With some back-of-the-envelope math, if we started at $30k and reached $500k by Day 100, we'd have an average daily percent gain of 2.85%. Keeping that same rate of growth, we could theoretically reach $1M by about Day 125. Neat!
@@whyareyoulookinghere9135 unfortunately thats the downside of looking at % rather than raw value... going from 1 to 2 is doubling your stock , but to double your stock you'd have to wait twice again unless your production also doubles which is nearly impossible to maintain such rapid growth :p

I get really in to the sort of, roleplay aspect of rimworld. And I just love the image of after a hundred days, for a Second. Just for a second. A few people in the colony get upset, that they didn't hit their goal. But they take a breath, as they meet up in the dining room and the hospital and the factory and the fields, and take stock of what was destroyed and what survived. And tank and challengeman and huntman take off their helmets, and take a breath of the first non-filtered air they've had for a while, and just laugh. Cause everyone survived one of the most disastrous mechanoid raids since the mechanoid wars, with their base mostly intact. And they all know that they can rebuild, and reform. And that they're all alive. Injured, some people badly, but alive and fixable. And they sit in their field, and just take a moment to see the sky that most of them haven't taken the time to look at in so many quadrums. And we watch the camera zoom out, thier base getting smaller until we cannot see it anymore, and there's just the planet and the sun in frame. I have that image in my head so distinctly.
Mechaniod: “Attack the humans.” Rock: “Hey tin cans! I’ve got something for you!” *Raises the middle finger.* *Mechanoid’s eyes turn red* “I have something for you human” *Cue a plasma bolt to the hand.*

I think the most valuable things that you overlooked from the Vanilla Expanded series were the work clothes and tools. Hammers give global work speed, which really could have helped with your crafting bottleneck. There're also overalls for farming. Anyways, a good watch as always
I actually really like seeing rimworld RUclipsrs playing with game changing mods. It gives me a chance to see new mods in action so thank you for that.
Imagine being there, getting mortar shelled, shot at constantly, and watching everything you've built up to now get destroyed, trying to hold your guts inside your body, all the while breathing the fumes of the burning psychedelic drug plant. What a marathon of a day. What a climax to a series
Absolutely love this format. Thank you for not just the great gameplay and commentary, but the editing too. I can't handle unedited simulation gameplay like Rimworld or DF anymore, but with a bit of snipping and commentary, it's great stuff.
Your soothing voice and poetic cadence fills me with determination. You are a bright beacon, a lighthouse in a sea of commonality. You are the ambiguous amphibian, defiler of modern life ennui. Thank you.
Shit this was probably the coolest challenge I've seen you pull off, even making it halfway to a million was impressive. Really hope to see you do more of these long challenge videos, particularly Rimworld or Zomboid. You're friggin great, mate.

Loved this series! Hope you're planning on more 100 days/long plays in general in the future! I can imagine that they're a pretty heavy video to make though. Definitely a fan of the longer content, but I also really like your 20 minute vids either way :)
4:50 See, this is why we make turrets. 8 mini turrets, 4 auto cannons, 3 uranium slug turrets, land mines, bear traps, tons of sand bags, THEEEEEEEEEEEN we have our colonists WAAAAAAAAAAY in the back with m16s and sniper rifles. See, that;'s my happy place. That's how I like to engage bugs.

what ive been doing is putting hydroponics basins outside so it bumps the plant production way up and you dont have to get power for sun lamps so thats good.
Your furnace room at around 9:35 is brilliant. If for some reason you don't have enough electricity or heat, you can build a furnace room and idly throw in molotovs to heat your colony. Probably super inefficient, but if it works, it works.
That part of the video just made me wanna cry, I’ve had it happen to me so many times, he’s lucky it was just an ear and not an arm/leg Which I keep messing up, the sad part being he paid for it, I have found a much more effective way of just imprisoning surviving raiders and taking whichever bodypart my own colonists are missing or are hurting. Today for example one of my colonists had his stomach shot off, so I chopped the stomach off a prisoner and gave it to my colonists, another missed his kidney so I took it from the prisoner and gave it to the other colonist, at this point the prisoner was so depressed he went on a rampage the second he could walk, sent the leader to slice his head clean off with a hammer, the rimworld sure is a magical place.

Perfect way to describe it. They failed in achieving the unnecessary goal but won at life
what a wonderful idea
I can just imagine the Rock flipping off the mechanoids with his left hand while shooting, and a bullet just takes the whole finger clean off.
