Great review! For those looking to get some bang for your buck, this is a great value. I purchased the XP 1.0 version in July of 2020 for $899, and am still riding it 6700+ miles later. The 3.0 has many upgrades that seem to defy the additional $100 price increase, all of which I would have wanted. Those upgrades include: front suspension, mechanical hydraulic disc brakes, upgraded gear set, better battery, upgraded electric motor, upgraded light, and wider handlebars. The strongest virtues of this bike are price, value, and portability. It has been a great first ebike, and a lot of fun to ride. Some things to consider - ebikes are heavy, but this one is lighter than most weighing a little over 60 lbs. Throwing a folding bike into the back of your car can be a little awkward, but doable. The bike comes with a 1 year warranty. Maybe I had a little bad luck, but I had to replace my battery a year and 1 month after I purchased it, which cost $300. I currently have 2 years going on the replacement battery. Other items that needed to be repaired or replaced are wear and tear items you would expect: tires, inner tubes, break pads, break cables, and the chain. I have been through quite a few break pads, and the breaks were probably the weakest part of the bike, though the new versions are better I would assume. Flats have been a recurring frustration, that have been somewhat reduced by adding slime to the inner tubes. You will want to do that. All the service on the bike was done at Erik’s that sells and services other brands, but will also work on this one. For safety, I added a rearview mirror and extra lights for visibility both to see, and be seen. I also got a bike cable and alarm for security. At times I have been tempted to upgrade to a better or different bike, but I will probably keep this one a while longer yet. All the virtues that led me to buy this bike remain. There are trade offs buying an ebike under $1,000, but overall this has been a good purchase and a lot of fun to own. Hope this helps.
I'm a 240lb 6'1 guy, and I've been having an absolute blast on this thing all month. The headlight, when properly aimed, provides more than enough light for late night riding (which I prefer). Really like this ebike. I went and bought both Onyx , Rcr and Cty2 . As odd as it sounds i wish i went way less power and went with something like this lectric 3.0 I live in central Florida as well. I took my friends lectric 2.0 for a short ride . Tested it up a decently steep hill around me and even though i weigh 250lbs i was able to pedal assist 16mph up the hill. Found my taste for rides way different then i thought it would be so now ended up putting both my Onyx up for sale.

Lectric has released a "Rev B" battery plate to correct the battery incompatibility issue you highlighted in your video, although you have to request one as Lectric has not issued a recall/notice about the problem. While the fix seems to work well with non-3.0 batteries (with the rounded handles), there is some slight resistance when closing the frame with the original 3.0 battery (square handle) even after removing the rubber pad from the "bottom" of the battery (per Lectric's suggestion). Kudos to your honesty and temerity as I believe you are still the only RUclipsr (and only "honest review") to mention this issue. Also, Lectric has added some adhesive to the grips so they do not spin freely. Keep up the great work!

Thank you very much for your video. I ordered electric 3.0 a few days ago, during the Black Friday sales. It comes with $277 accessories for free. I have been watching the electric 2.0 and had decided to purchase one but I'm glad I waited for this model. This will be my first electric bike and I plan to use it as a commuter and for traveling in my RV.
Followed you for years I used to buy Walmart bikes and modified them. Was fun. 3 years ago, I got a 500W Ancheer Ebike. Hated it and did not use much. Sold it. Researched and have a Lectric XPremium. 4" tires, mid engine, 2 batteries and hydro breaks only 1700 delivered. Big heavy folding bike. 50mi with throttle. A lot for the mula. Peace out
Very detailed and informative video. Ordered a long range step thru 3.0 and a long range standard 3.0. Giving my step thru 2.0 and standard 2.0 to my teen daughter and sons. Called Lectric before ordering, they assured me the batteries are interchangeable as long as it is the same style. Step thru only compatible with step thru and standard only compatible with standard.
Great review. I'm glad that someone at Lectric watches reviews on youtube because all of them said to change the freewheel to an 11 to 28t, also they all said to upgrade to hydraulic brakes. Good job Lectric.
I've been wanting one of these for about 6-7 years. I wish I could afford to buy one. Thank you very much for doing this video. I appreciate you doing it.
