Guido, that was like watching a surgeon flawlessly performing a heart transplant in 5 min! Your professional approach and management in the cockpit was amazing, sterile and a joy to watch!

Really enjoyed this. I am not a pilot, but I love watching pilots do their work. I very much enjoyed the view into the cockpit, listening to your comm with ATC, your working through the checklist, and very much appreciating your showing the forward camera angle on the last few seconds of approach and touchdown. Thanks for posting this.

I have flown sense the age of eight. I was flying a R22 at 10 and fix wing also. Was in the military also. I live in NY but fly Bell430UTs in Florida. Always loved how complex helis are and have built a few with friends as well as home built projects.I also fly model helis and model jets. Always reading and flying that's all I do. I am a total nut about aviation. Its in me. I feel so at home in the cockpit if I didn't fly I would be truly lost. A true addition and passion. Thanks for the videos!

I'm a pilot flying out of FRG and one of my favorite rides to give first timers is the NYC Skyline tour. Many of my friends like to fly below the Bravo on the south shore but I love talking to NY ATC. You're so right, they are very professional as you noted. You are as well. Dieses video gefällt mir sehr. Bis zum nächsten mal, tschuß.

Great flight as usual! I see why you chose to fly VFR on such a short flight rather than file an IFR Flight Plan. Not necessary for such a short flight. ATC in the NY Area is one of the busiest air spaces around which is why they are on top of their game. Extremely professional and courteous! The flight was flown to perfection as I would expect!

      Hi James,
thank you for your comment. On a clear day you can fly VFR into JFK. However you are handling's;ed like IFR traffic and have to expect delays.

The 600/750 is a good combination. Some information is duplicated, but this is good, when flying multi-crew. So the info is in view of the right seat pilot too.

Hi Terry, in the USA "Conditional" landing clearances are quite common, e.g. behind landing traffic line up and wait or you are cleared to land as number two, or cleared to land, traffic holding in position. Landing clearance can be cancelled anytime though. I think they do this to manage the massive amount of traffic at some airports. ATC is really great here!

We have traffic alert on board, but you are right - eyes (and common sense) are very good tools.

Nice job on the comms. I've found many pilots don't quite know what to say when faced with Class B high density traffic. I've never flown into JFK, but I've been in the Seattle Class B, and that was pretty busy, especially for a 172. Just have to remember to keep the time on frequency short and concise!

Ohhh you are a brave man! I have flown C206'es to drop jumpers but resisted all invitations to do it myself...
I will certainly check you channel.
    Happy Landings,

Your video refutes a commonly held belief by many pilots that landing at NY airports is crazy difficult when VFR. I got my PPL at LGA when a flight school was there, and I was a teenager. The jet traffic today is about the same as when I flew and the radio work is about the same. I flew a Cherokee 140.
Often ATC would circle us nearby before slipping us in between the jets. Then we'd high tail it in. All fun for a kid. Warnecke is correct, anyone can fly into NYC. Fees are crazy today though.

You are absolutely right! VFR was to safe time and miles flown (shorter route).
    Happy Landings,
