolfe really is great to work with as well. I bought the skid steer splitter a couple of month ago for some huge rounds and it made that an easy job. I own a tw-5 right now for my commercial firewood production once that give up I am almost positive my next splitter will be a Wolfe.
No matter how fast you split you need to get it off the back faster or stop and clear. I think you will need the whole family to keep that thing fed and cleared away. That splitter is a beast!! Great video. I always love, all of your wife's expressions.
Mike that splitter is fast, and so is Melissa🏋️♀️. Can you just imagine how much faster that maple could have been split if you could have kept up with them. Oh well like everything in life, there's always a weak link.🔗 Just pulling your⛓ chain Mike, I'm sure you have a lot of strong qualities.
Hi Mike and Melissa, i am a new subscriber up in British Columbia Canada if you just lower the table the wood would stay in one place. I cut lots of wood to feed our out door boiler that heats 10,000 sq. ft. of living space in three homes. We have 20 acres of trees, mostly fir and maple. That splitter is awesome.
Yes I noticed that when editing the video. Its amazing what I pick up when you watch the video that you don't think about when doing the work because you are focused on other things
Outdoors With The Morgans no no no it was all my idea no one else's just mine all mine mine mine mine ha ha ha jk but on a serious note when I saw you backing the trailer up to the splitter it was such a relief but now you need a bigger trailer
Really quick machine you have there. Be very careful around it though. Also the piece shaped like a heart was cute. I turned a quarter-sized splitting maul out of hickory to use when I am making bowl blanks. It took longer to turn than it did for you to split the wood on your ranger. Had a nice evening
great video Mike yes i am going to be getting one of those splitters the one that i can put inside my mill and split kindling as we make a lot of that as well
You should look into an old chain/paddle hay conveyor that farmers used for filling there hayloft and put a small Honda motor with a belt drive to run the elevator. A friend of mine has one and it's great for filling dump wagons. Anyways I enjoy your videos. All the way from Lucan Ontario 🍻
On the firewood/sawlog issue. I have both a sawmill and a wood splitter and anything less than 8" goes to the splitter. And my policy for larger logs is this. I never throw an unopened log on the burn pile.
Hey don't know what is going on, I'm not getting any notifications from your channel. I've just found out I have missed the last 4 or 5 videos. 😞 Now I gotta surf to find your new ones. You and Melissa sure made fast work on that pile of firewood. That was awesome. You two take care.
I respect the way that you always make use of the fallen trees for firework that is a positive thing and a good way to help people. I think Melissa took it as a challenge when you said the splitter might be faster then her. I always enjoy seeing her in video never know what she is going to do and always a lot of fun. I like the idea of cutting wood for a hour I am curious to see how much you can cut with it.
Mike, you made me laugh... you didn't sound too enthusiastic at 14:05 about "Saturday date night, ha ha." A team of feeder, splitter, and stacker would be ideal.
Fun interesting video as usual. Mike - you are soooo! lucky ( you also work your tail off). Good sponcers but more important is your family. Best helper you could hope for. Do something nice for her. Are the chickens still cold ???
@@iPhil77 I'm actually looking for smaller, I only do maybe 10 cord of wood a year right now. I'm mostly splitting ash, oak and the occasional sugar maple.
TheLuke1184 The small version that mike is currently demoing is 50 cord a year type of a machine and the that machine is $6,500. So if you have immediate family around you that burn firewood for heating, or if you just want to do many years of firewood splitting into a single day or weekend. Most people wouldn’t have a need for a machine like that.
My wife likes to help me with the firewood, she says it's a better workout than going to the gym. I noticed your wife goes to the gym, does she feel the same way? It's relaxing for me to saw up trees and process them for firewood, I used to help my great grandfather and grandfather with their firewood and I recently rebuilt my grandfather's wood splitter. It had a briggs on it that lasted for over 40 years and I finally had to replace it. My father told me he was proud of me for putting the effort in on such a old piece of equipment but it is a well designed wood splitter that has served 4 generations and now 5 because my son and daughter helps me now. Firewood is a great way to teach kids a good work ethic. I love it, and I love to watch your videos. I was wondering if you use firewood or if you just sell it, and if you do what kind of stove or boiler you have.
You two work like a team but not too fast to make it dangerous. Well done I had a guess of over 14 minutes assuming only one of you were doing all the work. if the time were doubled my guess was very close.
The uhd video quality of your videos is awesome! I'm envious of your setup with all the rk equipment, but hey you earn it. You should have cut out a small plaque of the heart shape piece -Valentines day is coming up-come on Mike, think ahead lol. Great job though!
I just started watching the video, so I don't how long it took yet, but I see the sun setting on the horizon, and you haven't started..... 7 minutes to split.....:)
I have a splitfire 3465 with a 4 way wedge accessory. I believe it has a 15 second cycle time end to end, so in that 15 second time frame you have 8 peices of wood 4 forward 4 back. She would need help with that splitter. The down side is you need a lot of hands to keep it at full speed which is a bit stressful as the operator. Doesn't push it into a trailer either, but it's really fast in that size wood if you can get split wood off the beam and a new round loaded I'm still hung up on a Eastonmade with a box wedge.
I found it so satisfying going out into the woods to clean up all the dead fall so it wouldn't rot away & go to waste, plus, as your walking through the woods, it makes it so much more pleasant not tripping over fallen debris, not to mention it looks nicer.