Wow they hit all the big things, mainly the weight capacity, the 11/28 sprocket, all the way to little things like it’s actually black (vs dark blue which is a big nitpick I had with my 2.0) and they even cleaned up the folding lever so it doesn’t look like it was spray painted with fake chrome paint lol. And last but not least even the seat! Oh how I wish I could trade my 2.0 right now!
Good video. Thanks for being concise. I bought the Lectric XP 1.0 and XP 2.0. Both served me well - rode 1,400 miles on the 1.0 and more than 2,000 miles on the 2.0. I am rough on the Lectric ebikes in terms of off-road trails, gravel roads and long distances. My only complaint is controller failures. Between the two ebikes, I replaced controllers 5 times. The Lectric folks tell me that I ride on too much rough terrain. Maybe so. The XP 3.0 looks like a home run and I'll likely buy that one too.
This makes me happy and sad. I just received my XP2.0 extended range on October 3rd. Good to see the direction they keep taking the XP brand. Thank you for the review!
A great ebike, a great independant review. I'm glad they put in the more desirable sprocket and seat. Keep sending them your suggestions! Hyd discs would have been nice, but mechanical discs that can easily be adjusted and not leak in my apt will work for me. Thanks for the time and detail you put into this video review. A-Dog 2-6-23
Yeah, the smaller top gear sprocket definitely helps, and the comfort seat IS comfortable, so I hafta give Lectric credit for that. On the downside, though, the heavily advertised power is not there, especially in throttle-only mode. In throttle-only, the acceleration is sluggish, especially above around 13 mph, and the top speed is only 17.5 to 18 mph. And it goes down from there as the battery discharges. At 40-50% charge, the top speed in throttle-only mode is just 15 mph. ☹
I was really hoping that the 3.0 would finally include hydraulic brakes, but it still has lots of nice upgrades and is still a great value. It's getting even more tempting to add the Lectric XP 3.0 to my small fleet!
Adding hydraulic calipers is an easy job. The lines will still be mechanical, and you will have ro buy the calipers yourself. However, I think its a good upgrade I live the hydraulic calipers I put on my xp 2
@@cruizlee214 Yes, I've thought about doing that to one of bikes we have (I think the brand is Junetech or something), but I would rather have full hydraulic brakes installed from the factory.
180mm rotors are more than enough without hydraulic for a 20". At the very least you won't have to worry about leaks or lines being damaged from folding it.
@@BoardwalkBullies Nah, I still like hydraulic brakes. No cable to stretch out and get rusty and always adjusting, especially on a folding bike. I own a Rize Bolt X which is a folding e-bike with 20" x 3" tires and factory hydraulic brakes on 180 mm rotors and I have no problems at all with leaks or damage and it stops powerfully without using much hand strength. I can adjust the levers for someone with smaller or larger hands and there's virtually no maintenance other than changing out the pads which I haven't needed to do yet after a couple of years since the pads wear very evenly.
I have a Lectric XP Step-Thru (2.0?). I really like it overall. I wouldn't say these changes are compelling enough that I'd upgrade over what I have, but if I was getting a new one/for the first time, very nice! Main gripe about the Step-Thru (and probably the XP 2.0/3.0) is that it's not perfectly suited to 6'3 height. Seat and handlebars don't go nearly high enough. Still, great item.
I would guess if you found a good welder, an extension could be attached to fit the 6'3" reasonably. However, there might be some trouble getting tubing stock to match. Be sure to have the same or a thicker wall to work with.
Those grips moving so easily is a concern to me. Otherwise your video was very informative. A lot to go over before I purchase the 3.0. Thanks again for the review.
My husband and I have definitely chosen Lectric for our ebike purchase. Only issue is that I am on the fence about model. He wants the XPremium for sure. I like the XPremium, but I also like the XP 3.0 Long Range. And then there is the issue of standard or step through. I've been watching videos and researching reviews and you get both sides of the coin. Some say the XPremium is the better choice while others say the XP 3.0 ... I have put both in the cart and taken them back out about a dozen times now! LOL
Tough call. Some people like a torque drive, some prefer a rear hub/cadence combo. If you do buy, please use one of my links 😁 Are there any specific questions you have about the two?
