The updated Land Rover Defender has finally hit our shores, and our man behind the wheel thinks Singapore is the perfect proving ground for it. With an updated futuristic design while still retaining its off-roading roots, the Defender could just win some hearts.

Superb coverage as always. Just a few feedback which I believe can make your reviews more interesting:-
1)it's always nice to show the engine bay.it projects the technical and engineering aspect of the car(unless it's an electric car)
2)full panoramic sweep of the dashboard so we get a better idea of how it looks
3)show some points on the screen about the pros and cons of the car so viewers have a better understanding(probably at the end of the review)
4)should talk/explain more about the NVH of the car reviewed
5)the ease or difficulty of parking the car.our small spaces can be a dilemma for some.this might help the potential buyer

Unfortunately we cannot get this defender in malaysia
this car seems to get a lot of hate but most owners i've spoken to love theirs. if you're planning to buy one, take all the info online with a grain of salt.
also, the most off-road we have in SG is probably the bahtera track HAHA
i like idris. the review is very real. i like how he describe the car! and yeah. gotta remove the roof rack. for "safe entry" to the carpark

Hey Gabriel, thanks for the feedback. We do want to do reviews of more affordable cars but some times it’s a matter of availability of test cars for review and there just weren’t any the last few weeks.

sgCarMart Jon I think you should ignore what these people are saying. The streak of videos of cars are interesting. No one wants to watch reviews of Toyotas and entry level mazdas
@@iVengeancee Fact : People who actually want to buy a proper reliable toyota mazda will watch the vids. Its called doing your homework before splashing out hard earned money. + in Sg those entry level cars honestly is enough.

The host is pretty awful
Almost every car is a "Will Buy". I have not seen any "Won't Buy". I wont buy it simply on the price. Its quite gimmicky now. It feels that all cars here are just to promote the car and the brands.
Hey there! We did give "Won't Buy" verdicts for some reviews like the Audi A1 or Nissan Serena e-Power.

Cars in Singapore are sold more expensive due to the high taxes. Just compare Singapore with the cars sold in the US, u can see a huge difference in the prices of the cars
@@anselc366 of course. I am also in Singapore. Its not worth to buy because of the price. A 5 yrs defender in sg carmart is selling at 1/3 the price. Choose a BMW 5 or E class price is only halfed. You are throwing to a brand that is not worth as much as what u think it is. Land Rover Infiniti n all these brands will have a bigger depreciation. That's just how things work.

Actually the plastic is an intentional design for owners who really go into the mud and it makes the cabin easy to clean.