God bless you Folks!
I love watching you guys work together. Great video and great splitter.
What a machine!! And what a great team you guys make! My daughter enjoyed seeing a wife splitting firewood!
Thank goodness I made my guess assuming Melissa would be the A number 1 helper!!!!
Well done, guys. Love that teamwork!
I can use your videos to show my employees how teamwork really WORKS!!
Stay warm!
A very nice demonstration. Great equipment and great teamwork! My favorite frame is at the 4:30 mark. 👍🏼 Melissa 😍
Another great video. Love the wood splitting and physical activity. Keep up the work. Trees will create there own replacements. Gods way
Pull the logs to where you want to stack wood. Cut into rounds. Split in place. Back out log splitter along the log line. Less handling of the wood. Awesome videos and that splitter is awesome!!

That's Gettn it done Fast!!👍👊
You guys were fast and in good rhythm. The heart log Melissa point out was a good sign with Valentine's coming up!
It is good to see y'all working together!
super fast really neat to watch, nice to make sure you and Melissa are safe

Randy Carpenter are you close to gladwin Michigan? 😎

Wow---that worked really well.....that is the perfect setup

Too funny. Mike driving the tractor and Melissa stomping down the road with the gas jug. Melissa, down stairs! Keep up the good work
Wow that's a awesome splitter, great team work. also yes there seem to be more trees dying everywhere. no need cut live stuff. I think agricultural spraying is the demon, they seem to spray no matter how hard the wind is blowing.

Nice video, good teamwork and that splitter is awesome.
You two are such fun and Melissa is so funny. Great effort on the wood split. I believe you about how the trees work.
Nice cutter....the log splitter is nice too...😉
Another great video from the 'M' team...well done guys 👍🇬🇧
You guys make a great team splitting that wood together
That was pretty fast. Going down the steps. Awesome.
Sure wish I could recruit such a helper !!!!!
One oak dies, 75 show up for the funeral!
Sunday morning here. Thanks so much for such an enjoyable breakfast video. 😁
Mike, ya blew it.. cutting a chunk of that heart shaped round woulda put you in good with the missus for Valentines.. great video as usual.
I did, I dropped the ball on that one
Looks like wolf ridge makes some great equipment.
I need to get me one of those splitters that thing is awesome - Thanks for the great video.
That is on helluva log splitter. Great team work.
Man. that was a short date. Having fun is what it is all about. You guys work well together.

Great video, that log splitter is a splitting machine, very fast. Alot split in a real short time period....

Melissa, you have so much energy, WOW
Would like to see a video about if/how you manage diseased and standing dead trees and why you chose your approach.
Hi Mike and Melissa, i am a new subscriber up in British Columbia Canada

Cool you used my suggestion of using the trailer for your split wood A+
Yours, mine, and about 200 other people said that
Outdoors With The Morgans no no no it was all my idea no one else's just mine all mine mine mine mine ha ha ha jk but on a serious note when I saw you backing the trailer up to the splitter it was such a relief but now you need a bigger trailer
Ohhh, Mike you better keep up there😁😁😁Awesome stuff and I mean the both of you! Team work👍👍👍
So much fun to work as a team, especially when you kinda like each other! 😉❤