I am writing this as I die on hold with customer service. My Lectric bike had only 55 miles before it stopped working. This was 3 months ago. They kept shipping parts which takes a min of two weeks if they have it in stock. They shipped 3 different parts and wanted to keep shipping more. I had to fight with them to get them to replace the bike but they won’t do it until they get the bike back even though it is with the shop they recommend. The return process has been two weeks already and the bike is still at the shop. I would not recommend this bike because of the support unless you want to spend $1000 and not have the use of your bike for 4-6 months
Ended up getting the new xp 3.0, been wanting a daily driver for a while and was gonna wait for black friday but I was already eying the xp2.0 so figured why not. The standard battery is the 10 ah version, 14 ah battery is the +200 long range version. Also their range claims are somewhat misleading. they claim 45-65 miles but their charts on their own website show 45 is the standard's top range at pas 1 and 65 is the long range version at pas 1. Real standard range they claim is 17-45 miles. Not a fan of that sneaky little detail. I don't blame you kev cause it seems everyone says the same range claim. I get the upsale on the battery this is already a competitively cheap bike but can do without trickery. Other than that can't wait to get my bike. Great review!
Also on the website the old battery upgrades state they're compatible with all xp's, 1,2, and 3 so maybe you got a prototype and retail version will be compatible? Really hope so
Congrats on the bike! Let me know how you like it. Regarding the battery: I should have a production version, but that’s something I need to check into as it clearly didn’t line up with the 2.0 I tested it on.
This looks like a fun little "city" bike. I could see myself using this on nice weather days to ride to work (~9 miles one way). This would be a fun bike to take on road trips as it could easily fit in the trunk it looks like. There's so many fun and exciting new products out there!
My work is only about 4.7km from my house, so this would make a great little commuter bike for me. A lot of times here in Japan takinga bike is actually *faster* than taking a car because there's so much traffic...on a bike you can technically hop the sidewalk and blow past a lot of the traffic.
just a word of advice to anyone looking to get an Electric bike for any transportation needs, getting a flat tire is rather easy I wish they use better tires probably solid be a great option and if you get one probably few miles from home you will need a ride back and repair is not as easy as a like a regular bike flat repair just be aware!!! also if something fails like a motor control control on mine at 80 miles Lectric will assist you replacing the parts how ever you will do the replacement yourself not difficult. I bought an XP2 wish would have wait for XP3
I'm seriously thinking about getting this, it helps that the payload is 330lbs, and coming from a heavy set man it gives me some security to know I won't destroy the crap out of it so easily by just riding around. Might just pitch in for the long range, but probably will just save 200 and go for the normal range since my town is like a few miles wide from one end to the other.
yea if you're not going more than a few miles short range just makes sense. I'm thinking about commuting on it so i'm probably gonna splurge for the longer range just so i have that buffer
@@CPoppaB1tch When you get a chance, please let me know what your top speed in throttle-only mode is. Mine is less than the advertised 20 mph, and I'm wondering if that's just my bike or if all 3.0's are like that.
The 11 to 28t upgrade was a long time coming. It's the most popular mod on most 20" fat tire Ebikes with a 7 speed. The 14ah battery is also the most popular mod to the XP, people buy aftermarket ones from China. The thing that I still don't like about the new XPs were the tire change, kinda forcing you to pedal fast to stay at speed. The Aventon Sinch even with the 14-32t freewheel can still do 26/27 just from pedal cadence and no actual effort. I was able to get it to 30 before but very uncomfortably. The bigger tires definitely help with that. I would also wager that the charger is different because the new one would probably be 3amp due to the new battery so you can still have a 4 to 5 hour charge time.
So I’m awaiting my XP 3.0 and I’m so excited Bodywork getting done soon as it comes out the box ….. I’ve ordered literally everything you can think of even from Lectric themselves…. Don’t ask me why but I brought every attachment they have to it offer lus the other accessories I wanted to use to be different stay tuned for this weekend
Great review. lm getting conflicting information. Maybe you can help. I just watched another review from someone who has a popular channel, and he most definitely says that in Class 3, the throttle still kicks off at 20mph. In other words, there is no way to unlock the throttle to 28 mph. Pedal assist, yes. Throttle, no. How come you're able to unlock your 3.0 throttle to go 28 mph, but he is not? Thank you.
