Imagine telling Mets fans that in 3 years they’d have deGrom and Scherzer on the same team, and then end up losing deGrom in FA to the Rangers the following offseason only to get Verlander for 2 yrs 86.6, Correa for 12 yrs 315 mil, Jose Quintana for 2 years 26 mil, resigning Nimmo to 8 yrs 162 mil, Resigning Edwin Díaz to a 5 year 102 mil, and Kodai Senga, as a Rangers fan I can easily say one of the best offseasons we’ve seen, even after signing deGoat it’s been crazy Breaking: Mets are concerned w/Correa’s physical

As a Mets fan, i’m gonna choose to stop watching at 7:01. No reason in particular. But seriously, this is when we should’ve known this team had destiny on their side to go on one of the craziest playoff runs ever. From the wild card game to winning their first series to taking it all the way in Houston, it was magical.