Good video y'all y'all have a good day and stay safe
Hi my friends. Good woodsplitter. Very good conception ! Bye. Kiss of France 🇫🇷. Sébastien.
Great !! What a team ! You go ! Thanks!
great video Mike yes i am going to be getting one of those splitters the one that i can put inside my mill and split kindling as we make a lot of that as well

Hearing protection! Thanks for the video
Good jop
I'm proud of you guys😍
Grettings from Egypt
Good team work 👍,💪
Melissa I keep saying it but you are soo funny 😆 the heart shaped maple would have made a nice present! Hint hint amazing splitter
Man, that is awesome, how much do one of these cost? This thing would be so much faster than the new splitter we bought from family Farm and home.
Very nice video as always Mike!
That spliter is awesome.....
On the firewood/sawlog issue. I have both a sawmill and a wood splitter and anything less than 8" goes to the splitter. And my policy for larger logs is this. I never throw an unopened log on the burn pile.
Great job 👍
That thing is the firewood business.
Great video!
Mike your lucky to have such a good & fast worker. And she looks great doing it too, did she even break a sweet?
Very impressive and nice team work👍👍
I wish I had that much forest for fire wood. That was impressive.
Who would have thought spitting wood would draw such a visual crowd. Lol. I really enjoy your videos
Dead trees equal $$$.
haha thanks james!
Mike with all the safety gear, Melissa ready to hit the mall. Lol 👍
Yep how long will her gloves last?
I use maple as firewood quite a bit. It burns really good especially when starting a fire.
Hey don't know what is going on, I'm not getting any notifications from your channel. I've just found out I have missed the last 4 or 5 videos. 😞 Now I gotta surf to find your new ones. You and Melissa sure made fast work on that pile of firewood. That was awesome. You two take care.
Make sure you hit the bell icon and you "should" get notifications
Awe , it's a heart.....Mike...throw it on the splitter. hahaha. Too funny.
I respect the way that you always make use of the fallen trees for firework that is a positive thing and a good way to help people.

I like the idea of cutting wood for a hour I am curious to see how much you can cut with it.
DUDEZILLA! That splitter you have ROCKS like Van Halen @ Rich Stadium (Where the Bills play) in 88! I KNOW because I was THERE!!!!!!
Missed it by 7 seconds!! Lol. Nice job and nice teamwork 🇺🇸👍
Mike, you made me laugh... you didn't sound too enthusiastic at 14:05 about "Saturday date night, ha ha." A team of feeder, splitter, and stacker would be ideal.
Very impresiv cant wait to see what comes up in 1hour.whith melissas help it will be a huge pile
O man I was 2 seconds off. Good job Mike and Melissa!
Fun interesting video as usual. Mike - you are soooo! lucky ( you also work your tail off). Good sponcers but more important is your family. Best helper you could hope for. Do something nice for her. Are the chickens still cold ???
That is a slick splitter...I'm checking out their residential units as I type!
TheLuke1184
If you go any bigger than what mike is using / showing, then the cycle time slower. But it’ll depends on your own wood type around you.
@@iPhil77 I'm actually looking for smaller, I only do maybe 10 cord of wood a year right now. I'm mostly splitting ash, oak and the occasional sugar maple.

This definitely took care of the wood.
Great job enjoyed that! I really enjoy my splitter if your going to burn wood there a must have!!!
Awesome job you two. Mike, I think you should follow Melissa down those stairs one time 😅😂🤣 💜❤️🧡💛💚💙

Good job. Going out to cut up a large downed red oak right now on the farm.
Waw very quick, nice video.👍
that was fast , i used to help a friend of mine that did tree removal and firewood we worked hard
That’s fast , I’m thinking of a 4 way wedge for my spitter . And I thought you were going to save that piece for Melissa 👍🇺🇸
Nice use of HuP tools, Pre Job Brief, Safety Moment, questioning attitude
At 8:50.😂😂😂😂
You guys and gals respectively, split so fast, you need a third person to rank it in the trailer. Awesome work!!!
wish i had a nice looking wood splitting partner like that,,awsome job !
Plus facile à deux super machine super vidéo magnifique tu vends le bois de chauffage et ça paye les machines
I just started watching the video, so I don't how long it took yet, but I see the sun setting on the horizon, and you haven't started..... 7 minutes to split.....:)
6 min 18 secs. Great video!

Well I was way off on the time.
Malisse needs a raise.
God bless.