----- The one thing I've noticed (and I could be full of beans) Temperature affects the battery range. I like riding PS 2 and gear 7 and I get a very comfortable 14 - 17 MPH. Great bike, glad I got it.
I have this and love it. However, if you’re short and you want to have a passenger it’s not feasible. They should make these for short people or advertise that you can’t have a passenger if you’re under a certain height. I’m 5’2 and can’t reach the ground with my daughter on the back due to the fact that the handlebars in the back make the seat go up way higher. Also, it’s VERY heavy! I cannot lift alone. If you don’t need to have a passenger get the lite.
I’ve had my 2.0 for about 7 months now.i ride everyday and really love and enjoy it! And as much as I do,it’s too bad cause I’m about ta sell that for the 3.0 it has more torque and more torque = better wheelies!!!😁😁😁🤗
Great presentation. Awesome looking bike for value. I have a ride one up Core 5 which cost me about the same. Also a very good value bike I prefer taller narrower Wheels but the two bikes are not comparable offer trade-offs between them. My bike can also attain 28 mph but same thing above 25 the pedaling is too extreme. 25 is The Sweet Spot.
Thanks for the in depth review. Looking forward for you to do one with the passenger setup. Thinking of upgrading my 2.0 and being able to put my wife on the back as she has balance issues and can't ride anymore but I think she could hang on just fine.
@@KevCentral Yeah, I would get the 3.0 and get the battery upgrade as well. Gad they went to the 11-28, that's the first thing I did to my 2.0 and it made a big difference. We're down here in Phoenix at our winter digs so I'm taking Jo Anne over to the showroom Monday and we'll see what she thinks of it. Pretty nice deal on the extras now with the Black Friday sale going on.😎
I just bought an xp 2.0 a few months ago. When the 3.0 came out, I figured they probably changed one or two things at best and I wasn't going to bother upgrading. Once I saw how much they actually changed, I couldn't help myself and I sprung for the new model. Got a lightly used 2.0 for sale if there are any takers! 🤣
@@mrjtps He doesn't seem to be responding. Wait til next year, when the 4.0 comes out. Buy a slightly used 3.0 then. That's why I don't buy them. That, and I would urge any healthy person to see what a thousand dollar road bike without electric is like first. You might be pretty surprised. And actually, for Black Friday, you could get an aluminum cruiser for $250, half price, from Retrospec Bicycles, no t on the end. They also offer a twenty six Inch step through electric with available long range battery that I think is a better deal. But E bikes have so much room for improvement, this thing of loving one when it comes out and wanting to dump it when a way better replacement arrives is going to continue for quite some time, and the tiny ranges and massive weight is just too much drawback for me. That's what I would go for if anything, the cruiser for $250. Comfort seat, good geometry, super light weight, 21 speed drivetrain, it's a super sweet bike on sale for less than Wal*Mart junk.
@@johnoneal1234 I'm a cross country truck driver. interested in getting a foldable bike for the truck. What would u recommend if u dont mind me asking?
@@theonlyconstantischange123 I really am not in to them and am not a good person to ask. For 400 bucks, you can get a 750/48 Bafang mid drive kit and put it on a regular bike and have something worth having, which is not how I see these things. They are too heavy and folding doesn't make them any easier to lift. Black Friday just got over, but I could have bought an all aluminum 21 speed pedal bike for $250, so for $650 I would have had a vastly better bike. Those tiny wheels don't turn very fast, and I am quite sure I would be more comfortable on a full size, upright handlebar bike. You might look at people complaining of having to try to use a strap to keep the folded halves together to lift it into a vehicle, the puncihed fingers, etc. Some people like them, but if space is a concern, you could put a kit on a BMX bike and raise the seat and handlebars...
@@johnoneal1234 appreciate the feedback. unfortunately "foldable" is kinda essential for my particular needs but i see you make some valid points. These things will likely antiquate every couple years lol. thanks for the input
I am familiar with the area you ride in on your reviews. I live within a 50 mile range of the area. Me and my wife have 2.0's. We absolutely love them. We are getting near 300 miles on them and I know they are overdue some maintenance. I checked with a bike shop, they were way to expensive for just routine maintenance. I'm interested in learning to maintain them myself and also do repairs when needed. Any suggestions were to get that training? Or do you recomend just sticking with a bike shop for that stuff?
Looks like it might be time to sell the 1.0 and my second ebike and just get this one. That 150 lb rack is almost cargo-bike worthy. Two questions - is that 28-30 MPH speed with pedal assist, or does it get up to that speed with throttle only when unlocked? And two - I noticed in the spec sheet at the very beginning of the video that once you turn the bike on you CAN take the key out. Is that correct?
Throttle only is limited to 20mph. Even when the bike is unlocked. Yes, the key apparently can be removed. I didn’t notice that until I had already made the video 😂, so I only have 2 nitpicks 😁
A Surron or Talaria. I believe the cheapest electric dirt bike I've seen are $1600. I don't need one at over 66 I want one, I have 2 relatively new ebikes right now. 🤯
complaint about the XP, I'm sure I'm not the only guy who experienced this when wearing pants in pedaling my pants catch the release latch . One-time unlatching whiIe was riding down the hill I saved it but it was very concerning.
Be careful of their deceptive ads. But they call a sale usually isn't. It got me on a 2.0. Saying it was the best deal Is saying it was A better deal than black Friday, Then they released the 3.0 for the same money.
I would like to see a fat guy 275 in the woods on trails with sticks rocks and roots. I am looking for a bike with torque to do some hills but especially single trails through leaves possibly inch or two of snow going to my deer hunting area and back. I like the foldable aspect so I don't need a hitch mount.
Great review. I'd love to get one but it's early June now and the website says they ship in July. I'm just gonna wait until the delivery is more predictable.
Great review - thanks! I agree 100% about the key - I get that it might be required, but at least on my wife's ebike (a Nakto) it's on the side, so I'm less paranoid about it falling out.
The fact that it’s a roughly 60lb bike will have some effect. On flat ground it’s entirely useable without electricity. Up hills can become more challenging
I noticed your derailleur guard is bent and broken. Mine was bent, preventing me from shifting into seventh gear. The broken cage or guard is noticeable at about 5 minutes into the video.

I flinched when you took the plastic off the screen. I always leave mine on.
Can I install 11/28 sprocket on my other ebike easily?
Thanks for commenting
This makes me happy and sad. I just received my XP2.0 extended range on October 3rd. Good to see the direction they keep taking the XP brand. Thank you for the review!
Congrats on the 2.0. Still a great bike
looks like a nice replacement to the 2.0, but i am still very happy with my 2.0 so no upgrading for me just yet.
This is by far the best review I've ever seen
Thanks 👍🏼
Love these guys. They make the best Ebikes. I am beyond happy. If your on the fence.... just go 4 it
Just ordered my XP 3.0 last night and I've been watching reviews. You better believe yours is the first one I pulled up.
How was your experience? 😊
Just ordered mine today. Got the long range battery. Can't wait!
Congrats!
I would choose mechanical over hydraulic brakes for ease of maintenance and reliability personally.
Still, great item.
and at 5' I have to worry about ground to seat being low enough, seat to handle bar distance close enough. lol We need custom bikes. 😉
I would guess if you found a good welder, an extension could be attached to fit the 6'3" reasonably. However, there might be some trouble getting tubing stock to match. Be sure to have the same or a thicker wall to work with.
What's up with the broken bar at 5:38? Kept waiting for you to mention that.
If you do buy, please use one of my links 😁
Are there any specific questions you have about the two?
I am writing this as I die on hold with customer service. My Lectric bike had only 55 miles before it stopped working. This was 3 months ago. They kept shipping parts which takes a min of two weeks if they have it in stock. They shipped 3 different parts and wanted to keep shipping more. I had to fight with them to get them to replace the bike but they won’t do it until they get the bike back even though it is with the shop they recommend. The return process has been two weeks already and the bike is still at the shop. I would not recommend this bike because of the support unless you want to spend $1000 and not have the use of your bike for 4-6 months
Hey Kev, you missed mentioning the broken derailleur guard. Probably got broken during shipping.
I've been waiting for this bike. great timing!
I've taken mine over frozen lakes and thru back country trails. Lectric XP's can tackle almost anything
just a word of advice to anyone looking to get an Electric bike for any transportation needs, getting a flat tire is rather easy I wish they use better tires probably solid be a great option and if you get one probably few miles from home you will need a ride back and repair is not as easy as a like a regular bike flat repair just be aware!!! also if something fails like a motor control control on mine at 80 miles Lectric will assist you replacing the parts how ever you will do the replacement yourself not difficult.
I bought an XP2 wish would have wait for XP3
I believe all 3.0 models ship with tire slime preinstalled
Awesome review, thanks a million. I may end up buying a Lectric bike.
Congrats on the new bike!
That part 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
yea if you're not going more than a few miles short range just makes sense. I'm thinking about commuting on it so i'm probably gonna splurge for the longer range just so i have that buffer
I just got my 3 0 and the passenger package. Can't wait for nicer westher
@@CPoppaB1tch When you get a chance, please let me know what your top speed in throttle-only mode is. Mine is less than the advertised 20 mph, and I'm wondering if that's just my bike or if all 3.0's are like that.
@@Milesco around 16-17
On pas5 it goes 22 ez
wow! so glad to see this...was going to order a 2.0 last week, but glad I waited. Great review, great video...Thanks for the info
Just ordered mine yesterday. Can't wait for it to arrive. Your video answered my last couple of questions
Congrats!
Thank you for taking the time to do these reviews. It really helped me a lot on making decisions.
I thought the same thing on the charger, but it is a 2.0a output
@@KevCentral lol, wow.
Congrats on the new bike
Great review!
I’ve had my 2.0 for about 7 months now.i ride everyday and really love and enjoy it! And as much as I do,it’s too bad cause I’m about ta sell that for the 3.0 it has more torque and more torque = better wheelies!!!😁😁😁🤗
Note that it’s ‘more’ but it’s metered torque, so it’s more subtle. Not an overwhelming output.
The 2.0 engagement wasn’t smooth and erratic. The controller blew up and was replaced. Still had problems. Fingers crossed for 3.0.
Great info. I just purchased a 3.0 and super excited to receive it.
500w I think the 3.0 is 1000w
Just ordered 2 of them one with the passenger setup
They have a good black Friday sale with suspension seat upgrade 🤘👍🎥
Thanks for the Review,I have a 2.0 I don't think an upgrade is necessary for me.
2.0 is a good bike
You sold me! Just ordered one! Will test it out & review as well. Thank you!
Thanks for sharing. Congrats on the Core
Thanks Great Info , I haven't got mine yet but really looking forward to it
Best review and comparison the the 2.0 that I’ve seen. Great video!
The pedals on the 2.0 only lasted me about 1k miles before I wore them out.
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for the in depth review. Looking forward for you to do one with the passenger setup. Thinking of upgrading my 2.0 and being able to put my wife on the back as she has balance issues and can't ride anymore but I think she could hang on just fine.
Thanks. I have one on the way! I don’t think it’s intended for the 2.0. It requires the reinforced rack and computer program capabilities of the 3.0
@@KevCentral Yeah, I would get the 3.0 and get the battery upgrade as well. Gad they went to the 11-28, that's the first thing I did to my 2.0 and it made a big difference. We're down here in Phoenix at our winter digs so I'm taking Jo Anne over to the showroom Monday and we'll see what she thinks of it. Pretty nice deal on the extras now with the Black Friday sale going on.😎
Awesome video! Thank you! The only difference I see is 3.0 now has 1000W Peak Rear Hub Motor with 55nm of torque.
Can a small cargo trailer (similar to a pet trailer) be hooked up to this? Thank you
I'm getting one for work!! it's perfect I'm so glad the bike came through!!!
Congrats!
Where are you?
Excellent overview! Thank you very much for producing this video.
Is a really a good bike you just have to adapte a big battery in the back grill.
Great review! If you get the 3.0 with the 14 amp hour battery, can you also order an extra 10 amp hour battery as a backup / 2nd battery?
13mph up that hill is impressive at throttle only. I’ve been up that hill too many times pushing some watts on a road bike!
I bought one and just received it today, its so awesome
I have mine on order. I can't wait.
That is a beauty Kev a BEAUTY it has it all i wouldn't change a thing value for money great power and looks smashing .
I like the Mickey mouse shifter on a bike with bar ends, because you can still shift without taking your hand off the bar end,
Great review, sir. I will probably buy one, as someone who’s never owned one but wants to
I'm getting mines any day now, I can't wait!
Gonna be a bit .
I got the Lectric XPremium. Fits me as i am a big guy.
I see the tires went from 4" wide to 3" wide from the 1.0 to.the 3.0 models.
3.0!?!?! I just got the 2.0 - hope I didn't miss out
2.0 is still a good bike
If you had to choose between the Lectric XP 3.0 or the Fucare Gemini, which would you buy?
@@KevCentral I received my 3.0 yesterday. I just tried to remove the key when in the on position and it does not come out
I need 30mph at throttle only…. Any recommendations?
They should change the lights. Where you can turn it to a different color by a switch.
How long is the warranty, and where do you go for repairs if you have any issues, since it is a mail-order bike? Thanks for the good video.
We have 2 and we love them!
Great review. I'd love to get one but it's early June now and the website says they ship in July. I'm just gonna wait until the delivery is more predictable.
Would like to had a comment on the kick stand and folding, but aside from that great product video.
Very informative video well done.
Great video. Thank you for the review. I’m sold!
Yeah, with the fall rains, I'm grateful for a $1,100 car to keep me dry 😜. Loved my Lectric XP 1.0 but that's my past.
As a person that wears glasses, riding in the rain is less than pleasant
Hey Kev I noticed you got up to 30mph, was that with throttle only? Great video keepem coming.
Throttle only is capped at ~20mph. Thanks 😊
Your review definitely said 30 mph on throttle only. @@KevCentral
Nice review. I think I was already sold but you clinched it for me.
I am interested in this, but concerned that it will be too small for my 6'2" 230lb frame.
Bars and seat extend enough to give you room I would think. Bike handles weight up to 330lbs
@@KevCentral How about the opposite direction? I weigh 95 lbs and am 5' tall. Would this bike seem too big for a petite female? Thanks for your input.
I’m 5’2 and have this bike. I can touch the ground but not flat footed. See if the lite is smaller for you.
Great review - thanks! I agree 100% about the key - I get that it might be required, but at least on my wife's ebike (a Nakto) it's on the side, so I'm less paranoid about it falling out.
It turns out the key IS removable, so one less nitpick 👍🏼
Great thorough review! I own an original XP step-through. I wonder if my extra step through battery will fit in the new 3.0 step through? Thanks!
Doubtful based on the speed controller pin locations on the std 3.0
Is it just as good pedaling without electric assist, or is pedaling not as comfortable because it was imagined for pedal-assist?
The fact that it’s a roughly 60lb bike will have some effect. On flat ground it’s entirely useable without electricity. Up hills can become more challenging
Is it just me or at 6 min 12 sec. you can see the derailleur bar is broken and pushed up on the derailleur it's self. That bike got some damage.
The rear derailer guard bracket is broken also
I noticed your derailleur guard is bent and broken. Mine was bent, preventing me from shifting into seventh gear. The broken cage or guard is noticeable at about 5 minutes into the video.
Lol right, he had just got done saying it came perfect except a small scratch, then whammy, lmao doesn't say anything to address it obviously fucked to high heaven.
An interesting easter egg about the 2.0. The sticker on the frame that says class 2 ebike, if removed, reveals another permanent class 3 ebike sticker underneath it. Most likely to be used if you unlocked the bike. Does the Lectric 3.0 have the same feature?
